Middleton is a small, wooded city bordering Lake Mendota, roughly four miles northwest of Madison. This beautiful city often makes "best" lists, including Money Magazine's list of the nation's best small cities to live in.
This friendly city (the motto is the "Good Neighbor City," after all) provides ample park space, including the lakeside Marshall Park, which features a beach area, a boat launch, fishing areas, and a playground. Nearby Lakeview Park features a lake, a splash pad, a playground, picnic areas, and walking trails. The city-owned Pleasant View Golf Course is located on a hill with panoramic views of the Madison skyline. During the winter months, it becomes a cross-country ski park.
While Middleton is a smaller city than the neighboring capital, you won't get bored after moving to a Middleton apartment. This city features a great downtown shopping district, roughly 80 restaurants, and a free trolley.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Lesilve
I have lived here two years. I chose Le Silve for the overall environment including the landscaping, management and staff. The maintenance requests are responded to very promptly and with a personal touch. The management really goes the extra mile to be helpful and make this a great place to live. I love the landscaping and natural setting as well. It is quiet and has many extra features. Great place to live!
Property Manager at Lesilve, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for your review. We always like to hear from our residents and truly appreciate your sharing your living experience greatly appreciate that you have chosen to call LeSilve your home! Thank you again and know we are always here to listen.
LeSilve is a great place to live. Friendly and responsive management and maintenance. Excellent amenities! I have lived here for almost 2 years and it has been an outstanding experience.
LeSilve Apartments and management and maintenance staff have raised the bar for apartment life and customer service. LeSilve is the benchmark that other apartments need to reach. We never knew how wonderful apartment life could be until we found them. When we needed to move closer to family, it was hard to leave. The apartments we found were no LeSilve. Even though we were not renewing our lease, Mark, Andrea, and Lori worked hard to rent our apartment so that we would not need to pay rent for the last month of our lease. You are going to want to live here.
The staff at LeSilve was very helpful & accommodating when we were looking for a place to live. They are very responsive to requests & the apartments are beautiful. I love the breakfast every morning & the business center. Couldn't ask for a better place to live!
Be warned anyone who looks to lock themselves into a financial contract with the management of this property. After living in this complex as accomodating and model tenants for 11 months, come check out time, Gallina management slashed 15% of our security deposit on purely subjective circumstances, for things such as "warn carpet" and "spot in the tub". Hard water stains in the sink, a direct contribution to the poor water quality of the apartment, were also deemed the fault of our poor care. No pictures were provided to justify any of these claims, nor any detailed explanation, aside from a poorly legible pink sheet from a check out list that listed the complaints above, somehow equating to 15 percent of the deposit. The water quality is so outrageously corrosive that both toilets in the apartment had to be scrubbed diligently with a sponge every other week because of the sediment poring out after every single flush. I've been renting apartments for 10 years. Not once have I seen money taken out of my security. This behavior at check out is representitive of the moral character of management you will be subjected to. Considering the already stiff costs of the rent compared to similar properties, and the inconvenience of them changing the terms of their lease lengths to end at more convenient rental periods for them, at your expense, I would advise against anyone making a financial commitment to this complex, especially considering the opening of brand new buildings under different management closer to Greenway staton.
If you want a quiet sanctuary that backs up to the woods in town this is it. Everyone in management is like family and they go out of there way to make it the best place for you to live. My place is not large but it's the little touches: pool parties, up grades, immediate maintenance, even warm chocolate chip cookies in the office everyday etc that make it special. I lived here about 10yrs ago then moved out of town and recently came back and after looking at a lot of apts. I knew I had come home again and that's exactly what it feels like. Home
