WORSE PLACE TO RENT !!!! They don’t care about their residents, leasing guys and SPECIALLY the NEW MANAGER are horrible. My truck was stolen, talked to the front office to try to see if they can help me with the recorded footage since OnStar was asking me for it to try to see if there were any evidence that could help to recover the truck. Called again two days later to ask about the footage and THE NEW MANAGER said they were TOO busy to help me and were going to MAYBE get it the next day. She said she was too busy, was rude and ended the call on me while I was still talking. She didn’t even know about the truck being stolen even tho we talked to the guys in the office the same day it happened. Manager complained about me being frustrated on the phone and I surely was after finding she didn’t even know about it and the helped needed wasn’t there for me. Not sure how they want me to feel…

There are some major issues with this complex. Dog poo is a major one. Many people do not pickup after their dogs and it's everywhere. It prevented my toddlers from playing in the grass. The gate is often broken.. The pool is poorly cleaned. The trash pickup was canceled all the time. The kicker is the exit fee. $115 for carpet cleaning + $250 for standard cleaning + $130 for painting walls after you leave. I asked for a walk thru 2 weeks before end of the lease to fix any problems ahead of time, but they refused (said the guy who did it was too busy) even after asking several times. I just got the bill for $768 and none of that was rent. If you do choose the to rent here, please know that they only use astound internet and they will keep trying to apply their rental insurance; so probably don't try to use your own. Good luck.

I understand they’re under new management but wow they are SUPER unorganized, unhelpful, and every time we had questions, they’ll say they’ll call back... and not call back. Also, the move-in time at 4PM is inconvenient and was not disclosed until the day before..... I’m honestly scared to live there for a year now because dealing with them is a major pain in the behind.

This place is great. Maintenance is always prompt when I need assistance and Sylvia from the front office is always helpful as well. The inside of the apartments are so nice with the dark wood cabinets and the dark grey floors. I absolutely love living here. The complex is peaceful as well and the people are always nice

Not only is the interior beautiful, from the dark cabinets to the dark grey wood floors and the up to date appliances but i always get help ASAP when I need it. Nice granite countertops, but we had several issues while at Legacy Flats. Back gate broken for 5-6 months and left open for all to enter. Elliptical not working in clubhouse for a month and water dispenser is often empty. All visitor parking spaces were filled, so my sister's car was towed because there was no where else to park. Rent was increased last year $60/month and again another $60/month this past year. Seems like there is no insulation between floors because we can hear everything in the apartment above us. Neighbor's car was broken into last month. Office staff seems very apathetic to any issues that may arise and don't return phone calls. I would pass on living there.

Upon moving in apt was dirty with dead bugs, black ants on window sill. Pool was never clean and office staff always had an excuse. Pool was closed for two weeks to get glass out of it. Supposedly they drained the pool and cleaned it. Upon reopening the pool two weeks later it was dirty, there was algae on the bottom and the water was green. Office staff said pool is cleaned daily, which is a lie. The office staff thinks closing the pool for “unknown time frames” will fix the problem. Very disappointed as the apt complex is listed as “luxury apts.” Very far from being ”luxury.” I would not recommend this apt complex to anyone.

These apartments are aesthetically pleasant, considering the complex is relatively new, however be weary when you leave after finishing out your lease. I spent hours and hours cleaning my apartment, just to see a bill for $420 for egregious cleaning and repair fees. If you’re a college student and/or don’t have the funds to cough up that kind of money, I do not recommend this place. I even tried talking to one of the staff members about the fees, but telling from his lack of eye contact, body language, and easy dismissal of my cleaning abilities, he had no intention of compromising with me. It’s telling how much they don’t care about the lasting impression of residents, which is something that shouldn’t be taken for granted considering those opinions matter for potential residents, people rely on reviews. If you visually love the place enough to lease, when move out day comes 1. TAKE PICTURES, 2. Hire cleaners (if you can afford it, either way it would be a lot cheaper than what Legacy charges), 3. If possible, ask if you can tag along during the apartment walk-through so there’s no discrepancies. Another thing that was irritable, I had turned in my move-out notice in time (60 days prior), about a month later, I get a call from the staff attempting to see if I’d be interested in releasing. Logically, it would make sense to not hold the notice if a resident hadn’t explicitly stated they would be releasing, few weeks before my move out date, I go to the office to ask about the prorated rent for my final month, come to find out, despite turning in the notice at the appropriate time, they had manage to get me to pay an about additional $300 for rent (consequently from never processing my notice), phrasing it as if they were helping me not have any demerits on my leasing records and that the extra two weeks would buy me more time to move out. Overall, pretty place to live at, but best believe, they’ll try to exploit extra money out of when you decide to leave. It’s very disappointing considering how much I use to like this place.
Don't expect to have family visit because their car will be towed within TEN MINUTES after arriving. There are very few visitor parking spots. Gate is always broken so anyone can enter. You will be kicked out of the pool area if you are not wearing your resident band. Maintenance will take at least 1-2 weeks to get your issue resolved. Maintenance also marks your requests as completed when they haven't even been by your apartment yet. Staff will act as if they care about your issue but will not follow up or even attempt to resolve your issue. Management sends annoying emails threatening to fine you for breaking rules. I can hear all of my neighbors noise and the ones above me stomping due to paper thin walls.
This is one of the loudest and most noisy places I have ever lived. I feel like my upstairs neighbor is going to fall through my ceiling. You hear everything! Our daughter's bed is also in our room because the wall that faces the stairwell is so loud that no one can realistically sleep in there. The dog park is great...until you have 7 dogs out there barking non stop at 10 pm. We loved the staff when we put the deposit down. But once we moved in they were all gone and the new management is awful. You want to speak with someone or ask a question? Well don't waste your time leaving a message when they don't answer because they will never call you back. Only good thing I have to say is the maintenance men are great. But other than that, I am counting down the days to move!!!
Beautiful apartments but not a great place if you want to live without a ton of noise. The floors are paper thin, so if you don't want pounding above your head, you better choose the third floor. If you want anything done, be sure not to speak with Daniel in the office! He is rude and you will get nothing accomplished besides him acting like a guard dog for the rest of the staff! Have noise issues with your neighboor and their kids who don't know how to walk and only run and stomp around their apartment? Forget having the issue handled, it won't be handled and you will be forced to deal with it while your neighbors can continuously ignore their lease! There is not enough parking for the residents. The staff has implemented parking where guests are supposed to park in visitor parking, but that rarely happens, there is supposed to be a tow service, but that does not happen, sometimes resident can't even find a parking spot and risk their vehicles by parking in a covered spot! Dogs are left outside barking at all hours of the night and nothing can be done! Just beware that this place is beautiful, yes, but not a great choice. If you come, ask to see the model unit, hopefully someone above that unit will be home so you can see how thing the floorboards are! I have had pictures fall off my walls from the children upstairs jumping around! Not normal apartment living!
