Great staff who are prompt with response time and trying to resolve issues. It feels safe living here and we like the new gate installed. Security that was hired was also very attentive and friendly.

So far the experience of living here has been great. The only recommendation I have is to change the amenities hours for the weekends. It should be open until at least 11 PM.

The apartments garage door doesn’t work and it’s been over 1.5 years. They are no where even close to finishing that up. The apartments are very pricey considering the neighborhood Apartment is overall well maintained and the has good amenities

Great centrally located property! The 24-hour security in the parking garage makes the building feel even more secure. The fixtures and style of the apartment is modern and the maintenance team is very responsive.

This is one of the most beautiful properties I've seen in the Bay Area. In particular, the amount of storage, and the thoughtful design of the storage, is in a class of its own. I was so impressed with the staff and the sense of community from the residents I met on my tour. I think the small size is a big asset. I would recommend this property!

Decent apartment with great amenities. The only thing is that the walls are a bit thin, we can feel vibration when people downstairs and next doors play music with base. I love spending time at the sky lounge but Lounge hours could be extended during the weekends. Other than that, everything else is great.

Apartment complex is nice and well maintained. All the workers here are nice and easy to talk to. The only thing I can really mention is that the garage hasn’t worked for most of the time I’ve lived here but that isn’t the complex’s fault

Really disappointing, the garage door was always a problem, it never worked! the spa was out of service for a long time, when I decided to move out of these apartments the manager Donna was never kind to answer messages and emails about my move out, I had an incident with my new car, a resident damaged my car with a big scratch and no one wanted to take responsibility for this, the staff is usually friendly while they sweeten your ear so you can sign a lease, but after that, you have to endure everything I already mentioned! Be careful, it is not worth paying that amount of money for what they offer, parking is a real problem, good luck in your new experience with Legacy at Hayward

These larger projects normally take time, which is the reason why we hired 24/7 security to monitor our garage until this project is completed. Spa Out of Service: Maintenance and repairs are priorities for us and the spa is fully operational for all of our residents to enjoy. While unforeseen circumstances may arise, we strive to minimize any inconvenience to our residents. Communication during Move-Out: We apologize if there were delays or lapses in communication during your move-out process. Our team endeavors to assist residents promptly and efficiently during transitions, and we will review our procedures to ensure better responsiveness in the future. Damage to Your Vehicle: We are deeply sorry to hear about the incident involving your vehicle. We take matters of resident safety and property damage very seriously. Our team did like to investigate this matter further to understand what occurred and how we can prevent similar incidents in the future. Even though we are not liable for any damage, we did take action on this matter. Great amenities and centralized location that is convenient. The leasing office staff center customer service and go above and beyond. The 24- hour security in the parking deck is also a great addition.

Not everything is bad but should be better!!! Not enough parking, this is a big problem for this community, nice model apartments you don’t want to choose apartments next to auto zone, a lot of noise

The garage door has been a problem and safety issue since a while now. It never gets fixed. Been months and tons of break-ins still no action by management.

Marijuana smoke consistently fills my apartment through the vents from other resident’s apartments, upstairs neighbours are loud and stomping late at night, discontinued guest parking shortly after moving in, garage gate consistently broken and left open causing residents cars to be susceptible for break-ins. Not happy shortly after moving in.

The building is beautiful. The amenities are really nice. The building is safe. I like that you have parcel delivers and that when you order food it can be kept in cool places.

Legacy at Hayward fails miserably when it comes to ensuring residents' safety. Our car, along with several others, was broken into within the supposedly secure confines of the gated garage. The management's solution is to periodically hire security, but it's a mere facade—a temporary fix that only lasts a few weeks before disappearing again, leaving residents vulnerable to theft. This pattern of negligence and inadequate security measures is unacceptable. Despite numerous incidents, the management seems indifferent and unwilling to implement a lasting solution. It's a continuous cycle of false promises and lack of genuine concern for the safety of those living here. I highly advise against choosing this residence if you value your safety and belongings. The lack of effort to rectify these recurring issues is a clear indication that Legacy at Hayward prioritizes appearances over the well-being of its residents. Avoid the headache and find a community that takes security seriously.

Residency is clean and quiet. Has had a couple problems with the garage but the team had a been very communicative with updates. Team is very kind and sweet and very understanding.

I moved in for a month. Very enjoyed living here. Good amenities and very helpful staff! The system is safe but you need to make sure your phone is charged and Bluetooth is opened. Sometimes it can be inconvenient, which is tradeoff of security.

It’s been great so far the neighbors are so friendly and welcoming. I’ve already had the privilege of hanging out with a few of my neighbors. Gladys has also been absolutely amazing with helping me get settled! She’s been able to answer all of my questions and has made this process very smooth.

I moved here in December ‘22 and have had such a great experience so far. My favorite things about living here are how secure the building is and how safe I feel the amazing staff (Gladys, Amanda and Rafael) are so friendly and I see them work so hard every day from the up keep of the building to ensuring packages or food/grocery deliveries are delivered given the secure access to the building to welcoming potential residents and touring them (just to name a few things I see on a daily basis) how clean they keep the common areas in/outside of the building the amenities available to the residents I have seen residents complaints about things that are very typical of apartment living like noise from an upstairs neighbor or that the garage gate or hot tub was out of service for a little bit. And yes there will always be something that doesn’t sit well with someone but I have lived in and also toured many apartments around the Bay Area and have never felt so at home as I do here.

So far, it’s been pretty good. Moving in was one of the best features because they are so accommodating. They even went ahead and let us reserve an elevator and closer parking spot just so we can move in.

Cons: thin walls so you can hear your neighbors cough; garage door sometimes malfunctions so tenants have to get out of their car to restart it; tv in the pool area does not work Pros: good amenities (pool, spa, BBQ area, sky lounge); friendly and helpful maintenance man; clean and upgraded units The staff that was here when I moved in back in January (Amanda and Shanai) were a lot friendlier than the staff they currently have now, which is unfortunate.

I moved here back in October of 2022 so am definitely long overdue with my view ….but this is the place is what I’ve have been looking looking for all along in Hayward it’s safe and all the amenities are great with the salty spa and pool the lounge are and offices spaces no matter if you’re working from home and you’re looking for a private spots to pick up those important calls you definitely have a space for that … all year along and security is 24/7 which is great also the community manager attending to the residents and all the residents needs is one in a million care. Always looking forward to community events scheduled all month around. Would recommend this community for lite reasons listed above ??
