Apartments for Rent in Lee Hall, Newport News, VA
Before 1958, Lee Hall was an independent village. Today, it is a neighborhood of Newport News, extending from the southern edge of the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station to the peninsula that juts out into the James River. Lee Hall is named for Lee Hall Mansion, a historic plantation home built around 1851 and one of the last antebellum homes remaining in Virginia. During the Civil War, the plantation served as the headquarters for Confederate generals during the Peninsula Campaign.
