They get mad for asking for repairs. The maintenance people smell like marijuana/stink of it actually. They take months to fix one thing,we got a apt “ready to move in” pee stains,dirty bathrooms and literally someone was shot behind our unit and cops are there constantly

NO CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING took several months to fix my shower, which was broken when we moved in. took 5 months to fix my dishwasher. the buildings are falling apart and management just slaps on some paint and calls it good

If I could of given this zero stars I would. The maintenance guys never fixed anything, my apartment had 2 leaks in the bathroom, a broken A/C unit and the maintenance men never had parts to fix anything. If you’re considering moving in here. Think twice!

Too many roaches and dog poop is everywhere. The office personnel are incredibly rude and never follow up. Apartment is in complete disrepair with broken appliances not anything like the model they show you!

I love my 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with a loft apartment. Layton Meadows make sure you feel at home.
I feel like I was tricked into signing a lease here. The pictures on the website are outdated or flat out another place entirely! The apartment I was shown was not the one they gave me and the one I live in is run down and nothing works! They were really nice, but pushy about getting the non-refundable deposit until I gave it to them and then I was treated poorly. I was told I could move in on a certain date (which I gave notice to my old place and got help from friends to move on) and then the day before in the afternoon I called to see if I could come pick up the keys and they said it wasn't ready and they needed three more days. All told it ended up being close to a week AFTER I was told I could move in that I actually got into my apt. Upon move in the place was dirty and most things were in bad shape or did not work at all. I put in a maintenance request and it took close to a week of constant calls to the office to get someone to come repair SOME of the problems. I will say once the maintenance guy got here he did do a good job, it's just getting them here and then having the time to fix what they need to. Most of the tenants here I would guess are drunks and drug users who could care less about being courteous to their neighbors. They smoke on the stairs leaving ash and butts all over and are very noisy until early morning hours. I have been here a month and can not wait to move once my lease is up! Had I been shown the actual apt I moved into and known they would not honor their move in date not once but twice I would have NEVER moved in here. If you are thinking of Layton Meadows - RUN!
I have lived at Layton Meadows since April 2015. The apartments are pet friendly with large grassy areas for the animals to run. Apartment complex is close to the mall and restaurants. Also close to the base and access to I-15. I have had no issues with management since living here. The apartments are clean and neighbors are quiet and friendly. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking in the Layton area.
I've lived here since 10/2014 and this is my 1st experience renting an apartment. The property management doesn't respond to maintenance needs. I've asked 6 times since early April for them to fix or replace my cooling unit. It won't stay on, so me & my small child have sweated in misery through the summer months. I always pay my rent on time, I am quiet & a respectful neighbor. I can hardly wait for my lease to expire to move away. The cops are here regularly for domestic disputes, drug activity, etc. I've come to know exactly why this place is dubbed "Layton Ghettos Apts" renters beware! One star is too high of a rating, I would've given half a star if that were an option.
