Property Ratings at Latitude at Deerfield
It went from good to poor over the past 3 years. The company change was not good- and during covid the common areas were disgusting and not cleaned. Hallways, stairwells, and elevators are only cleaned 1x per week. The trash in the hallway is disgusting, and the humans living there don’t follow rules, nor does management enforce them. Definitely saw a decline in quality of grounds and types of people living there over the course of 3 years. My advice is to update the dingy hallways and paint, get rid of hallway trash, and be more selective with those who try to rent there. It started out nice but quickly declined. Any time I had a request I was not taken seriously, which was my #1 reason to move.
Not worth the money. Neighbors and facility are no good.
My husband and I moved to Latitude in February 2018, and we absolutely love it here! The apartments are spacious and new with beautiful finishes. The grounds and amenities are lovely and well-kept. Most importantly, however, the people at Latitude are amazing, especially Holly. We had to rent the apartment without visiting first, and Holly helped us get all the paperwork sorted and made sure we were comfortable even in a less-than-ideal situation. We were very pleasantly surprised when the apartment was even better than the pictures online! Additionally, when we had problems with a neighbor playing music all night long (not normally a problem here, his subwoofer was just really loud!) Holly worked with everyone involved to resolve the situation and let me sleep. She has been wonderful the entire time we've lived here. The one con is that maintenance had problems fixing our leaking toilet. I think part of that may have been turnover when the complex was sold a few months ago, but for whatever reason it took four maintenance requests to get a working toilet. Again, however, Holly stuck with us and now we couldn't be happier. If you're looking for somewhere to live in the Mason area, I highly recommend Latitude at Deerfield!

What a wonderful endorsement for Holly and her excellent service! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We aim to get the same enthusiastic feedback for our maintenance service too and will look into how we can improve it to make it more efficient. We appreciate your positive review and recommendation. Thanks, again.
My husband and I moved in to Latitude at the beginning of June 2018. Our experience has been very good so far. The shining light of the company that runs the apartments, is Holly. She is the Assistant Manager, and let me tell you, she is an angel. Upon meeting us when we were first touring the apartments, she gave us her personal cell to get in touch with her if we had any questions. She's always so prompt in her responses, and is super helpful. For example, one morning, I accidentally left my keys in my husbands gym bag, and he left for work before me. I had my spare car key, but no way to lock our apartment door. I texted Holly, and as soon as she got to the apartment, she went straight to our unit, and locked the door for me. Now, when my husband matched for his Residency, I started looking around apartments in the Cincinnati area, and for some of the apartment complexes near Latitude, they had absolutely terrible reviews. The apartments are clean, and everything is new. I have not had one incident of a neighbor being too loud, or the walls being so thin that I could hear the neighbor upstairs, everything has been amazing. Also, any time we've needed maintenance done, it was done within that week, and if it wasn't you were given updates on where a part was, or when it would be completed. I would 100% say that this place is worth renting, and that the management here has a good head on their shoulders. At the beginning of our rental period, the apartments changed ownership, and that look a little time for them to get their bearings. But the best decision that they made was to keep Holly, because she was the main reason that we chose to live here. One other side note, another huge benefit to living here is you are within 5 minutes of everything you would need. Kroger is 3 minutes away, there is a Crunch fitness that's even closer, all the restaurants you could want, and my husband and I's personal favorite, a Costco right down the street. Not to mention, you're right off of I-71. The location of this apartment is absolutely perfect, and if you don't want to deal with the hassle of Mason-Montgomery road being so busy all the time, you can just take the road behind the apartment called Wilkins, and that will take you right to where you need to go. In the end, this apartment has done my husband and I very well, and we are extremely happy with our choice to stay here.

On behalf of Holly and the rest of our team, thank you for your wonderful review! We are so pleased to know that you're enjoying the convenience, service, and outstanding living experience we have to offer. Thanks for choosing our community!
I moved in a year ago under old management and was very happy. Honeymoon is over! The place has been sold and is on a speedy downhill decline! If you enjoy horrible parking conditions, unsecured package delivery, and daily harassing emails then feel free to live here. Not to mention the dog poop which was on the glass door three feet from the ground, filthy hallways, and the major decline in maintenance. Not Luxury anymore! Take my advice and stay away!

I love my apartment and the amenities. I spent a lot of time at the pool this summer and it was always clean and pleasant. The lobby and common area are organized and comfortable. If I have needed maintenance, it has been quick and done well. Couldn't be happier!!
I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Latitude. We are so excited about our new community, however, we have had construction delays beyond our control. We have made every effort not to promise a date to anyone as we still do not have an occupancy date for our second building. Perhaps you will give us a second chance if you decide to move again in the future. My name is Chris and I replaced the original Property Manager here at Latitude. Feel free to contact me anytime. Best of luck to you.
Filled out an application beginning of the year to reserve an apartment in the new building for a July move in. We were promised it would be done by the end of June no problem. When the time came it was delayed to beginning of July, no problem right? Wrong. Our lease ran out at the end of July in our old apartment, and we were told just a couple more weeks. We stayed in an extended stay for three weeks wasting thousands of dollars before throwing in the towel and moving elsewhere. They were not willing to cover any cost lost while waiting, and they still have not opened up the new building that was supposed to be done in June. They would never tell us what we were waiting on, and had to constantly bug them for any updates. Very secretive. After we decided to go elsewhere we heard rumors of several people breaking their leases with Latitude to move to other neighborhoods because they were so unhappy. They've also gone through 5 property managers in the last year. Not the way to run an apartment property.
This place has people working there that don't communicate with each other , no one knows what's going on.they promise people apartments and give them dates and then tell them the apartment is full and they should wait over a month for another apartment. Very unorganized place to be so nice , they really should get everything together. No one likes to have their time wasted. It really is a shame to have a nice apartment building run by these people!
Latitude is a great place to live! The apartments are brand new, modern, and very spacious! There are tons of things to do in the Mason area: shop, dine, or take a walk! VERY quick access to the highway if you want to go downtown Cincinnati for a Reds or Bengals game. The management staff is very friendly and always willing to help with anything. When I moved in I had a horrible moving company move my stuff in and they were more than willing to help me contact the right person to get the issues straightened out. There are some growing pains with a new community as this complex is brand new, so the city's inspections tend to take a while, but it was definitely worth it! Also, the building is VERY pet friendly. The VIP trash service included in the rent is awesome. They always have fun resident events going on. I don't plan on moving out until I am ready to buy a house! I truly love it here.
