Property Ratings at Lantower Techridge
This apartment was kind on the front end, but at move out they abused our kindness by racking up tons of “damage fees” that were previously notated on the move in inspection report. No one wants to talk to you after move out, they shove you to their billing office who then just passes your concern on to the incompetent apartment managers at this location and they never answer your questions. I always paid on time, and was very patient with them. We paid way more than market rate to do short term housing for 3-4 months. They still treat us terribly. I don’t recommend renting from any Lantower apartment.

I have been a resident here for 3 years and have seen so many different things occur. First is the maintenance staff, there are so many times that I have put in a request AND still have the issue not resolved. My dishwasher is still not working but maintenance states “it’s fixed”. After awhile you just tired of going back and forth and just give up on having someone come fix your requested issues. **BEWARE OF TOWING!!** Back in November of 2023 (last month) my car was towed twice. Again, I have been living here for 3 years and have never been towed. Please make sure you and your guest have your vehicles in the portal. I have call the towing company to request a reimbursement but they still have not responded ($275). Do not park in carpools or reserved spots…they will tow you. I just feel we pay too much for a small apartment, noisy neighbors that are upstairs (I swear they are professional river dancers or with WWE), dog poop and smell outside, and unreliable maintenance workers. Oh, and they put a small backyard for the people who live on the first floor….I hope I don’t get charged for that because I never agreed to have that done. With that being said….just buy a house. More room/space, no towing, and you have your peace and quiet.

I've lived here since July 2020 and it's been nothing but issues. The leasing manager is absolutely useless. They refuse to take responsibility for any issue. Things get stolen constantly, property gets damaged, it's complete trash. The only response you'll ever get from the office is "it's not our fault." I can't believe I was dumb enough to move here.
Moved in on Monday 04/13 was supposed to move in on Saturday, was told we cant because the apartment wasn’t ready. Moved in and the fridge has a potent mole odour, called and informed Leasing staff on Tuesday said maintenance would fix it, they didn’t come. Called on Wednesday again said they would fix it. Staff called me on Thursday and said that they would have a fridge for us on Monday, by now the food in the fridge is being affected already. I said it was fine but what about in the meantime because the food is tasting weird. She said I could get a standard fridge instead but they will not swop it out by Monday I explained that we were paying for the amenities in the apartment such as the side by side fridge with a water system. She stated that I’d have to wait till Monday to get the upgraded fridge instead and not have it replaced but still have to pay the same amount that I am. And I stated that I can taste in my food that the mould was starting to affect it and she didn’t seem bothered still telling me that they can send me an upgraded fridge on Monday. I am furious because I had to wait for the apartment 2 days after we were supposed to have it. This should have been sorted and now if we get sick from the fridge being infected with mold I’m basically being told no one cares. I am furious and would have never moved in with this service
Very loud, very dirty, and unsafe. I spent 3 weeks in this apartment and would not recommend to anyone who works during the day and sleeps at night. In the 3 weeks I spent there, I saw police activity every night. The place comes alive after 7:00 PM and it feels like a horror movie. Lantower is on my top 10 biggest regrets list in life. The office and pool look nice but the buildings are terrible. I failed to read the reviews and visit buildings prior to sign the lease, and that was a huge mistake. Lesson learned. Do your homework! Walk the property. Speak to current residents. Visit the place at night. Read reviews. The address (location) and first impression can camouflage a terrible experience.
From the time we moved in 5 months ago, the management has changed 3 or 4 times...and has gone down the drain severely. We had maintenance issues for months, had a 24/7 drug neighbor which pulled a gun on me, and no help from office. Now that a new manager (#4) has come in, they’re requesting documents they never asked for as we were approved to move in! This place is filthy and trash everywhere!
The amenities are good and the units are nicely finished. They will nickel and dime you for everything, e.g. amenities fee, covered parking, valet trash (mandatory) and etc. The heating constantly failed during my stay, they failed to fix it properly prior to my vacating unit. Also the noise from the pool music (controlled by management) prevented me from sleeping (worked nights). I asked management to turn volume down repeatedly (intially volume was acceptable) then I could hear inside unit, windows closed and above the rain soundmachine I used for sleeping. There were days when it was raining outside no one using pool and they still cranked the volume. I questioned why I was writing a check every month to a management who's own actions were preventing me from getting enough sleep.
Very nice property in a nice location. We're looking for a newer property and I think we found it! The leasing agent, Kendra, was very nice and informative. I'm not big on amenities but they're really nice. They even have a dog washing station!
