Lakeside Villas

Honestly it’s not too bad. It’s all about your level of what you can deal with. The fees you pay you don’t benefit for amities. There’s two pools and one is going to be dirty. By the time the one that’s dirty gets cleaned the other is now dirty ready to be clean. And it goes back and forth between the two. There’s two club houses. The one in the back you can’t use. Why?. Don’t really know they just make sure you know you cannot use it. & it’s a pretty good looking club house. The one in the front by the office you have to make a reservation or something it’s usual events going on up there. Idk. Gym, I wouldn’t even call it that there’s like 3 options to use in there. It has a weird smell. Trash is always overflowed. Dog poop is always everywhere despite the complex having dog baggy stations throughout the complex. Dog owners are just lazy & nasty. Front gate always out I don’t think I’ve seen a whole week go by and nothing was wrong with the gate. Now I will say office was available when needed. When you put in a maintenance request it will be done by next day. They are really fast with that. Also keep in mind never had a major issue just little things. PARKING!. Omg parking sucks. After 5 pm just know there is no parking . You will be parking a building or two down from your apartment. I’ve never seen an area where there was never any parking available. Now you can pay to get a reserved parking spot but that just another thing they tryna have you pay for . You supposed to be living in a gated community & you don’t even have anywhere to park. Noise?, never really had any noise problems. Overall it was cool. For the price you pay you would expect more.

Management sucks, trash overflows, dog poop on sidewalks, gate always stuck open, never can get in touch with management, homeless man chased me to my apartment!! So unsafe so loud so DIRTYYYYY. Gym has no AC and barely any equipment.

Overpriced for the quality you receive. Apartment floors are ugly. Terrible apartment layout. Parking is terrible at night. Gate seldom works. On top of that Baton Rouge is a terrible city as well.

Trash is a major issue, especially for those who live near the dumpsters. The gate always malfunction, which concerns many residents. Most importantly, several residents throughout the community, including my vehicle was broken into. There are CONSTANT CAR BREAK-INS with no recourse from Lakeside Villas.

Definitely not worth the cost! If you come at night there’s never parking available! If you stay in the middle you’ll have to park a far from your apartment and walk. A lot of cars being broken into! Maintenance is terrible and the grounds are never cleaned. Management is rude.

Lived here for about about 2 and a half years as I was finishing school. From the time I moved in to when I relocated, the buildings definitely got an improvement. The place was quiet and overall comfortable!

Shout out to the maintenance guys who have helped us make our home fantastic more times than I can count!! Also the management/office for staying on top of the daily chaos of life!

Ive lived here for a little over a year now. At first i really enjoyed it. The lake is beautiful and our neighbors were really friendly. That quickly changed however. Our Apartment has had a ton of issues. Cheap appliances keep breaking, the price went up after our lease was up, constant issues with the gate making me late to work sometimes, and now i dont feel safe here since the shooting.

We had a short lease here, most of staff was really nice, maintenance crew is great. Parking can fill up fast. Keep in mind that there are a lot of buildings that face the interstate, and traffic can be heard, sometimes softer than others, from the front half of the apartments. I think it is crucial to note that the first majority of our stay here was great for the price... but in the last month there have been several vehicle burglaries, and an isolated shooting as well. Needless to say we were glad this was a temporary stay. Can't speak for a year ago and beyond. They are expanding the back of the property as well with beautiful new apartments and a new clubhouse.

I've lived here for almost three years. Excellent management. Very responsive to tenants questions andconcerns. Wouldn't live anywhere else in this area.

Manager was rude upon leaving. They tried to get as much money out of us as possible. Almost doubled our rent for the last months stay and charged us multiple fees after we had been gone a whole month.

Nice scenery, but the bugs are horrrible!! Really Quiet ,but apartments are outdated!

Lakeside Villas is a wonderful place to live. The staff are prompt when answering requests and are very friendly. There's a fishing pond for residents who enjoy fishing as well as a gym, business office, and great pool area to name a few amenities. Apartments are modern with marble countertops, wood flooring, with each apartment having a washer and dryer. Lakeside Villas is located in a wonderful area and close to the inner state for easy travel. A gated community that allows you to feel safe and comfortable and I am happy to call it home .

Lived here for 6 years. Very quiet and good location. Recently under new management and has some improvement. Need to clean pool area and moniter more closely who comes in and hangs out . Also, needs to have surveillance !!
