Overall lakes edge is a good community, it’s well kept and the staff are great. I’ve never had any issues with the service from complex. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part. The few complaints I have mainly have to deal with where the times are going. Everywhere is moving to less hours and more online self service which is annoying. When we need something we want people not call centers or AI self service portals. I can’t fault the physical community for that.

I have lived at Lake’s edge going on 3 years now. This is a wonderful community! I love the access to the pool, a gym membership and all of the other amenities! The office staff at Lakes Edge is always very thoughtful and kind. They help with whatever they can as quickly as they can, and I appreciate them. I have been in the Lakes Edge community for a little over 2 years. It’s a pretty quiet, secured and ducked off neighborhood. I do feel pretty safe here and for 1 person it’s a pretty decent neighborhood. The leasing office staff are kind and helpful. The maintenance team is also pretty efficient. A pretty solid place to live as a young adult.

The parking is bad. There is not enough for every apartment to have two cars, then you add visitors parking where they shouldn't be parking. There is no water meter for each apartment, so if neighbors have visitors your paying for them.

We do issue parking passes to each resident and have recently sent out reminders about parking policies and where visitors can park. We also have a massive parking audit planned for next week, so we will be coming out and tagging vehicles that are improperly parked. We try to do this at least once a month or as often as complaints come in. It is true that we are a RUBS property, not sub metered, so the bill is paid in its entirety and then the charges are distributed depending on floorplan size and household occupancy. Our experience here has not been the best. We’ve had 2 different neighbors that have lived above us in the year we have been here and they are the loudest and most inconsiderate people we have lived around before, we’ve expressed concerns to management and it doesn’t seem to do anything. We’ve also have 4 or 5 water leaks living here for a little over a year which is just an inconvenience for everyone.

If you are looking for an apartment, look no further. Lakes Edge not only offers beautiful apartments, they also offer a secluded, private park like living experience. The lake is beautiful and so clear you can see the fish come up to eat. You’ll see nature first hand as the ducks and geese love to visit your front yard. If you are a nature lover you’ll love your apartment as much as I do. They also have a wonderful area to swim, have family gatherings ect. You should definitely come and take a tour, I think you’d be as amazed as I am that I give to live in such a beautiful and serene area. :)

Lakes Edge is a lovely place to live. The lake is nice to take walks to and just sit and relax and watch the ducks and swan and various other critters roam around. I love being tucked back into the complex. Feels like our own little neighborhood!

I have lived at lake edge apartments going on 2 years now and love it. The front desk is super nice especially Anita and whenever I have put in a maintenance request they come right away.

My wife and I have been here for almost 3 years and have been extremely happy with the service provided. It's a lot nicer than some other apartment complexes in the area and we have no complaints.
Lakes Edge staff are kind and attentive, the grounds are well kept, and the community feel can be as much as you want to make of it. Apartments are up-to-date and comfortable. If you don't mind seeing seeing many Geese all year round, you'll love it!
Cortland is a Beautiful, peaceful place to live. Conveniently located. I love that I don't have to travel far for groceries or other shopping needs! More importantly neighbors say hi & smile & wave, and the management is Friendly, fun, and helpful! Come to Cortland if you are looking for a really nice place live.
Well managed place. Reasonable rent, attentive manager, quiet "off the freeway" location and best of all, Mature Trees! My apartment is like living in a tree house for 8 months of the year. Very nice!
Great management/maintenance team. They answer calls very fast, and will give you an answer to the problem. The kitchens are small, not much cabinet space. Its an expensive apartment

2020 has been tough for everybody. I lived in Cincinnati, all my relatives are mainly here in Columbus. I decided to move here, started searching for places to live! Happy to say, my niece recommended Lakes Edge of Cortland. Im happy she did and I'm enjoying the roomy apartment! I would recommend anyone looking, come to Cortland, it's beautiful here Summer & Winter! I like that the neighbors are friendly and don't hesitate to wave.
The leasing office staff are really interested in the residents. They gave me a card and flowers when my cat passed away. The upgrades in the kitchen are beautiful and fun to use.
Overall, Lakes Edge is a beautiful community! Ive always felt safe living here! The management team are wonderful people who truly work hard to satisfy their residents! Ive been a happy resident here for 8 years now!
Its a quiet community tucked back off Hill rd. From the leasing office to grounds keeping they do a great job responding to concerns and resolving them. I really have no complaints, they do a great job!
Lakes edge is a quiet place. Most Columbus apartments are built near the freeways. The 24/7 highway noise never stops. Buy here I hear birds and I am surrounded by beautiful mature trees. It's close to stores too. Handy!
Lakes Edge is a fantastic place to live. This is the second time that I have lived here, and I had high expectations upon coming back, and I have not been disappointed.
Ive enjoyed my time with Lakes Edge so far. It has only been just under two months- but the touring/moving process during Covid-19 was less than a hassle! They kept the process smooth and quick just as I assume it was prior. I love the bark park addition and so does my pup! The whole place is kept pretty clean. I love the valet trash service the newly renovated additions!
