Property Ratings at Lakes at Ashton Village
Management is very unprofessional - they trump up items when you move out - i had no bug issues while there, but when i moved out all of a sudden the carpet has maggots in it - they double bill you on the water bill - charged me for the drip pans on the stove - needless to say i very hardly ever used it - loud cars and motorcycles going thru the parking lot at all hours of the night - heavy rains causing flooding the parking lot - high enough to just barely reach your car doors - loud people at all hours of the night
Unprofessional staff, had multiple problems with management. Would not recommend!

We spoke in length multiple times about what your financial obligation would be if you chose to break lease with us. You chose to do so with a complete understanding of what you would be responsible for financially. We rerented your apartment as quickly as possible so that minimum cost would be incurred by you. Even though I was not required to do so, I contacted you once you moved and gave you the opportunity to return to the apartment to take care of items in order to avoid owing money for them. I even followed up with you when you were on the verge of being sent to collections so it would not be damaging to your credit. Im sorry if you are upset that I did exactly what you knew I would be doing and what your lease agreement stated you would be responsible for. Please understand that I have to maintain fairness for all and it would be grossly unfair to expect that everyone else has to adhere to the lease except for you because you are upset by it now.
I used to live there...There are loud trains going by all night long laying on their horns thru the crossings. I had a hard time sleeping. Parking lot was designed wrong and floods in some areas after heavy rains, affecting tenants cars. Many aggressive dogs in complex, and dog do in grassy areas. Upside is they do accept a lot of section 8 tenants, and the rents are fairly cheap.
Quiet, country setting with quick access to city amenities. Spacious, pet-friendly apartments nestled in a family oriented area. Great place to come home to every day!
Compared to all of the apartments there are available in Ashville, Ohio it's not that bad. The price for rent is reasonable, the neighborhood is quiet, the apartment flexible as far as they have two different floor plans to choose from, they are very quick in emergency to get the gas hot water heater or gas furnace back on if they go out. In the heat of summer they are quick about getting someone out to fix the a/c unit. I have been here now 4 years and every time something has came up they have been very quick and efficient with fixing any problem.
