To call Cedar-Isles-Dean a "lakefront" community wouldn't do it justice -- the neighborhood touches three major lakes: Cedar Lake (which extends well into the neighborhood), Lake of the Isles, and Lake Calhoun. The lakes offer a variety of parks, boat launches, and walking trails, such as the North Cedar Lake Regional Trail, Kenilworth Trail, the Midtown Greenway, and the Grand Rounds National Byway. The neighborhood even has a park for your pet -- the Lake of the Isles Dog Park -- and a swimming beach -- the Lake Calhoun North Beach.
Cedar-Isles-Dean, one of Minneapolis' most affluent communities, takes its name from two of the major lakes and Dean Parkway, which extends through the center of the neighborhood. The Cedar-Isles-Dean Neighborhood Association, or CIDNA, organizes a variety of community events, including a fall festival, held in October at Park Siding Park.

I have been a resident of Lakehaus for two years and it has truly changed my life. The entire community, including other residents and the management, leasing, concierge and maintenance teams do an amazing job. It is literally like staying at a high end hotel. The amenities are great, the building is always super clean and the overall sense of community living in this "vertical" neighborhood is very special. I have already referred a few friends to the building and HIGHLY recommend non-residents.

Lakehaus is a gem of a building, from the timeless and relaxed aesthetic, the ultimate location, the staff, the cleanliness, the vibe, the events, and the friendly residents. Living at LakeHaus is a solid “Get to.” The property is very well managed and beautifully maintained. Staff does a phenomenal job executing resident events. The only real challenge is lack of guest parking. Otherwise, living here is a 5 star experience.

I've enjoyed my time at Lakehaus overall. Building management and maintenance are very responsive and keep things neat and tidy. They do a great job with community programming with rooftop parties and wine nights. Sara and Jon are very friendly and helpful with accommodating residents' requests. The rooftop pool is tiny in comparison to the number of residents who live here. Finding a spot on weekends up there is near impossible so I haven't been able to enjoy that amenity very much at all. The on-site fenced dog run is well maintained but VERY small — not a big issue in the summer but it gets crowded in the winter. This is not management's fault but the automatic garage door frequently breaks, leaving residents to have to park their cars wherever they can find on the property (not ideal when paying $200/month for heated parking). I would not feel comfortable leaving my car on the street overnight here.

Sara was our first point of contact with Lakehaus and she helped us with our decision making process. We are here because of her thoughtful work to find the best apartment for us. Love our new place! The location is perfect for all the things we love to do and go to. Move in went well, as Joe helped us with three different time windows, to bring in our things. Jeff came to our recuse when a repair was needed within a hour! Walking distance to Whole Foods, book stores, restaurants and other amenities. Settled in quickly and loving our new place. Mary C

Lakehaus has exceeded our expectations - we looked at a few other apartments and all were dark and just missing character - from the moment we walked in for our tour we knew we wanted to live here. Bright, beautifully designed and appointed and the best amenities. Indoor and outdoor open spaces are fantastic. Never feel closed in. We can walk / run around the many lakes or jump on the bike trail - all just outside the door.

The Lake Haus is premier and a great community for living. The amenities are top notch and a reason for my decision to live here. My lease is renewable in 5 months and even though it is expensive, if I can keep the current contract or close to, there is no question I will remain.

Excellent community. Residents here are so friendly. Makes you feel home. Nearby shopping is convenient. Just minutes walk to the Lake Calhoun. The community is very clean and safe. Excellent living at an affordable price. Strongly recommended for anyone.

Excellent community. Great gourmet free coffee. Extremely friendly neighbors. A lot of greetings and smiles. Very clean and quiet environment. The maintenance staff even comes intibthe apartment once a month to do household cleanup. Make one feel like living worry-free.

Excellent community with free swimming pool, gym and coffee. The space is very well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Tenants are quiet and friendly as well. Enjoy living here. It is wonderful

The Lake Haus is the most well done apartment Ive ever seen! Its high-tech, has a stunning private gym and sauna, complimentary Spyhouse coffee, and a ton of work spaces. The staff are so kind and helpful. 10/10 recommend!
