Starting along the Rouge River and following Michigan Avenue to Greenfield Road, the Henry Ford/Fairlane Town Center is a busy neighborhood, containing both the University of Michigan-Dearborn and the Fairlane Town Center Mall. This neighborhood is on the west side of Dearborn, roughly 10 miles west of Detroit. The Historic Ford Estates is located in the neighborhood, along with the Henry Ford Medical Center, Henry Ford College Dearborn, and the world headquarters of the Ford Motor Company. The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation and Greenfield Village, or just the Henry Ford, is a national landmark district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the nation's largest indoor/outdoor museum, attracting nearly two million visitors a year. Property Ratings at Lake Village of Fairlane
Avoid this community at any cost. They have the worst management and the neighborhood is bad. The maintenance is so bad too and the price is so high for the service provided. Neighbors don’t expect you to walk in the apartment at all and management doesn’t care about any issues you report.
I have enjoyed my 4 years here at Lake Village of Fairlane. The office people as well as my neighbors have always been courteous and respectful. I would recommend this place to a friend.

One of the best apartments to live in, Especially easy for employees who work in Ford. Very well maintained, good amenities and pleasant neighborhood. Drawback: not a gated community, anyone can come in. Bad management, have lost my delivery package twice and have no clue where they kept it!
Lake Village of Fairlane is a wonderful place to call home. I have been residing here for two years and love it. The area is quiet and is accessible to all major freeways. The property is well maintained and the maintenance crew service is fast and efficient. If your looking for a nice place to call home, come and see the beauty that I am speaking about.
Lake Village is an ok place to live. I currently have a 2bd, 2bath. Hwich is enough space. A few things that I am unhappy with is that my truck was broken into, we have security gates but they are always open or broke. Tenants are able to leave there trash in the halls for a number of days which causes it to smell really bad.
