Lake Eden Apartments & Townhomes

New management team, rude and unprofessional. Management team will come in apartment without 24hr notice and also send maintenance in without 24hr notice. They give additional charges out of nowhere. The apartments in the buildings in the back have roaches and bedbugs , they will not let you out of your lease knowing they moved you in with those issues. I have seen several people at the rental office complain over this. The pool days/hours are only when the rental office is open, if it’s even open. Old and outdated the price is fair but not worth the headache or issues.

We love the community and the beautiful apartments surrounding the lake. We needed to move Immediately, VB was helpful in translating into Spanish for us. He was excellent in our same day move in!

Ms. Madison moved us in. She was great. Very friendly and has great energy. Love her! Any questions I had, she answered. Move in process was easy and fast. All staff is very nice and helpful. I just moved in and I already love it. Thank you Ms. Madison for everything!!

Called them about my dishwasher in 519-2 very timely response thought it just needed snaked out come to fi d out the pump went in it. Had a bran new within the very next day the tech had the old one out and new one installed in mins. Left nomessto clean up and didn't even track upmy place. Very topnotch professional.

Ok K IS FABULOUS!!!!! He went way above n beyond when I mentioned my old crappy windows were not safe? K secured them so no one will get in! I was very surprised. K responded to all my requests! Give the guy a RAISE HE IS N ASSET. J fixed my closet door track. THANK YOU SOOOOO VERY MUCH. You surprised me with what u were willing to do to make my home safe and comfy!!!!

Q and Taylor are amazing human beings who truly care for the well-being of their residents, although there is only so much they can do they will try to the best of their ability to resolve any issues you may have. In all honesty had it not been for them things would not be as good as they are for me now. The Staff is really what makes Lake Eden a place to live. It may not be the best looking on the outside, but the staff are what makes it that much better. So, thanks guys! P.S. Don't think about leaving because I will follow you two! ...JK!

I have not had bad experiences but this new group of people in the rental office is considerate and on time they immediately check into you concerns and get it taken care I would refer people to live at this property because they are very attentive to there renters and for people who have lived in apartments before you know your not important only the rent i have no complaints for this company I love my apartment

DO NOT MOVE HERE. In less than a year of living here I've dealt with roaches, rats, and bedbugs. And to make dealing with these things worse, the leasing office is one of the most incompetent and unmotivated you will ever find. Took them months to fix my roach problem, months to fix my rat problem and I still have a bedbug problem. People are constantly smoking in the building stairways and noone from the office does anything about it so expect a bunch of weed smoke to be coming in to your home if you live here. DON'T MOVE HERE

Went here to look at apartments and when I got there their leasing office had a big big red danger sign on the doors with a condemned sign.... I think I'm going to take a hard pass.

I didn’t even get to move in because I was on a waiting list, but all they do is advertise open and/or available now apartments. It’s a joke. The lady was nice but just stop advertising false information, especially if people need to move as soon as possible.

They keep advertising open apartments when they have none. Paid a deposit and was thinking my June 1st move in was a go, but they keep trying to get me into more expensive apartments that do not even have move ins until the middle of July. Over a month past what I was planning. If they keep it up I am going to ask for my deposit back. Do not lie on websites saying you have available apartments when you clearly have none. I am now getting leery even if offered a place if any of it is what they say on the website. Hoping maybe you guys see this and fix the problem of keeping your stuff updated. Stop lying to possible tenants who are just trying to find a place in a timely manner. I have already applied elsewhere because of this. IF I get approved for any of them, I will be pulling out of this apartment complex before I even get an offer to move in.

I tried moving in to these apartments. I got approved, but my move in date was pushed back several times then I received no more communication at all! Never returned my calls or emails so I had to find another place to live. RIDICULOUS!!!

Experience I wish I didn’t go through is staying in one of this complex is a nightmare and will advise anyone who values confort not to even wast their money on this place pls find another because they are more nice and comfortable Apt in Columbus town. Poor management not to say maintenance. They more concern about the money more done the service.????????????????????. This APT don’t even deserve one star.

This place is terrible, i wish i wouldn’t listened to all the people that told me not to live here, they don’t fix anything, office staff is terrible, bugs were in the apartment from the time i moved in, they have hidden fees and they will do anything possible to get extra money out of you! Wish they would tear all the apartments down and make office staff unemployed. So happy my lease is up!!!

When I first moved in, things were okay. Then, I started to have problems. My oven didn’t work AT ALL and it was never fixed, even after asking. Eventually, I gave up. Then, my freezer stopped working, froze shut and a giant ice ball formed inside my fridge. Dishwasher stopped working as well. Then, there was a leak inside the wall. They came in, cut holes in our walls, fixed the leak and never fixed the walls. This happened about a year ago. The office knew about it as well, and didn’t do anything about it. Then, someone on the third floor fell asleep while filling their sink with water to do dishes and the water came crashing down into the apartments below. I live in the very bottom apartment, and the water came into our apartment. Flooded our living room and made the ceiling start to cave. They came and took pictures and said they would get someone to fix it. That happened in June of 2018, and I am writing this review in October of 2018. Then, there was a leak from the apartment above us. In the bathroom. Right above our toilet. We try to use the bathroom, and we get a shower. Maintenance let themselves in, cut a hole in the ceiling and left the debris all over the bathroom and in the sink. Didn’t leave a notice and didn’t send me a message to let me know. The last straw was at the beginning of October 2018 when our bathroom sink was backing up. We called emergency maintenance and they came out and fixed it. A couple days later, my boyfriend and ilI awoke from a nap to find that both our kitchen sink and bathroom sink backed up and flooded over. Called maintenance and they fixed it. The day after, we got a notice that we had 60 days to move. Okay. Whatever. There are bed bugs and roaches all over the place and my car got broken into and I lived in fear that my apartment was going to be broken into. Seriously, don’t move here. It’s not worth it. If you can, find somewhere else to live.

Okay so my wife and I have been living on the property for several months now and i must say I have been pretty disappointed with the maintenance team. We have had several maintenance techs who it seemed like just wanted to clock in be lazy and collect their paycheck. I have even felt at 1 point that oh great we pay our rent on time and we have to deal with nothing ever getting done. Its been a pretty ridiculous experience so far.....That was until 2 maintenance techs have recently been hired LARRY AND DON. I have got to say that it feels like we are having a complete 180 transition. I just spoke with the property manager and the maintenance supervisor and all that i want to say is THANK YOU.. Whomever made the decision to hire these 2 gentlemen i greatly appreciate it. From the moment these 2 gentlemen walked into our home I was a little skeptical, I was thinking oh great now we have another maintenance guy whose going to bull crap the system be lazy and were gonna have to deal with the job not getting done the right way. However that is not what happened at all Larry and Don are very polite, very respectful of our family and our home, and not only have they fixed every maintenance request so far but they also let me and my wife see what they have done. I never thought i would be giving a good review from this place but im glad someone took the time to hire these 2 guys. Whoever hired Larry and Don you made an exceptional decision. I cant thank you enough for bringing these 2 gentlemen on board but what ever you do for the sake of the community, trust, honesty, and respect please do what ever you have to do to keep these 2 guys on your staff. My wife and i were actually considering leaving the premises until these 2 guys came on board and now i feel more comfortable for the sake of my family. I could go in to more detail of all the things that have been wrong in our home but i don't think i need to do that. When i was speaking with the property manager and the maintenance supervisor about our experience with Larry and Don they were both in awe. I will leave this review now with 1 final word. WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE OF PAYROLL GIVE THESE GUYS A RAISE...GOD KNOWS THEY DESERVE IT. Thank you once again for hiring them and giving this place a more comfortable setting.

Don't not attempt to move here.. Nikki, their office worker is rude and ignorant. They'll cut you off and hang up, and don't care about anything. Move only if desperate :'0D aka DON'T!!

Be very careful here. I thought this was a wonderful place to move into, but I was sadly mistaken. I have had a series of set backs this past few months that has pushed me into bankruptcy. Unfortunately I had to go Chapter 13. Well as you know that stops all collection activities even evictions. Well they filed an eviction on 4/19/17 and I filed Chapter 13 on 4/20/17. At that point, I was given an automatic stay and such that comes with filing. Well I will say this, they will try to violate your protection under the bankruptcy code. I am having to fight that now. As to their eviction process/cost: They will try to charge you 315 dollars for their eviction fees. The initial filing fee in Franklin County is an estimated 133.00. So with that being said, the attorney probably charges 100 to 150 dollars for their fees. So do the math yourself and figure it out. As for maintenance issues, well where do I begin. It is hard to get a hold of someone when you need help or report a problem..... Do yourself a favor and not bother. It is a waste of time and money.

Ive lived here for about 6 months now and ive had a great experience so far they are super quick to fix anything, my apartment is in pretty nice condition, the staff at the office is so nice and helpful specially Tiffany i love her so much, nothing but good things to say about this complex i do plan on staying here.

I have been a resident here since April and I love my apartment it is very cozy. I have great neighbors. I love Tiffany in the office she is so nice.

I have been living here for almost a year and I have made this place a home. And when ever I have a problem I can call and that they will be out that day or the next day to fix the problem.

Entire buildings infested with bed bugs where disabled, seniors and children live. Broken Stair railings and no outdoor lighting makes it unsafe. Ceiling falling from prior water damage not taken care of properly. Housing authorities and Lawyers are now involved. Staff unkind and unjust. Also they put kids on 2nd floor apartments making lots of noise. People fear being kicked out if they talk. Owner sucks!

I moved here in June and I have a very nice apartment. The staff is always really nice and Maintenance is also very good. I also have a lot of great neighbors. I usually do not take time to write reviews but I wanted to this time because I am happy I choose Lake Eden to live.

My fiance and I decided to get an apartment for our newly started family. We moved in and everything was great for about a week. Then my fiance starts waking up with bites. We're told it's spiders and they spray, wait a week and now we have bed bugs crawling on our mattress and I'm certain the couches too. We get eaten alive no matter where we sleep. Upon moving in they said that "the carpet was fine so it didn't need replaced just cleaned." My suggestion, spend that extra 50-100 bucks a month to live in a place you can be proud to say is yours. Not one that you have to make excuses as to why to not have anyone over...

If you want to get roaches and bed bugs this is the place for you! Do you want to live somewhere with a gym and a pool you don't get to use? You will love it here at lake Eden. Always wanted a second floor apartment view? You can get that here too, but only if you want to risk your life using the stairs when it rains. And maintanance repairs only take about a month or two to get taken care of. If you move here you will get the opportunity to get your car broken into and anything you have outside stolen. Your laundry will also probably get stolen and you will waste tons of money doing your laundry at the onsite laundry rooms because half the time the dryers don't work. Plus there are plenty of opportunities for your children to be exposed to drug activity, parifinalia, and when they go into grade 7 or higher they get to go to 1 of the worst schools possible.

Lake Eden Apartments if a very affordable complex but you get what you pay for which is,t much. You receive ample living space but the "amenities" are not current or sometimes even functional. They provided us with a dishwasher that was rusted and falling apart and when notified they sent a tech out who tightened a few screws and said I'm good to go. The pool they have is dilapidated and barely ever open due to pump and filter issues. Their was a big pothole problem that after two years they finally did something about. I do not recommend this place to anyone expecting friendly staff and nice facilities.

These have to be one of the worst apartments in columbus!! There mantenhance takes days, weeks even months to fix a problem. Bugs that never got away. We're very clean people and they have bombed/ sprayed 3 or 4 times and there's still issues. The bathroom ceiling is falling and the wood looks molded-in like it's going to collapse completely from the tub above us. I could go on for days but my suggestion is to never even move here you'll be happy you didn't

So far we have had no problems. The office staff have been nice and helpful. A lot of my friends that I work with live in the same complex which is nice. My son likes the pound and to see the ducks.

Good central location. Close to good schools and shopping. Maintenance is very responsive to calls and has fixed all problems in a timely manner. Good size bedrooms.

I am looking to move soon. Lake Eden is one of the top places on my list. They seem nice and are in the area I am looking to go. Just hope they have a place when I am ready. Thank You

This place is a joke...it took almost all day to get hot water for my wife and little girl. The office staff is more of a button pusher because they don't help just upset you...anytime you need something fixed,.good luck... I would advise everyone to stay away from this place!

You cant beat their prices, they have a clean environment, nice staff, and the apartments have so much room! Never had any problems, maybe a little noise but thats it. I recommend to anyone
