Northlake is a small residential neighborhood about six miles west of Downtown San Jose. If you’re looking for plenty of amenities close to home. Along with restaurants, grocers, and stores located along Saratoga Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard, Northlake is near several large shopping centers including Westfield Valley Fair Mall and Santana Row, a high-end mall with upscale eateries, designer brands, chic bars, a movie theater, and more. Property Ratings at La Terraza
The biggest selling point is the location. The property is nicely maintained especially considering the age of the buildings. You will not find upgraded features in the apartments, but they are comfortable. The outdoor storage closet is helpful with keeping seasonal decorations, luggage and cleaning projects.
This place was home for us for the past 3 years and we enjoyed every bit of living here. The maintenance team is exceptional and the leasing office staff are very helpful. The amenities and the complex is extremely clean and well maintained.

Move in process was super easy when we first moved in three years ago. We lived an hour away and Hannah sent us pictures because we couldn’t make it out to see the apartment with our schedules. We also had to move pretty fast because of job relocation and they took the stress away from finding a place. My dogs love their dog park and very safe to walk them at night. Apartments are also very quiet which I love because I’m a light sleeper.

I wish I knew prior to moving in just how many dog lovers are living in the community. The tenant directly above me has very bizarre hours to take his dog out, which is between one and two in the morning. It’s quite disruptive hearing him go up and down the stairs and then playing with his dog upstairs because he has a fairly large dog.

La Terraza is a great place to live. Great management and staff. Very communicative with necessary updates about the property. Respond quickly to maintenance issues. Beautiful well kept courtyards, lots of trees, bushes and flowers. Quiet neighbors. Pet friendly. Been here two years and I'd recommend it for sure.

Excellent apartment complex. Quite, beautiful pathways and gardens, which are well kept. Quiet. Perfectly located. I moved into new kitchen appliances, stacked washer/dryer, a gas fireplace and beautiful balcony with entrances from the living room and bedroom.

Overall, my experience at La Terazza has been a decent one. The location is great—close to the 280, which makes getting around really convenient. The apartments themselves are spacious and well-designed, with modern finishes that give a comfortable, homey feel. I especially appreciate the ample natural light and storage space.

The new gym equipment is amazing! Staff are friendly and maintenance is fast! Living here is quiet and all the trees make it not feel like other apartments that are just cement boxes.

La Terraza is a good community to live in. The staff are really nice and helpful. The location is great and close to a lot of food choices and even the mall. It would be nice to have an upgrade on the community amenities but over all they are good.

The overall QUALITY of the apartment: - Runs, drips, and debris on the painted services especially the doors & trim. - Overspray (paint) on the laminate floor throughout the apartment. - All the hardware for doors and cabinets were painted over. - The are several repairs to the sheet rock & doors that looks like an 8 year did the patch work. - Fit & Finish of the kitchen: Dish washer & Kitchen faucet (maintenance was out to look at faucet before I moved in, but said he can't do anything about it.) - The light switches for the Kitchen, Closet, and Vanity are not in convenient locations. You would normally see a light switch at the entry of a room and not have to walk into that room (without light) to try and find the switch. On top of that, the light switch in the kitchen is by the sink which also has the switch for the garbage disposal. I nearly have a heart attack once a week when i hit the wrong switch. - The switched outlets (living room & bedroom) are linked to the closest outlet to the switch (1-2 feet from switch). You can just turn on the lamp manually have the rest of the out to use for other things. Why are both plugs on the outlet connected to the switch? should have 1 connected to switch (for light) and one plug always live (to run your tv or what not). - The WORSE part about this place are all the bugs (roaches, etc). All those other items didn't bother me much until the roaches and other bugs (but especially the roaches).
La Terraza has been my home for the past year, and I cannot express enough how exceptional my living experience has been. The apartments themselves are exquisite, boasting a contemporary design with spacious layouts. It's evident that care has been taken to maintain the apartments, as they still feel new even after extended occupancy. The community offers an impressive range of amenities that truly enhance the living experience. The fitness center and the serene pool area provide a tranquil retreat to unwind and recharge. The beautifully landscaped walking trails offer a refreshing escape from city life. The customer service at La Terraza is unmatched. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to address any concerns promptly and efficiently. Maintenance requests are handled with utmost professionalism, ensuring a hassle-free living experience.
I have lived here for over 4 years and been happy enough but things are much improved under new manager. And maintenance has always rocked it! Comfortable, attractive, peaceful, fun!

We just completing 2 weeks at La Terraza. We are still new to community. Service team and leasing office people are very supportive and helpful. Very quiet place and good sun light.
La Terraza would be an okay place to live if in the "Flats" the insulation between floors was more structurally sound proof. I can hear the tenants above walking around so clearly, and I've never experienced that in other properties I have lived in.
An overall quiet place to live as it relates to the grounds of the complex which is good.
La terraza is a very good apartment to live in. Very comfortable.
I highly recommend La Terraza. As expensive as rent is in the Bay Area, they will work with you to provide the best rental rate and quality of apartment you could possibly get anywhere in the Silicon Valley.
Living at La Terraza is a great experience. For the price and what you get, it is very hard to beat. Management is great, maintenance is often available, and the employees here are easy going. Lucky to have this place
Moving here was the best choice for my family. The amenities are amazing for an apartment, the quietness of the complex and the friendships made here really resin with our family. Its only been a couple weeks but we feel like this is really a place we can call home.

Move because of work, and found an excellent and affordable option, plenty of space for a two-bedroom apartment, and services included with the rent. Most of the process can be done online and Anthony and Heidy were great helping to decide!
Very nice apartments super close to the freeway. The numbers on the buildings are kind of difficult to find, which makes it difficult for delivery people, but sometimes residents are nice enough to bring you your package. Overall a decent experience.
Anthony and all from front office are great, responsive, kind and professional. The problem in La Terraza are: Incredibly old home appliances - Security company: not present - doesnt work - useless) - Tow company - useless, unprepared, poor, non sense, unable of deal with simple tasks.
