The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at La Cuesta Apartments
I lived at La Questa for a year in unit 35 and it was decent for the most part however, upon move out, I was nickel and dimed by the property managers Eric and Rose. Prior to move in, the carpet in my unit was supposed to be replaced due to the previous tenant smoking hookah in it causing coal burns. While on the road driving 1700 miles to move to SD, I was informed that the carpet was going to only be cleaned and replaced. I was furious upon arrival considering there were burns and also a strong stench coming from the carpet however, my plan was to only stay in the 1 bedroom until they had a 2 bedroom unit come available so I didnt make a big deal about it and thought at least I wont be charged for carpet cleaning once a 2 bedroom comes available. Fast forward a year and I had to move to another location because a 2 bedroom never became available and I was sick of not feeling comfortable having guests over due to the embarrassing stench in the carpet . Upon move out, I spent an entire day cleaning an already tidy apartment (as I am extremely clean) and went so far as washing the walls. The leasing manager Lori did a move out inspection and noted that the apartment was extremely clean and advised that the only issue was with drip pans and a couple of crumbs in the kitchen. When my deposit is mailed back to me, not only did they charge me $50 for the "crumbs" they also charged me $79 for carpet cleaning and noted dirty carpet at door (the way the door is installed, it drags on the carpet which I am unable to avoid) and for dark spots on the carpet that were there prior to me moving in. As a tenant that caused no issues while there, was never late on rent and in many cases paid early, I am extremely disappointed by how the property management company Warwick and Sutton withholds deposits and they should really be ashamed of themselves. If you're needing somewhere affordable to stay, units are decent but dont expect to see your deposit back.
Don’t even consider renting here, crime neighborhood, cars get breaking in all the time even while parked in the apartment dedicated lot. Management doesn’t care about you, they would do things without letting you know, also they would up your rent every year $100. Stay away , there are better options in the area
This is my first apartment while living away from my parents in college. It is very close to my school's campus and located near a variety of convenient stores and freeways. The management team is very communicative and the property is VERY well kept. The layout is also very spacious and it makes me feel like this is not just a temporary home. The closets are HUGE (It fits ALL of my clothes and has a nice shelf for my shoes). I enjoy living here, it is a great place for anyone to live whether you are in college, starting a family or new to the city of San Diego!
