Kensington Square Apartments

I really like it here at Kensington, my apartment is decent and the complex has had some upgrades recently such as adding a gym and I love being close to the park and shopping.

To hard to get into when you clearly make the money

if you call and have more then 3 questions they will get an attitude with you. They are not informative and every time you ask a question their response is trying to get you to come in for an appointment. They don't want to inform you where the units are that are available. If I am disable certain units will not work and do not want to come in and waste nobody time looking at something that is not disable friendly. it seem like they just getting you in and do not care about your concerns and possible disability.

I’ve been living here for 3 years now. Last summer of 2023 I started to see roaches. No roaches until a new tenant came. I understand that’s not their fault but they still have to do something about it before it gets out of hand. I told them multiple times about this issue and they don’t do anything. My neighbors have trash sitting on her patio. It’s unsanitary and looks disgraceful. I told them about it and no changes. It’s just time for me to go. This place is getting bad.

No matter how “enjoyable” it may look it’s not what it seems. It’s not worth the price. The “remodeled” version they are trying to sell is trash. The staff don’t care about anything except getting the rent. I hope nothing breaks because it’s a hassle getting things “fixed” or replaced. They could really care less about anything going on around this complex and to be honest it’s probably only safer due to it being right. Across the way from the police station. The location may be the only plus as it’s close to lots of things but outside of that pass.

Although the buildings are a bit outdated on the outside, the insides are spacious! Maintenance comes within 24-48 hours whenever I've put a request. All the ladies in the office is attentive, calls are always answered, honestly its a great place to live.

One of the worst apartments I’ve ever stayed in. We where told we would have central air, but my air was out multiple times every week leaving my house at 84 degrees and higher every week. Maintenance came multiple times a week claiming to fix it but it still wouldn’t work after nearly a month of it not working it finally works but because of that my electric bill is over $270 since they couldn’t fix it correct the first time. Management won’t do anything about it even though the air conditioning unit is out dated and if they would have fixed it the right way the first time or replaced it I wouldn’t have gone through those issues. The apartments are very outdated the floors aren’t leveled and when you walk on it it’s like they have dents in the floor that they used carpet to cover up, you can see water damage in the ceiling. If you can find better please do because this place is not worth the price especially for how outdated it is and the recent car break ins and gunshots outside this summer the area ain’t worth it either. I’ve only been here 2 months and regret signing that lease cuz I don’t see it getting any better.

I was a previous tenant w/ Kensington Apts. for three years and my stay there was superb! Maintenance was always prompt on fixing things when called and Bethany (the leasing manager) was always very nice and helpful. Any issues I had she worked them out with me. Definitely recommend, especially like the new updates they have made to some units.

Literally the worst place I had ever lived. Once the new management company took over, everything went down hill. Especially when the got the new manager and asst. Manager. And the pictures with furniture, it's all fake. The inside looks absolutely nothing like it. Do not rent here. Only putting one star because I can't out 0.

My air condition always goes out when it gets hot, every year in my apartment. Recently it went out & I have been with out air in 90 degree weather for a week now ..with my infant child running a fever. This is ridiculous.

i normally don’t write reviews but i feel like it is important for ppl to know how great this community is. this is my second year here and i love it. Everyone is nice and respectful. Hardly ever any noise. It’s is a pet community and plenty of walkers and bikers in the morning and sometimes in the evening. There is a nearby park within walking distance. i take my son there almost every other day when it’s warmer out. i literally love it her. The leasing office is helpful and understanding. i’ve only had to call maintenance a couple of times and whenever i did they were quick and efficient, very nice people. I have not gotten any bad vibes since i’ve been here!!!

It’s a quiet place to live. Maintenance and office staff are very friendly and helpful.

I have been at Kensington for a year now and it’s a very quiet complex. Nice neighbors and have not had many issues. Always get a response from the office and maintenance respond in a timely manner which I appreciate!

Kensington use to be one of the best communities in north county. In the past two years the prices have raised tremendously but the value has not been upgraded. From my experience the maintenance team does not like to come after hours and they show up with a negative attitude and barely get the job done. There is only one guy on the maintenance team who I have had great rapport with and he has been here since the building opened. The prices listed on this website are no longer accurate.

Kensington Sqaure Apartments is by far the best apartment complex in north county. We lived here for 6 years and leaving was really hard. The prices are super reasonable and there are never huge increases at lease renewal time. All the girls in the office are super nice and helpful and maintenance is fast and efficient. We only moved because we bought a house; if that wasn't the case we would still live at Kensington. If your're looking for for an affordable, well kept property to call home, this place won't disappoint.

Went to look at some options for apartments. Rachel took her time and explained everything thoroughly on all of them even though it was on one our coldest days of the year. She was kind and out of any apartments I had viewed she by far has given me the best experience! Thank you! This is on my top choices for a place to move into!

Management is horrible. The women in the office are disrespectful and they take there time to respond to messages. It’s infested with bugs, the walls are so thin, it’s overpriced with old appliances. My dishwasher was disgusting. I complained for 3 weeks before they replaced it. They’ll find anything not to give your your deposit back. I wouldn’t recommend anybody to move here.

Had mice twice .. and moved out after that... don’t move here

I live in a smoke box. The people in my building smoke everywhere and i do mean everywhere. They leave ashes on the steps and cigarettes butts on the front. My apartment smell like i smoke a box a day and it’s so bad it’s in my clothes and bags. When i called in about they could not do anything about I DO NOT RECOMMEND NO ONE MOVING IN HERE

Decent place to live aside from the upcoming 10 day 'mandatory inspection' window during which I have zero expectation to privacy. We will be given no notice before their 'team' shows up at my door and blows through my personal space to snoop around. Fun.

The maintenance crew are rude. They barge in your home whenever they feel like it. When they come to "fix" things they always leave my door unlocked and always leave my window blinds up for the whole parking lot to look through. I complained about wasp entering through the screen door in the living room more than 5x in 1 week. What did they do, nothing! The windows are not insulated. So it's always cold regardless if you have the heat temperature on 80 .

When I first moved into this apartment complex everything was all good. Tenants were quiet, management was great and very responsive. Then in the last few years new tenants have moved in that are loud and obnoxious and complaints to management have come on deaf ears. Then My car got a flat tire and 2 days later without any notice to me from management they had my car towed and I had to come 380 dollars out of pocket to get it back. So am not pleased with the way its going now. Rent is cheaper than a lot of places around the area but u get what u pay for I guess

Nice apartments. A friendly, helpful staff. Maintenance technicians are knowledgeable and trustworthy. I'm entering my 12th year here in this apartment and everything works. I'm happy here.

I rent a two bedroom apartment here at Kensington Square Apartments. The best part of this apartment is the living room and the master bedroom. Both feel large and very spacey. I have a couch, love seat, and a medium round table and their is still room in the living room for an overnight guests, like my sister and my 7 year old niece. My master bedroom feels like a good size space for a single woman so i think these 2 bedrooms are great for a single parent with 1 child. The two pools for the complex are really wonderful as well. However, if you are well endowed in the behind department, you should NOT rent this apartment. There is so little room on either side on the toilet between it and the tub and sink/cabinet that is makes sitting and using the facilities very difficult. One more note the stove is really old and gets going like an old man in the morning. Overall, OK spot for the monthly rent.

Kensington Square is at a great price. Maintenance is fast & done the right way. There are two swimming pools & the grounds are well kept. the staff is very friendly & You can get anywhere in St. Louis, Mo., within so many minutes. I love my place. Connie F. Florissant, MO.

I have lived here for several years now and I have very few complaints. Maintenance is quick, I do have things break every now and then (my a/c went out last year) but they are quick to repair. The place isn't brand new so some of the things are older but my rent is really great priced so I can't complain about that either. The girls in the office always know who I am and they accept my packages, so over all very happy here.

I thought that these apartments would be great when i moved here a few months prior, thank the lord for a 6 month lease, maintenance is quick but they only do patch work, the leasing office is very unorganized. I have already been apartment shopping since month # 2 that I have lived here

The apartment is great and the staff is amazing everyone there is so helpful. I will recommend to all my friends. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
