Property Ratings at Keeler's Corner
I do not recommend living here. I moved here and I am immediately leaving due to the major issues going on at this property. I am not sure if there are multiple families living in one unit or if the property did not accomodate the parking spaces for the amount of units here, but the parking space is a nightmare! Around 6pm or sooner (depending on the day) you will not be able to find a parking space unless you are able to reserve their limited reserved space (both carport and non-carport is reserved). It is a major issue with people speeding around looking for parking spaces and fighting over a space. I have never lived in a property with such poor parking (even in Seattle!). Coming home from work, needing to drop by the grocery, or briefly leaving your home will result in someone taking your spot (unless you get a chance to reserve a space, but reserved spaces will be far from your home...). On top of the parking issue, they have exorbitant amendment fees and valet trash fees. The valet trash has been coming on and off (trash everywhere) and you have to email them, but they will not respond if you ask for reimbursement for all they days they don't ever come to pick-up. The actual dumpster locations consistently are filled with piles of trash and not a week goes by where I don't see someone's furniture trash piling over. You cannot access the trash location unless you walk over mounds of trash so you have to try to throw it in. Everyone just starts throwing trash over a mound that is not even in the dumpster. Every night, I see 4-5 raccoons roaming the property because there is just so much open trash. The large windows and slide door become a pain to manage (everyone sees inside your home unless you want ot pay for all the shading and fixing the old blinds). The large windows are hard to open and close (frequently gets stuck even with oil). The blinds on the slide door are so old they break off with the normal movement. The insulation (if any) is poor and you can hear everything. When it rains, pine cones and other debris are scattered throughout the property and I've fallen. It makes me wonder if they clean out the gutters. I also noticed that there are openinges on the roof where birds and other animals enter. I am sad to say this place is terrible. The cabana looks nice, but is it worth parking on the street cause you cannot find a parking space after dropping by the grocery store? No.

Towed my car while I was home, even though I had a parking sticker and the car was registered in their system. Didn't bother trying to call me first, just towed it. Cost me $700 to get it out. They did nothing to compensate me, only offered me an insincere apology. There are over $200 a month in unadvertised fees above the ridiculously high rent. Don't bother.

The management ask tenant to pay EVERYTHING they do to clean the apartment. They pay ZERO dollars and ask you to pay EVERYTHING to get ready to rent again. Their office will push your question to their billing department. That department will admit they are getting you to pay for everything due to their leasing office peers, but you gonna pay for it otherwise they threaten to put you to collection agency. The management company is called Avenue5 Residential. STAY AWAY from any apartment managed by this property management company in Seattle!

Do not be blind by their one time discount or deal, because they will get the money back when you leave there. The worst management that I have ever experienced. This is the worst apartment i have ever lived at. Rats everywhere, spiders and bug infestation. Over priced units. Very old and dated. Not worth it. Staff are no help when there is a problem. Do not rent here.

I lived here for about a year. When first moving in the staff were adequate, no huge complaints. The apartment itself was pretty beat up but that was expected so no complaints there. Parking is horrible and it cost $45 to get your own parking spot.They put in a new rule where guests have to have a guest pass to park which is a nuisance and you have to get it during the time they are open or your friend gets towed. I received upstairs neighbors six months in who had a child. This child would run, jump and scream at all hours of the night. The ceilings are very very thing.I complained four separate times to management, who told me they had spoken to the neighbors. Nothing changed. I moved at the end of my lease because they raised rent by $100, which was expected.I am a very clean person and only lived alone so when I moved out I DEEP CLEANED this apartment.They contact me 3 days after my lease was over informing me of what I owed them. The cleaning fee was $145! When asked for what they said I got charged a full cleaning price but they only cleaned my stove and one bathroom. They couldn't prove that I caused the stains in the bathroom, which were there when I moved in. I have pictures. They tried to charge me for "normal wear and tear", which the lease states they don't charge for "normal wear and tear".We were able to negotiate a lower price so I was going to let it go but then they lied about how I could pay. The options presented to me were online, check and money order.When I tried to pay online they informed me I never could which is a complete 180 from what I was told two weeks earlier. Now I have to pay an extra fee to either get a money order or purchase checks.Moral of this story: The management staff lies and tries to take you for all your money when you move out.

do not move here if you value your safety and your families safety. lived here for over 6 months and nothing but terrifying experiences. The management REFUSES to do anything to keep the residents safe. Crack pipes found in the street, guns going off in the middle of the night, drug deals in the open, people fighting and beating each other up in apartments, SHERIFFS makin house calls all hours of the day. You will not see this when you tour it. We did not. But just stop and ask anyone who resides here. The reviews you see here are ALL FAKE AND PAID FOR. WHY DO YOU THINK THERE ARE SO MANY OPEN APARTMENTS? People are so scared they are now moving out during the middle of the week everyday, we used to just see it on weekends. Just saw tonight a woman in the parking lot drunk driving and hit 2 parked cars then drive off....I called the sheriff and it took them over 2hours to respond and they could have cared less....Does this sound like a place you want to have a family and settle down?

I love living in this complex. Despite our close proximity to the highway, we feel hidden among the trees in our quiet, comfortable ground floor apartment. The highway actually works out well in our favor - I'm just steps away from the stop for my ride to downtown Seattle every morning! The grounds are well kept, and the amenities are wonderful. I love our kind, accommodating management team, indoor and outdoor pool, and fitness facility. I would recommend Keeler's Corner to anyone! I hope that we can stay here until my husband finishes nursing school.
