Northside is one of the oldest and largest neighborhoods in Syracuse. This sprawling neighborhood has multiple parks and is best known for its incredible collection of international restaurants and grocers, especially in Little Italy Syracuse. Northside is also known for its affordability. The neighborhood has rental options for every budget and style including high-rise apartments, lofts, luxury condos, and single-family houses. Attracting even more renters, Northside is about two miles away from Downtown Syracuse, Syracuse University, and Lakefront, a trendy neighborhood along Onondaga Lake. Residents have access to Interstate 690 and Route 11, so traveling across Syracuse is made easy.

Property Ratings at Kasson Place
Absolutely enjoyed living here. I unfortunately did not renew my rent due to roommates deciding to go their separate ways and I want to move back to the suburbs. (Living in the city is just not for me personally). But I had no problems at all with this place. Only needed maintenance once to replace a battery in the smoke alarm in my bedroom. He showed up within a couple of hours and fixed it in no time! I live in the older building at 622 but everything has been remodeled within the past 5 years or so. They even have an elevator as well if you end up at this building. Very safe with a key fob required to even enter the building. Even the laundry facilities require your key fob to enter. Speaking of laundry, it's only 1.75 a load and you pay with a chip card that you just reload with cash! Lisa the landlord is amazing! Very polite and always there if needed! Always see the maintenance guys around the building and they're always very nice and polite. We are on the 6th floor with a balcony overlooking 81, 690 and the Dome which is just an extra bonus. The only issue I have is the parking. There's never really enough spots for all the tenants and parking in other spots such as handicap or by the dumpster can end up with you receiving a warning or parking ticket thanks to being in the city or even another tenant yelling at you for parking by the dumpster for only a few min to bring down multiple bags for going out of town lol. The only thing I would suggest they change is maybe have two handicap spots (there's only one person that currently parks there and the handicap section is so big) and make the rest of the area more regular spots. But I would highly suggest this place if it's in your price range. Thank you Lisa for my pleasant stay at Kasson this past year!! I hope my next landlord is as great as you!!
