We love it here. It’s everything a community is supposed to be. Beautiful amazing views the beach u can see diamond head Waikiki all of the navy ships submarines everything. My son’s school is walking distance from our house literally 5 minutes away.
Airplane noise is a big concern I will not recommrnd this place.
Like living here due to amenities and friendly staff & neighbors. Would upgrade to 'love living here' if any rules, laws, or community policies were enforced.
I would like to thank Gina who really took care of me as I just arrived from Germany. I am looking forward to moon to the community for the next couple of years.
So far so good! I haven’t had any super bad experiences since I moved here…nothing that will cause me to move. Best deal so far here in Hawaii. Hoping my family can stay for years to come if the price permits us.

There is a lot of space. Having access to the beach, pool and all play grounds for the kids is an A . So far, really enjoying the place and so as our kids.

We love the community Kapilina provides. Best place on island to raise a family. Great amenities for adults & active children who enjoy playing outside. Great for parks, beaches & ocean sports. Sense of community who care about each other. Farmer's Market, nice café & small bar with outside seating with ocean view. Live music once a week & active community interests with activities held in the grass area by café. A great place for families.

Neighbors are nice and the neighborhood is quiet. Kids playing and people walking their dogs. 10/10 experience so far. The beach is the best part for sure. The beach chairs could use some updating but no complaints.

The overall experience at Kapilina over the past year, has been pretty excellent. Maintenance issues however, are falling very short and disappointing. Management team is very helpful, but should take a closer look at the maintenance crew’s ability, performance and professionalism.

Excellent amenities, just a little far from everything else. Although the privacy is nice. Like the Wednesday food trucks and crafters. Dlish concession is good also, although it would be nice if they were open more often.

Very grateful to have this opportunity to stay here. Great community. From the entrance to the beach, it is relaxing to see houses with beautiful features of everything growing along side the road and in between the houses are beautiful native trees providing canopy shade. I would highly recommend this community for those who are seeking to have good times and experiences at the beach. Prolly the beach is the main attraction in this place. You can stay all day at the beach.

This was an amazing place to live, the community itself is great, everyone is friendly but did notice some questionable people started moving in and crime has picked up a bit but management has been non responsive and we feel ignored. We pay good money living here and take good care of our property and the amenities, we follow the rules and dont create any issues and this would be an amazing community if we felt supported by Management.

Haven't really had any major issues but just the communication with the office and resident manager that needs to have some improvement. They need to respond promptly to emails and answer the phones when calling the office. We shouldn't have to always go in to ask our questions.

It’s been great very convenient for me and my family. The staff is great and I like that I can go to the beach and relax and walking distance. I like the gym and pool and splash pad
I will not recommend Kapilina because of the airplane noise.
Such a well organized community and we just enjoy it!!
We had to track down the keys to get into the apartment. Once we got to the apartment there was trash everywhere outside the apartment. The inside was nice but needed a bunch of work. Maintenance did a great job fixing the issues we had.
Super dirty home at move in. Lease started on July 24th. Leasing office knew we would not be moving in until August 1. Upon arrival at home place was super disgusting. Floors were never cleaned, counters were dirty, lizard poop everywhere. Just bad. We called to notify them and they didn’t try to make it better. Still having issues with termites etc.

Kapilina is a Very safe and Beautiful place to Call Home. From the front gate to the beaches everything is well kept and beautiful. The Staff from the leasing office to the maintenance are all so kind.

Great employee relationships ( leasing office, maintenance team, etc) with us as community members. Utility charges seem out of alignment for many of the residents. We had a plumbing issue at our unit. The maintenance team was great and quick to respond. They elevated the issue for a more long term solution. No follow up from corporate level.

I have lived on property for 15 years! Maintenance, office staff all are friendly, and efficient! No major concerns about living here. It’s safe with lots to do here.

Since I came here, 2 years ago, the situation get worster. Only few family cares about the community. A lot of peopole dont respect the rules and the managment doesnt take care.

Finding a home and moving into Kapilina was very smooth and easy to do. We felt like our application and time was handled as a priority, and it was very quick and easy to sign a lease. If needing to move quickly and easy, Kapilina is a great choice. The community has a strong bond and the amenities are great!

Well…For as old as this whole community is, it is holding up very well. I like the attention and care that is being shown to this whole property. Management and staff takes good care of this property. Everyone seems to show a lot of respect to this property. I also like the idea of having “D’lish” on the property. The location is perfect, the staff there is wonderful, the “Live” entertainment is great. The whole beach vibe is very relaxing. Being a Veteran and retired from the corporate world, this is a great place to be. Please…Keep Up The Good Work !

I just moved in and recently went to the pool and the onsite gym and it was clean and very comfortable. However I’m still waiting on my work orders to be completed. Everyone has been very helpful and professional.

Living here is challenging. Houses are old and have issues. Kids run through the neighborhood often on e-bikes with no boundaries near people’s home and cars. Disappointed as the complex has some really nice features.

Neighborhood and amenities are good .. houses are outdated for the price .. all doors and windows leak exterior air into the house which makes the ac units run non stop

Kapailina is a wonderful place to live, especially if you enjoy fresh fruit as there are many delicious trees around the lot. Ohana living at its finest!!!
