Great community around the area and a fitness center. Maintenance response quickly to service requests, typically within 24 hours. One down side is the pricy water charge, nearly doubles what the city would normally charge you.

Great apartment to live very convenient to get to the orange line. Many restaurants in walking distance and a grocery practically across the street! I’ve lived here for two years and would stay if I wasn’t moving out of state.

J malden is an excelled place to live in. So vibrsant and near by to T station. Plenty of resturnats nearby and CVS and Stop and shop is also close by.

It was great until people started accusing me of stealing packages and not talking to me about it also just assuming the worst of me. Now I have the headache of having to go to court and possibly be charged with a felony over assumptions and poor communication. This is something that would've been solved easily had the leasing office/Manager just come to speak to me. She would've known I received a package that day and had multiple pieces of proof to show that. But I guess discrimination really is a thing unfortunately because if i had been a white man in a suit and tie I bet communication to me would have happened first instead of being quick to point fingers. Also not to mention some other tenant has all my Information now and knows what I look like and I have no idea who this other tenant is which makes me extremely uncomfortable. Wish my privacy had been respected.
A distinctive complex, respectful people, a clean place, and excellent management. I enjoyed living in this wonderful complex very much, and I advise only sophisticated people to live here, and the distinguished ones. If you are looking for that

Relatively good apartment with a reasonable price (consider the price in Boston). However, the soundproofing is not good enough and we can always hear noises upstairs.
This apartment is great and the neighborhood is awesome. The only downside is that the garbage collecting truck comes every morning and makes loud noise that wakes me up every time. Also there has been a frequent false fire alarm recently. Overall I like living here

Overall, very fine establishment with great amenities. The maintenance seems a bit slow, especially in common areas, and there is evidence of cost-cutting here and there (despite the price of rent). Great place to live in style without buying your own place.

Nice apartment with nice office people! Office people were kind from the day we came in for tour. Apartment itself is really clean and the common place as well

Pros: Close to the T; common area is nice; The ventilation in the unit is bad. If you cook, the smell stays for a whole day. Which is BAD. The management team is dysfunctional and very very mean My AC was not working and I didn’t know until 7 months later. I sent a maintenance request and they fix it but keep my AC running for 30 days when I was out of town. Later I got a big bill from national grids.

I enjoy residing at J Malden! They have a pool, a lot of common space, ping pong, study space, and a gym. Convenient to the train station and a lot of food places.

We are extremely happy with our transition and move to Malden. Michael in the Leasing Office was absolutely amazing to work with. He walked us through everything that we need to know and followed up via email quickly. The apartment has amazing amenities and fantastic location. We had an issue with our parking, but Michael was quick to resolve it and make it right. Moving in is always so much work, but we felt very accommodated here.

Very friendly staff, amazing amenities and fun events each month! Can’t beat having access to a pool and gym. Nearby great restaurants and easy train access to Boston. It’s nice having in unit laundry and a lot of windows for sunlight.

I feel that the check-in experience has been very good in the past month. The people here are also very kind. The activity area on the second floor is very comfortable and the space is super large.

The amenity space is always kept clean and well-maintained. The rooms are in good shape, and generally the appliances work well. However, the dishwashers are somewhat ineffective. The property staff are very respectful and effective. We had a water damage incident and they were prompt about moving us out and doing repairs.

Management/leasing and staffs are very nice, wonderful and accommodating. Building is surrounded by restaurants, stores, and walking distance to Stop & Shop grocery. Amenities are wonderful and very useful. Location is good, accessible to public transportation.

Nice location with good neighborhood. Close to T-station (Orange line). Very nice amenities. Rent is bit high. Water and sewer charges not included in the monthly rent.
Its been a pleasure living in J Malden. We are really enjoying the grill facility and swimming pool during this summer season. I would like to mention that focus area is really nice considering I have a 8 month old at home.

Service elevator is slightly far from the building we stay in, but the management gave us trolleys that made moving easier! Amenities are good. Location is great!

It's great can't believe I live here. Feel like I live at a hotel living the suite life of Zack and Cody. I love being able to take a step out of my apartment and being able to WFH in a designated area. If you WFH this is a great place to choose to live as there are many amenities that support those that work from home.

The location is good. Just a 2-min walk to Malden Center MBTA station. It is very convenient for me to go to work. There is a nice swimming pool! Love it.!

Clean, safe, and convenient - we really enjoy living here! However, taking a star off because our packages always seem to say delivered but we don’t actually get to pick up our packages a day or two later.

Great! I love it here. I love all the amenities available. My two favorite ones are the gym and pool area. Everyone is friendly. We are going on our 4 year living here and it is wonderful.

The overall experience is good. Service requests are quickly solved and environment is good. Utilities costs are too high, water and sewer cost way more than other areas.

overall the apt is okay for the price. but the trash room is smelling sometimes. I hope the management could get more frequent cleaning for it.

Great amenities, location is great for metro commuters. The neighborhood is safe and there are a few stores around but not too many. I like my apartment, the only thing is that I have a sensitive nose and sometimes pick up on smells like smoke which is aggravating, other than that no real complaints about the space and amenities. Staff is also very friendly.
