As one of the oldest cities in the United States west of the Appalachians, Cincinnati offers residents contemporary urban living in a historic, distinctive setting. One of the oldest cities in the US houses an influential youth culture. Students, professionals, artists, and musicians of all walks of life come to the southwest corner of Ohio to live and work. College and professional sports are wildly popular, with the Bearcats of the University of Cincinnati, the Reds, and the Bengals enjoying huge fan bases in their hometown.
Renters and visitors alike will delight in attractions like the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Newport Aquarium, and the city’s iconic zoo. The annual Oktoberfest is one of the biggest celebrations of its kind outside of Munich, drawing thousands to the streets to celebrate the city’s German heritage.

Property Ratings at Ivy Hills Living Spaces
I have been a resident here for 5 years and it is a great place to live. The new management is much better and they have really done a good job with maintenance, amenity upgrades, renovations, and overall management of the complex. Definitely recommend!

The amenities are nice and new. The community living here is nice and fun to talk with while hanging out at the pool (which is always clean). Our apartment is amazing and we have not had any issues while living here. Maintenance has been quick to help with any order and they have been respectful and nice to talk with as well (very friendly and understanding). A great place to live as a younger adult who doesn't want to be right in the city.

We are so grateful for your review. Thanks for sharing your rating with us and the community.
I drove through the community earlier this year and I recently drove though as I am selling my house and looking for an apartment community to live in. I was surprised how it’s changed in 9 months. They are making beautiful and updated improvements. I spoke to a staff member and they were pleasant and extremely helpful.

I sent a request for a replacement dryer on July 23, 2020 at 11:00 am. At noon, we had a replacement dryer and Troy and John both apologized for my inconvenience. In addition, they clean up any messes as they perform their work. I am very pleased with their workmanship. They both have impeccable manners and are very friendly. Thank you to Troy and John for their hard work. I am a satisfied resident!
We moved here approximately two months ago and have been extremely impressed with the maintenance team. Troy and (John?) are timely, responsive and good guys that address any concerns you may have.

I love living here! The community is great - very quiet and clean area. The location is also great. We are close to Columbia Parkway and 32 for quick highway access and quick access to Beechmont Avenue and Mariemont. Also walking distance to the Village of Newton where there are great places to eat. Maintenance responds quick and always goes above and beyond when fixing things.

Ivy Hills Place recently came under new management, they have been so kind and proactive about maintenance needs. The property already looks so much better and I couldn't be happier. The improvements they are making, make this place feel a little more like home!

We recently downsized from a large home to one of the very nice townhomes at Ivy Hills Place and couldn't be happier. The community is clean, quiet and well maintained. The maintenance team is fantastic. We have only had a couple minor maintenance requests and they came the same day. Megan is the property manager and she is the best. She is friendly, professional and very responsive. You can tell she cares about the residents here. For example, they did some very nice family Easter and resident appreciation activities within the last couple weeks. We feel very much at home in a short amount of time at Ivy Hills Place and highly recommend.

Thank you for the awesome review! We are so happy you enjoy living at Ivy Hills.
I lived in the Ivy Hills Apartments (IHA) for one year and it was far and away the best apartment experience I've had. Full disclosure, I just moved out, but entirely because of employer proximity (my employer is located on the west side). If there were an Ivy Hills-West, I'd be living there! To me, especially reading reviews, negatives carry more weight than positives. Negatives tend to affect more people, or at least stick out more, so I'll just talk about those in light of the fact that again, I had a fantastic experience here and wish I didn't have to move out. For context, I'm a 25-year-old single male with no kids. 1.) My first thought when I was looking for a place to live and came across IHA was that it seems expensive. Generally speaking, it's not the cheapest option if you compare merely the price. However, here's what you're paying for: - Kind, thoughtful and caring staff - Betty and Megan were always delightful to talk to and always provided help and assistance when I reached out - Generous square footage - especially with the vaulted ceilings on the 3rd floor - Safe neighborhood and part of town - I'd go running in the dark (am & pm) frequently and had no negative experiences. - Great Cincy location, the "eye of the hurricane" - TONS of attractions in every direction but Newtown is a quieter little town (which I liked) - Plenty of amenities - Chill neighbors; a combination of young adults, young families, established families, and older adults. - Responsive & friendly maintenance guys that I needed probably 4-6 times, all for non-emergency/non-structural issues (hanging stuff) Compared to the other places I was considering, IHA was only $100-$150 more expensive for 3x the value. 2.) Poor insulation in my particular apartment. I wore appropriate clothing so it really wasn't a big deal to me. That said, I opted to live in one of the least updated apartments at the time so that may be an anomaly. All my friends at other places have the same issue. 3.) When I moved in, the light bulbs were incandescent (low-light and energy sucking aka expensive). IHA replaced those in the entire complex and switched to LED. Lastly, the IHA staff is exceptional. I can't thank Betty, Megan, the maintenance guys and the neighbors I literally never said more than "hi" to (introvert, LOL) enough for such a peaceful and uneventful (in the best way) experience. I hope this review addresses any potential concerns or answers any questions. God bless!
We have lived at Ivy Hills for 2 years and have absolutely loved our time here. We have welcomed two babies into our family while living here and our time has been filled with love and laughter. Some of our dearest memories have been made while living here. Betty, the Property Manager is wonderful! She has always greeted us kindly, responded to calls, emails and maintenance requests efficiently and made us feel valued as tenants. The community is safe and quiet, which has been such a blessing having two babies under the age of two in our home. If you respect the community you live in and abide by the rules and contract agreement, you too will find Ivy Hills a wonderful place to live.
Ivy Hills is far from “luxury” but it has its perks. It is very safe and seems as the neighbors look out for one another. Most of the units are in need of some serious updating and the outer siding of the buildings always look filthy. The lightbulbs in the building units are alway burnt out or flickering and to top it off the “work-out room” if you would even call it that, is a pathetic, small room with rusted, old, barley working equipment. On a good note, the pool is very nice, and the regular neighbors that frequent the pool in the summer are friendly and fun. But the worst part about Ivy Hills is the manager, Betty. Unfriendly, rude, condescending and unprofessional. Her constant emails are eye-rolling. Ivy Hills has a lot a potential, but not until management changes.
Nice community completely secured apartment. Its my 2nd year here. Especially the view of my apartment is great. ie valley-view apt 204. I would recommend this apartment for sure. Thanks to Betty property manager she cares the peoples and kids . I am gonna move out of this apartment for my next job .definitely i am gonna miss this apartment very badly .
I, my wife and my son lived here for a year and couldn't be more displeased with the community. Our neighbors were the only good part of our overall experience. Management was rude, unfair and very slow with repair. We came home every night having to make our own parking space with the lack of available spaces. The pool and workout room were always filled with questionable people not seeming to be a part of the community at all. We had a pretty serious bug problem within our quarters being on the first floor and it looked like our bathroom had suffered previous water damage that went without fixing. Our "luxury" apartment went without working AC or laundry equipment for long periods of time with the lax methods of repair through management. For our newborn son this was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. We had never received a complaint of any kind but were denied the opportunity to extend our lease for even a few months. After questioning the management they couldn't give us any reason why we were being forced to leave with only 20 days notice other than they would rather have quieter families that were more settled than that of a new family with kids. Unless you are a wealthier older couple with few visitors then I would suggest looking elsewhere to live!
Property Manager at Ivy Hills Living Spaces, Responded To This Review
I know exactly who wrote this and there are many reasons why he was asked to leave. We love families here and I think it goes without saying that we take care of our residents. We have families that have raised their children here. I believe our resident that has lived here the longest, moved in before we even had grass planted on the lawns. So, that would be about 20 years. If you abide by the rules of living in an apartment complex then there are no issues here. We love our residents and go out of our way to make them happy. Usually if there is a bad review by someone who has been asked to move, then it is because they don't want to admit the real reason they were asked to leave. Betty Ivy Hills Manager
We loved our townhouse and the close proximity to so many nice things to do in Cincinnati. The management and maintenance here are top notch, and the community is beautiful. Our only complaint is that there were certain residents who left messy garage doors open frequently, which was unsightly for their neighbors who pay good money to live in an attractive community. Also, some residents had a lot more than the allowed 2 vehicles. We'd come home on a regular basis and not be able to find a place to park. Other than this, Ivy Hills is one of the top communities in Cincinnati. We highly recommend!
RAISING 10 CHILDREN IN A THREE BEDROOM HOUSE,WE NOW HAVE THREE BEDROOMS FOR OURSELVES! IVY HILLS IN NEWTOWN,OHIO IS JUST WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR. THE MANAGEMENT IS SOoooooo NICE. THE TWO MAINTENANCE MEN ARE VERY POLITE. IVY HILLS IS 10 MIN. FROM MY LEGION POST & 20 MIN. FROM KROGER'S. MY WIFE LOVE IT SINCE SHE DOES NOT LIKE TO DRIVE.
