*FORMER TENET FOR 2 YEARS* Terrible Leasing Office/Parking

Pros • Great restaurants, bars and coffee shops near by • 0.5 mile walk to Echo Park Lake • Close to Silverlake, Los Feliz and DTLA • Easy access to the 5, 10, 101 and 110 Cons • The leasing office (Carra) was terrible from start to finish. I was moving to LA from the east coast. I needed information quickly because I had a lot of things going on for the move. The leasing office was very unresponsive and seemed bothered by questions. Responses could take days or over a week even after stressing that things were time sensitive. She would make excuses on why responses would take so long. This lack of communication continued throughout my time there • There is not a leasing office in the building, so there is no way of tracking them down and they rarely answer the phone • Parking garage spaces are limited and it took over a year for me to get a parking pass. Parking on the street is hard to find at times, you will get ticketed if you don’t move your car for street sweeping on Monday/Tuesday, your car will be broken into, you have to compete with parking from a school near by and a park and the parking in the neighborhood is only getting worse because there have been 3 new apartment buildings added within the last few months that are within a block of the complex • There is an alarm in the lobby that will go off for no reason at any hour of the day for hours and this happens almost everyday • A plastic piece broke on my dish washer, which wouldn’t allow me to use it. They said they needed to order a new part. I followed up with the leasing office several times and they could never give me a clear update. It wasn’t until 2 months past and I told them I need to have money taken off my rent that the part showed up 2 days later and the dishwasher was fixed • After leaving it took 2 months to get my security deposit back, which by law they should have it to you within 21 days. They said a check was sent, but it didn’t show up. After that they offered an ACH transfer and had me fill out a form. I returned the form within the hour and was told I should have it within 3-5 business days. I followed up once 6 business days went by. She said there was an issue with the form and made an excuse of not getting back to me until almost 10 days later I loved the area and was mainly the only reason I stayed as long as I did. I’d suggest trying one of the new apartment buildings in the area if you like the location, make sure you get parking right away

Not worth it. Look elsewhere

Lived here for 3 years. It's a good location and has great views. The quality of the apartment itself is fine. They call it "luxury" but it's just basic new apartment stuff. They have a nice but small gym. You will have packages stolen. You will have your car broken into in the secure garage. If you keep a bike in the secure areas, it will be stolen. Management will gaslight and be non-responsive to concerns. My apartment flooded twice due to water pooling in an adjacent apartment. When I told management it was happening a second time and what I thought the problem was, they told me it couldn't be that and didn't check until the next day. The cause was exactly what I said it was. For a while they were AirBnBing vacant apartments. The apartment across from mine was squatted in by folks selling drugs and disabling the building's security measures so anyone could come and go. The same people drilled into their mailbox when they finally left a couple months later. Management gaslighted about all of that too. Apartment was fine, but not worth the hassle. They continually raised the rent until it was untenable and not worth the constant safety issues.

Bad Management and Parking

As the other reviews state, there is NO parking at this apartment. You will be on a waitlist. Do NOT be convinced when they tell you "it's not hard" to get street parking. The area is jam packed with cars. There are campers and construction all nearby. Getting someone on the phone is genuinely impossible, I had to call multiple times a day to get anyone to reply. Management ignores all emails I sent.

NOT SAFE! Horrible management - NO PARKING

Would not rent from here! Best day was moving out - NO PARKING and not safe. Campers continue to be “stuck” in street. Check out and drive around there multiple times per week and see for yourself there is NO PLENTY OF PARKING. Plus the street sweeping is a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. Horrible management

No parking- safety concerns! Difficult management

Think twice and check out the parking. There isn’t enough of it. Campers on the street with chairs on the side walk. Not safe. Building electricity was out for 8 days - building wide open. No security. Management didn’t appear to be concerned. The managers are a revolving door. Check out multiple times throughout the day to truly SEE the lack of parking

I mean..

Currently living here and I can’t say I love it or that the residents are happy about picking here. there is no on site management which you don’t realize how much you need until all the appliances in your home don’t work. it’s nice, but definitely not for the cost. If i could go back i wouldn’t live here

Amazing Apartments!

I blindly chose this apartment when relocating to Los Angeles from Louisiana, and I’m SO glad I did. First of all, the leasing agent (Zoey) is very informative, great at getting back to you in a timely manger, and you can tell she truly cares and loves what she does! But aside from having an amazing staff, the actual apartment is PERFECT for me, my husband, and my dog. These apartments are brand-new and has many upgraded features. •Safety was my #1 priority, honestly. This apartment isn’t something you can just walk into the building - you HAVE to be buzzed in. Not only that, but we have a parking spot that’s in a super safe, gated area! It’s also on a road that’s not very busy at all. My parking in the gated garage (opens with a unique sticker, not a gate code you have to wait and type in and I love that), but there’s also SO much free street parking as well! •Natural light galore! I’m obsessed with natural light & open windows since I work from home. This place has so much light, it makes you feel good. And there’s upgraded blinds you can pull over your large windows whenever you want. •Vinyl plank flooring is perfect for having a dog! It’s also super beautiful & has this “wood” look. •Balcony with a city view is a huge huge sell for us. I love looking out and seeing the city! And my dog loves hanging out on the balcony (I mean, the weather is basically perfect all the time, so open windows & open door to balcony for my dog to come in & out is so helpful) •Dishwasher (something many places don’t have) •Gas stove, huge cabinets with LOTS of storage space, microwave, fridge •Comes with a washer & dryer in the unit which was another must for me! •Beautiful rooftop with so much room to work up there, hangout, grill, watch tv, get free beer or kombucha (free until a certain limit) •Well-equipped gym with an actual view of the city as you run on the treadmill •Door bell outside of door •High-tech upgraded features for your front door keypad, lights (they dim!!!), letting people in the building, and so much more! Ok so besides having a great staff, being SUPER spacious and aesthetically pleasing, the people here are nice as well. The ONLY thing that’s not perfect is that there’s not a little area for dogs (like a dog run, dog park, grass pad, etc). However, we just got something for our balcony for the times we can’t leave the building to bring him downstairs! All in all, I’m really grateful I found this place. It’s worth every dollar.
