Be very careful with this place, the people in the office will look for many ways to get your money, I left my apartment spotless and they even charged me for the coffee in the office. Be very careful, this is not a place I would recommend.

Been working with Tiffany at IMT. Communication via phone and email has been consistent and timely. Very thorough with information and the property is very well maintained/clean. I have not currently moved (will be in Jan), but so far it has been an excellent experience and I look forward to moving.

Just relocated to Charlotte and living in IMT Ballantyne. Nothing but a positive experience every step of the way. From before I moved thru the application process to move in, office staff were available, helpful, and pleasant. Every aspect of my move was like clockwork. My apartment was spotless upon move in. I had a minor repair issue and maintenance is great. Timely response. Went above and beyond to fix the issue. Awesome place to live. Sharon

I do love this location. The staff is amazing and always there if there is an issue. My only complaint is the clubhouse closes at 5:30 daily. This leaves me so disappointed as I am not able to enjoy this amenity unless it’s the weekend. And even on the weekends, it closes at 5:30 which ruins plans if you want to have people over and enjoy the amenities. the clubhouse is great. I just wish I was able to enjoy it at all.

7 months in and things are still great at IMT Ballantyne!The maintenance team Gage and Brian are so helpful and so reliable, although my requests were minor you can count on them to get it done. The office staff always greet you with a smile and always willing to help even if it’s just a recommendation on a restaurant. I’ve work with Brittany from day one and been very responsive anytime I’ve reached out and answer all my questions in such a professional and attentive manner. Thanks IMT team for make my stay an enjoyable one!

I have been living here for about 3 months and I love it here, except for my upstairs neighbors. The walls and ceilings are extremely thin, so you can hear everything above you. The office staff has been great with communication but these particular neighbors are inconsiderate. Other than that, the complex is beautiful and modern. I moved here because I wanted a quiet and safer neighborhood, which this is. I would recommend this complex to anyone!

I love living at IMT Ballantyne. I have been living here just shy of a year. I have only have positive interactions with both the leasing office and the other tenants. The apartments are beautiful and renovated both inside and out.

Beautiful quiet clean apartments with many beautiful amenities and great staff!

New owners of the building are renovating our apartments built in 2017! They seem professional and I even see changes with our old great leasing team! They are constantly on trainings these days. Clubhouse, elevators etc. are much cleaner than before. I wish only we could have Outdoor tennis/basketball court with the running track Around it for our teenage kids and their parents instead the place of existing dog park (just an idea). And for pets better place farther than main road, closer to the forest with fresh air. I am grateful that we have Cozy playground but it is mostly for toddlers. Great apartments with the amenities such as outdoor BBQ gathering places with more than 5 grills, Safe beautiful pool, spacious clubhouse with conference room and cinema room, business center with 2 Mac and printer (was always with no ink, but it’s fixable) place to groom pets. It is definitely Nice, luxury place to live, but we desperately need place where we can play tennis or basketball. School ratings are high, for all elementary middle and high . Wish all the best to our place we called home for the last 15 month and want to stay year or more longer. Best regards, Your resident

So glad to call this place home! Not only do we get a pool, grills, gym, yoga studio, and clubhouse, but we also get the best staff I've ever met from an apartment complex! Not only are these apartments the nicest I've seen, but we've also got easy access to so many restaurants, shops, and things to do. We couldn't have picked a better place to be.

Worst apt complex to deal with. The staff are all rude and are not great listeners. If you are seeking an apt to live in, look elsewhere from here. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.

Photos just don't do justice. The amenities are phenomenal. Large patios as well. The location is key. You have everything you need within 5 MIN radius!! The school zone is also very good. The staff is great- they are able to answer any questions you may have and get back to you within a timely manner. Definitely recommend taking time to visit the property!

I have been living here for five months, and I have no complaints. The staff is extremely nice, and remembers you by name. I have not had any concerns, and any contact with the front office staff has been answered quickly. I love the interior, and the amenities are fantastic.

This place is terrible. Staff is very unfriendly and the manager evidently doesn’t know how to return emails or phone request. Doors left unlocked at the entrances and they have no security. Walls are thin, young adults running around in cars playing loud music and yelling at 2:30am. Pet owners are very inconsiderate leaving their pets poop laying around for others to step in. I have found a much better place to stay with a lower price well maintained and a manager that will respond to you if you call or email. I am very discussed with the whole district south staff. Can anyone get me the number to the people that actually own this property? I think they have the right to know what’s going on here.

I enjoy living at District South. I have a B1 floorplan and it is perfect for me and my son. I love that there is a shower and double sinks in the master bathroom and a tub in the guest. The layout is functional and I love having a island. Everything is close by too.

Run!! Do not sign a lease at this property. The apartments themselves are very nice (other than the terrible exterior color) but that is the only positive thing I can say. We were totally prepared to move in but the red flags and warning signs thankfully convinced us to not move forward. The staff at the apartment complex are incredibly rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I have been waiting two weeks now on a return phone call. There are plenty of other complexes near by do yourself a favor and go to them!

This place is a terrible. They take your money and try to get you on the amenities. Don’t believe them. Ive been living here for over 8 months and no amenities which they promised it will be up in a couple of weeks, but yet we are going in the month of August. The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors. It’s a new build but everything in it is cheap. And not to mention the apartment is not functional. The kitchen island is in the middle of the living room. Architectural design is terrible. Don’t make the mistake like I did. Pay attention to everything. The build is always unlock and the fabs doesn’t work. The tiles on the floor are place on top of the concrete which make it very cold and feel as though you are walking outside on the ground. I wish, I never moved in this place. If there was a star ?? lower than one. They will be it. This place is way to high too for the price. They should be embarrassed to place a apartment complex like this in Ballantyne.. Save yourself the headache and don’t move here. I can’t wait to move

Lived here for 5 months and its horrible staff is unprofessional expect for Ryan very helpful. Doors are never locked very unsafe FOB keys do not work. These apartments were just slapped together. I recently saw rodents running around outside from the garages as I was walking my dog just nasty. Save yourself some money and find somewhere else to stay.

We moved into our apartment a few weeks ago and LOVE it! The negative reviews seem drastic but I guess that's what you get in Ballantyne, lots of "opinions". These are new buildings, and yes there is construction on the property. That didn't stop us from living here because we knew it's temporary. The apartments feel like a high end hotel, they are very spacious. We have elevators, which really helps with groceries. Our neighbors are nice. The community is very pretty and spread out. They keep the halls cleaned, and we have someone who picks up our garbage from the front door. The people in the office are also very helpful. I would recommend living here to anyone who asks.

Brand new unit that is modern and with no issues fortunately. Staff and maintenance are very nice. Bus stop from Ballantyne Elementary is at the corner for my little one. Everything is close by. Love the natural light the apartment gets. Happy to call this place home. Excited for the pool/amenities to open soon.

I have lived here for about 6 months and could not be more happier with my decision on moving here. The community is nice,it is in a great location, the office staff is nice and very helpful. The one issue I have had since living here was resolved within a day. I love calling District South home!

I too agree with these reviews. It's a beautiful place from the outside but I regret moving in here. If you do decide to move in, be prepared for the headaches you'll have to deal with because there's always an issue. The maintenance team though is spectacular so there's upside for when they have to fix your place.

Currently 4 am and upstairs neighbors are at it again. Several complaints by multiple neighbors have been made about them but apparently management doesn't care. Not to mention all the problems we had with our apartment from day 1 and this place is supposed to be BRAND NEW. These apartments are being slapped together like ginger bread houses and they might as well be one. Dont come here, thats all i can say. Or do and see for yourself how horrible it is.

I was told that the admin fee of $200 would be refunded if things did not work out with the application. Now I am being told that the money is nonrefundable because they used it to run my background and credit check. $200 for a criminal background check and credit check?? Then I was told that it had to be approved by corporate, and if approved it would take "at least 30 days" for the money to be refunded. Rachel and Jessica are who I've been dealing with, and they are both just absolutely terrible. No other apartment complex that I've dealt with in this area has these "policies". Stay away from this place.

This place is a beauty and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Love the finishes and how it's close to everything. Worked with the manager Stacey and she was awesome. Can't wait to call District South home!!!
