Property Ratings at Imperial House Apartments
The building is fine enough, floods regularly and you're lucky of they get to it within a few weeks. The whole building reeks of cigarettes and they don't enforce parking regulations. They nearly doubled laundry fees recently with no notice.
We lived on the 12th floor end unit facing downtown. Best view in town from private balcony(s) overlooking Lake Erie. The staff on-site very helpful and take time to celebrate events throughout the year. It’s with mixed emotions we are relocating to anther community with a change in employer.
We love living here. We've been here for 4years. The staff is AMAZING. The management company fixes or replaces just about everything (from the pool to the elevators). NO BUGS- THANK GOODNESS! Killer views, huge balconies and a carwash! Also, you never hear your neighbors which is a huge plus.
The management at the complex could be a lot better, but the apartment itself is amazing. Absolutely huge for the cost (around $1650). Utilities aren't too bad (around $250), and parking is relatively cheap at $50 a space. The utilities are a little odd though because a lot of them are "communal utilities", where they average out the water and heat for the whole complex and that's your bill. If you get a unit that doesn't face the water, you are wasting your money. We had a corner view, 5th floor. It overlooked the lake and has a beautiful view of the skyline. This view is great for the Cleveland Air Show, Fireworks for the 4th of July and Sporting Events, and generally just watching sailboats all day.
