Property Manager at Idea1 Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us at Idea1 Apartments. We're happy we could meet your expectations!
The maintenance team at IDEA1 completes work orders in a timely manner. However, communication needs improvement, as staff members are not always responsive when greeted and lack professionalism. The maintenance manager is relatively new, which may contribute to the current communication gaps.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback. I appreciate you letting us know. If you're willing, I'd love to get more of an idea of where the communication slipped so we can improve and refrain from communication gaps in the future. Please reach out at leasing@idea1apartments.com if you'd like to address your concerns in more detail. Cheers!
If you're choosing to live downtown, there are always going to be noises and community around the area that are different from a neighborhood. Avoid staying in certain units here though. Specifically the ones that have plumbing pipes on the ceiling. Due to the "industrial design" of the property, everything is open ceiling and plumbing pipes line a lot of the ceilings of the units. Every time someone flushes a toilet, takes a shower, it rains, or scheduled draining, you hear water through them. It's not quiet either; it is a very distracting and annoying sound when trying to enjoy living or sleeping.
Its literally built in skid row. The trolley thunders past the building every 15 minutes from 4:30 am until 1:30 am. There are homeless drug addicts on the sidewalk around the he building and many of them sneak in and break into cars, rooms, storages, or sleep on the roof or in stairwells. To name a few things. If you want to pay the premium prices for the Lousy housing this is the place for you!
The people in this community are not held to any sort of standard. The management team does little to nothing to address the issues brought to their attention. I have been here for two months and have had to start looking for a new place. The conditions are unlivable and the only recourse is to leave.
