The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Huntington Park Apartments
Since the day I got here the office staff and maintenance people here have gone above and beyond to be accommodating. The property is beautiful and well kept. It's really cool that they have small dog park right on the property as well my puppies love it. I feel fortunate to have found such a great place to live.
I relocated to the area about a year ago and the office and maintenance staff have been amazing. The property is clean, quiet abs well kept. Also my puppies love the little dog park in the property. I feel lucky to have found this great place
Very beautiful community, staff respond very quickly and keep the area clean an a family setting
This is a safe, quiet place to live for a reasonable price. Christina (landlord) is absolutely wonderful as a person and as a professional. She cares about your living conditions here, and is quick to find solutions to anything you may need. Very glad I chose to live at Huntington Park!
In the process of moving , they not only were very communicative with me , but was very transparent in the process . Since being here they have made me feel like more than just a tenant , but as a member of a community with the events and contests . Christina has been more than amazing and Vicky is the perfect robin to Batman ! Without Vicky , I would be lost ! They have created a wonderful space for me and my children and I will be forever grateful ! Thank you so much to you guys
I’ve been living in this apartment complex, both the garden apartment and townhouse, for 2 years and love it. Christine has been nothing but helpful and understanding to all needs/questions. Maintenance was quick to the call and always had the issue fixed by the time they left.
This is my 2nd year renting an apartment here for my son attending college at LR. The apartment was recently renovated and is a great layout. The grounds are kept up well and the staff is very friendly and attentive to his needs.
We moved in back in 2022 and we have had nothing but a positive experience! Christine and the maintenance staff are so professional. They take care of issues immediately. Christine goes out of her way to make us feel at home. She makes sure the Apartment complex is safe and clean. The new renovations are really a plus also! She is always available at anytime if something needs to be taken care of. We can't speak highly enough of the Huntington Park Apartments in Hickory! They are so convenient and close to campus! We are so glad we found this hidden gem!
I know for a fact that this facility is by far the best one I have lived at the team is so in tuned with their residents I absolutely love it here .Also the manager Christina is a freaking rockstar in my book all smiles
Huntington Park is a beautiful well maintained property and the management is a pleasure to deal with. My wife and children enjoy the peaceful environment and we love it here!
I've lived here for a year and it's a wonderful complex. Neat, clean, well maintained and landscaped. Laundry facility, dog park, pool and clubhouse. Plenty of dumpsters and assigned parking. The property managers are lovely and attentive to any issues that pop up. Maintenance is fast to respond when needed. I've had two issues and they handled them within a day. They change your air filters monthly for you Management throws cool community parties and makes the neighborhood close and friendly. Rent is reasonable compared to most other complexes in the area. I am quite happy here and intend to stay for a long time.
I honestly cannot recommend Huntington Park to anyone. We lived there for 7 years and have not regretted moving away from it. There is a serious lack of care from the absentee owners, absentee property manager and absolutely no maintenance staff to speak of. From 2017 to February 2023 we had a leaky ceiling in our kitchen. It got so bad that a portion of the ceiling fell due to it being saturated with water. The light fixture in our kitchen also leaked water and the carpet in front of the AC unit was always sopping wet. The property manager and maintenance staff declined to fix the problem. Fast forward to Christmas of 2022 and we had a water main break due to cold weather. It took the absentee owners and property manager 4 days to remedy the situation thus ruining the long holiday weekend for some of the residents. This complex loves to raise the rent for long term residents, but refuse to repair or refurbish older units. In effect, the absentee owners DO refurbish units that are vacated only to rent them out to college students (at a much lower rent than what we were paying). The only tenants the property manager worries about are the college students and new residents. Avoid this place. Find another apartment complex to rent from.
Very convenient to stores, eateries, college and other amenities. I've lived here 2yrs and love it. Very quiet and peaceful. I feel safe here. The office staff, are friendly, professional and helpful. The Manager has been an asset to this property and has implemented many positive changes. Problems or repairs of any kind are resolved within a very reasonable time period. I enjoy living here and so will you.
Would NEVER recommend as long as current management is employed. Apartments are old but tolerable.
Don’t waste your time or energy renting from Huntington park. The property manager is very unprofessional and quite frankly needs some lessons on people skills. Loves to yell at tenants and get in their face. The leasing office (clubhouse) is always locked up so you can’t go in. Repairs take forever to get done, if they ever are. It’s an awful place
