The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hunters Ridge
do not live here. Management is terrible, apartments are terrible, everything about this place is an absolute nightmare.
The management at this complex was not a great experience. I have lived in 4 different apartments in 4 years and this was by far the worst. The management was not kind when I had to contact them, i had a lot of trouble getting an apartment before moving in i didn’t get an address for my specific apartment until just barely before move in and had to request more than once for a copy of my lease. The hallways are always dirty and smell and if you submit a maintenance request online they will never come you have to call it in
The grounds are trashy and a lot of dog owners do not pick up after their pets. Maintenance is at least 3 months behind on requests. I asked them to change the lock on my storage unit in September, it's still not done and I've got no access. The apartment itself is also really run-down and easily the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. They also just kind of leave all of the packages in a mail closet to let you search for your own packages, but there's nothing to stop anybody from just grabbing any package. Also, I can't pay my rent online. I've asked them three times to fix it and I'm still not able to use the resident portal.
Hunters Ridge has absolutely no management skills, and cannot keep employees around for the life of them. The manager is extremely rude and the regional manager is no help. They will NEVER call you back so don't bother leaving your number. Maintenance requests are just ignored and never fixed. When my boyfriend and I moved in, maintenance had never entered the apartment since the old tenants moved out and it was TRASHED. We were unable to move in because they had to repaint the entire apartment. Not a single thing was cleaned and many things were broken (and are still not fixed 3 months later). They have charged me the wrong amount for rent multiple times, and they are very hard to get ahold of. The hallways smell like weed 24/7 and there is always noise because almost every apartment has a dog. The front doors to the buildings are barely ever locked, and there is no security. The manager of the complex has lied to me and my boyfriend numerous times. He will say one thing to you, but will act dumb when you actually want something done. Management never actually reaches out to you, they just tape notices to your door (including notices with VERY PERSONAL information). My roommate ended up moving out, and the manager told me that I had a say in who was going to move in, and then lied about it. They will move anyone in just to make money.
I wouldn’t recommend the one beds. The layout of the apartment puts the bedroom against the hllway wall so you’re always dealing with noise. Also, the heavy front door slamming closed every 5 minutes from people coming and going, it’s hard to get a good night’s rest.
The apartments are nice. It's a little noisy though.
The inside of the apartments are nice. We were given vaulted ceilings which are beautiful. The staff and the managers are another story. We didn't have hot water in our showers for 3 months because they didn't hoop up our shower correctly and didn't respond to my phone calls. The counters were gross when we moved in and the carpet was ripped up. The front door doesn't lock even though the manager has told me it would be fixed ten times. It does include a gym and tanning booth but the gym has had many things stolen and broken and haven't been replaced.
Hunters Risge in Kalamazoo MI is by far the best apartment complex I have stayed at. Maintenance requests are completed within 20 minutes even if they are done for the day. The apartment itself is very spacious and every corner is used in a genius way.
