There are ROACHES AND BEDBUGS in the laundry room. It's been WEEKS since I first emailed. NO RESPONSE!!! Would not recommend. They don't monitor their email, don't answer the phone, and don't return calls when I leave voicemails! Maybe this will get their attention?

I moved into this complex two days ago. Heating is not fixed and I don’t have electricity in half my apartment. I can’t get ahold of anyone front the front office or maintenance. Today is Saturday 12/14/2024. The leasing office is supposed to be open from 10-5 today and there is no one in the office. When you try to call phone number on the website it says number can not be completed as dialed.

Lower- ish cost complex in a nicer area. The complex is run down and dated. It's an OK place to live but not a place you'd want to make permanent.

Apartment is fine. One downside is it is Still very dark around the complex at night! Alot of lights are burned out! Lived here almost 9 years and it use to be very well lit at night not so much now!

so far good experience specially since haileigh manage this place ...just need more attention to landscaping an cleaning you charge us every month for pest control i never see them visit us
I love the neighborhood. It's very convenient having everything i need within a few blocks. My only complaint is that maintenance always seems so busy.
The Leasing Officers were super friendly and worked with us to get the right apartment that suited us perfectly. I’m loving it here at Horizons East
Has good communication. Would let us know why somthing was delayed or not able to be done at that time Answered any questions I had and let would get back with me in a timely manner.
Overall a really good place and amazing communication by staff. Haylee was amazing at helping me move in walked me through everything and very knowledgeable.
The maintenance crew is kind and always helps out where and when they can! I try my best to keep the yards clean of dog poo for them :) I do wish our bags were refilled more often. The prices of the apartments are great for the location. I do enjoy living in Horizon East.
The apartment is lovely. The shower knob could’ve come with a little instruction but truly no issues otherwise. The location is very nice along with the provided conveniences like onsite laundry and pools.
Overall my lease has gone well, but it is extremely hard to contact maintenance, and there appears to be poor communication between maintenance and the front office.
Nice community, leasing office has been awesome and so accommodating during my move in! The apartment is lovely. Very happy with my choice of Horizon's East
The layout of the apartment is great. The location is amazing. The upkeep, however, not so much. The ac units are extremely noisy. The smells of smoke and weed are difficult to remove and seem to come through the vents. The exterior is very poorly kept. Appliances do not match and fixtures are extremely dated and hard to clean. Little things when it comes to caring for a property go a long way and unfortunately this is missing the care factor.
I love the apartment, it's feels like a home. The property managers took good care of me, especially Robert. He is the reason I was able to get the apartment I'm in now.
The turnover in management and maintenance has been extremely high. The whole complex needs a makeover. The location is fantastic. This was a premium place to live years ago. They have kept the pool up pretty well this summer.
We just moved in yesterday and so far everything has been great! The apartment looks great and the management team is very helpful and welcoming!
I love the location the apartment is well layed out. A little busy with rock road but that’s to be expected. Nice laundry facility but they started playing music and I’m not a fan
It’s been super friendly staff. It’s definitely a little chaotic but I think it’s because they are under staffed but overall very welcoming and friendly
So far everyone has been really nice here everybody I’ve spoken too has talked and been nice and polite !!! The Landry facility’s are nice and clean and another nice thing about them there’s 3 of them all over the property!!
Had some issues moving in with AC and full bath not being renovated to where we can use it. AC is now fixed but bathroom ceiling open and ruined due to ac. Still waiting on bath tub to be fixed.
The best haliey and her staff are great verry help ful always there win you need something I feel verry safe there and recommend to my friends

Apartment complex is a bit run down, parking is pretty tight and pools arnt impressive, no shaded areas for the pool, nothing special and a bit over priced, no washer and dryer hookups, and nothing special for the residents. positives is hard floors, wood burning fireplaces, and no one above and below you if you choose the town house layout. Staff arnt super attentive, understandable with a large complex to look after, not a big deal, just show up in person. They are pretty busy and understaffed it seems. Overall it’s an average but decent place to live and they accept dogs just fine it seems

Overall the location is good and no issues with crime. Maintenance is hell to reach. It seems all maintenance is outsourced and there is no on site person (this could be wrong) but it took 6months from moving in to fix 2 problems in 10 minutes and now I’m waiting to see if the work order I put in will go through and someone will make a repair to restore my privacy. Hopefully this doesn’t take months.

The parking here is my main issue it’s to the point I can’t even park anywhere near my apartment 99% of the time. I don’t mind having to walk a bit, but having to park my car more than three buildings away from the one I live in is ridiculous.

I have lived here for about 1.5 years. Overall I know I'm getting ripped off but it's been a pretty good living experience and that's why I renewed my lease. But as of lately, that experience has dwindled quite fast. There is no gym, there are 3 pools which you cannot even count since they are all open year round and absolutely disgusting. The laundry rooms are disgusting with few working washers. The outside trash cans are constantly over flowing. We have had fire trucks/cops in the complex at least 4-6 times this month. My maintenance requests are constantly overlooked. It's a great complex with poor management is the best way to put it.... it wasn't always this way, it just needs some TLC and extra groundskeeping working.

Inside of apartments are decent! Outside of apartments need attention! Lights on buildings out ,lanscape has gone way down hill since I have lived here! Areas by the dumpsters are very Bad! If these things got fixed review would be better!

I think so far for the week that I’ve been here it’s pretty decent. I don’t find the neighbors to be any issues everybody seems to keep to themselves. It’s a really quiet area and really enjoying it.

Maintenance is horrible. Nothing has been fixed that we’ve put in work orders for. Dog bags aren’t replaced most of the time. Random cars taking up 2 parking spots on the regular

Applying for the apartment came with it's challenges due to being misinformed during our apartment tour. After the fact, our leasing agent was able to work with us to make sure that we got what we wanted for a price we were willing to pay within our desired time frame. Overall it added a lot of unnecessary stress to the application and move in process but we are satisfied with where we are and pleased with the management's willing to work with us. We have also already received quick response from maintenance for a minor issue when moving in so that is a good sign.

Great experience living here so far. Very easy move in. Carpets were replaced. Only have TWO negatives that I have: is that the appliances are very old. Dish washer doesn't work well at all. No one cleaned anything else other than the carpet. It was clear that our oven and fan in the living room hadn't been cleaned in years.

Love all of the staff here! They were SO helpful with all the questions (there was a lot) I had while moving in and very accommodating. The parking here isn’t bad either like some complexes where you have to park 10 buildings down to get to your own building.

My favorite part of the new management is when they renew your lease they enforce you to do it digitally and not tell you about increases to your rent. When asked to provide calls they instead leave notes on your door and do not return phone calls. Want to get ahold of them in office? No answer no matter what time of day. Want service? The servicemen bring thier kid with them? Want a clean pool? You stock it with actual fish from the lake and theyd survive. Its embarrassing to live here and I encourage anyone else seeking a good place to live to look somewhere else.

Besides the cost of rent/ added utilities. It's a nice place! Don't understand why the pools are not being serviced( black/green murky unappealing water) don't know if we have maintenance or pest control. Being charged for pest controll and pest control has never been in my apartment! Also per rent is just ridiculous!
