Great place to live close to stores, clean apartments, has a nice swimming pool. Excellent service from the leasing office always help me when I have questions. All appliances are new. Have been living here for 5 years

I have been living here since 2015. The manager Selena is so wonderful and polite. She always responds to any messages I leave at an appropriate time. The maintenance guys also complete my orders on time.

Thank you so much for being a valued resident of ours for five-plus years! It has truly been our pleasure and we look forward to what the future has in store.
For me this location worked out well. It is quiet enough most of the time and away from other surrounding areas. It's also close to shopping and it was a perk having a pool and fitness center available before covid. I enjoyed the pond and field where you can fish and run around. I'm glad I was also able to have my dog with me at these apartments. The setup inside these apartments is much better than some I've seen where as you only have to share the washer/dryer with a few other apartments and not a whole floor or whole building and there is one one set on each floor. The property manager has been there since my day one and I could always count on her response.

I cant wait till my lease is up! The property isnt what it used to be. When you call the office for work orders, they never get done. My building smells like dog urine and poop! The washer and dryers never work. My apartment always smells like marijuana because they allow People to smoke in the hallways.

Our janitorial crew is dispatched, and management will follow up on your complaint. Horizon Village is a smoke-free property. We encourage all residents to contact our office to report any violations so we can enforce the Policy. Do not move here too many fires It has caused tragities in families and cost them everything they have worked hard for
My apartment was designed for comfort and very cozy although it is a 1 bed room it is definitely spacious and comfortable I can't agree that it's worth the leasing amount but it definitely is in a nice friendly atmosphere with great leasing management and they get right on top of things when nessary . Horizon village definitely has great apartments and make it homey for there tenants.
Horizon Village sounds like the perfect place to live!!!! They have beautiful apartments in a wonderful community that's close to shopping, public transportation, highways that will get you to the city of Chicago and/or Milwaukee and /or highways that will get you to recreation such as the great outdoors like camping and/or fishing!!!! (Horizon Village ALSO, I'm delighted to say, has its own fishing lake right on the premises!!!! {I LOVE TO FISH!!!!}) Horizon Village is also very close to the amusement park, Great America which has a water park too!!!! Horizon Village has ALL the amenities that I am looking for!!!! I.E. Laundry in the building, dishwashers, ample parking, lots of closets, nice and roomy, etc., etc., etc.!!!! (I even know some wonderful people who already live there & would love to have them for neighbors!!!! :) While visiting them, I saw that Horizon Village Apartments are absolutely beautiful!!!!) :) I would absolutely, positively LOVE TO live at Horizon Village Apartments!!!! However, I have made SEVERAL attempts to TRY TO contact Horizon Village through Apartments.com, but I'm VERY, VERY sorry to say that I have NOT received ANY replies!!!! :( Don't know if they're not getting my inquiries or what!!!! I am on my way moving to Illinois from Las Vegas as we speak!!!! I REALLY AND TRULY HOPE that I WILL BE ABLE TO contact Horizon Village upon my arrival and THEN, REALLY AND TRULY HOPE that Horizon Village WILL have something available for me!!!! Thanks soooo VERY much for listening to my opinion!!!! :)
