Highlands is a small suburban neighborhood in northern Lincoln. Highlands features manicured lawns, cul de sacs, and affordable to moderately priced rental options in a variety of styles from single-family homes to modern apartments. The neighborhood is best known for the Highlands Golf Course which dominates the western portion of the community. Although there are a few casual restaurants and small shops in Highlands, most residents travel into Downtown Lincoln for shopping, dining, and entertainment since the city center is only five miles away.
