The warm, brown cabinets with the oddly cool toned brown wood floors look tacky. It would have been lovely upgrades without these poor choices in materials.

I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex to a homeless person. The office manager is rude with a nasty attitude. They have too much going on in the office with money not being put in the system when it’s giving.

I've lived in Hillcrest Estates for 1 year now & I love it here! The front office team is awesome & whenever I have a problem and need maintenance to come out they are there ASAP... definitely worth the $$

Me and my family recently moved to this apartment complex back in February 2017. There are two great bubbly, welcoming and friend staff members that work in the front office named Carletta and Yalonda. They are very professional and make sure all work orders or any problems we occur get taken care of within 24 hours in which most times they are done the same day. If we have any request or notice anything that needs to be done around the complex they make sure they get on it. The only downside I don't like is seeing the new property manager standing outside on the phone smoking a cigarette and using profanity by the leasing office. I find this very distasteful, rude and totally unacceptable to be managing a property and have this type of behavior. I feel that something needs to be done about her doing so, As it might detour people from wanting to lease at this community. I give total kudos to the front office staff for being so concerned following up with us about any work orders we put in assuring that they are done. I've lived a many apartment complexes and that has never happened so I thank Carletta and Yolanda for this you girls rock and make me and my family feel very welcomed and appreciated to live here. Keep up the good work!

I went in because of the special they supposedly have going on which is free first months rent on their Upgraded 2br unit. First they tell me they have units available and that I would be moved in the next day if approved. The model unit looked nice and the rent was reasonable so I decided to apply. I pay the $35 application fee and waited for them to call me back. They called me back a couple hours later saying I was approved w the minimum deposit but that they were waiting for my background check. The next day i called to follow up and was told no background check, but no units available for another week. I said ok. The following day i call again and they tell me the background check went through but there will be no units available until the end of July and mind you this is June 29th... I told them this was unacceptable and wanted my money back because the only reason I applied was for the special and was told I could move in the next day. They told me there was nothing they could do. No refund on my money. They said there was nothing they could do and that was that. They were nice in the beginning but as their scam to take people's app fee unfolds they get nasty and rude... DO NOT APPLY HERE!!!!!!

OMG I love my new home here and all the great things they have for us to use/enjoy. I think I'll be staying here for awhile!

I've lived here for a few years now and had planned to move out, but then the property was taken over by a new company and it's really looking good. I've put in a request to transfer to one of the new units and I'm excited to finally have new everything for just a few dollars more than I'm paying now. It has new cabinets, carpet, ceramic floor tile, black appliances, tub, and beautiful tub surround. I understand they will soon open what they are calling a resident lounge, a business center with free wifi and a fitness center. Though I don't have a dog, they also have created what they call a bark park, which looks like a cool amenity and might prompt me to get a dog of my own.
