The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Highpoint on Columbus Commons
Quick response and excellent service I put in a request before I leave for work and it's been fixed before I even get home. Great service, props to the maintenance department
Perfect! Highpoints Maintenance team continues to take care of business. Please recognize Daniel for his dedication and professionalism.
Thoughts We are about 3 months into our 2nd 15 month lease. I would say my experience with the maintenance staff and the office staff remains a very positive 5 rating. We have been very comfortable in our apartment and continue to enjoy our time in the 614. I was pleased to see that the apartment admin has migrated over utilizing the electronic messages functionality in the Highpoint app.
Hallway carpet The hallway I live in is filthy dirty. Dust lines the bottom of the walls and the vacuum does not and cannot get the dust along the walls. Just take a look and you will see all the dust I’m speaking of. Obviously it has not been cleaned in a very long time if ever.
The refrigerator is really noisy when it is run The refrigerator is really noisy when it is run , and it keep running even no one open the door, this is total different vs my previous ones so I have to purchase refrigerator on my own to have a quite home.
Best apartment ever I had an amazing time at Highpoint. Great staff and the apartment was incredible.
Thanks ! Moving is really not fun, tired ! But I do enjoy living at high point. Great view to the park and nice staff and maintenance to work with !
Thanks for all staff and maintenance I moved from one apt to another ( also high point) to prepare for my sister coming, it is really great to get help from all staff and also maintenance. Thank you !
Good place to live I really like high point, it is in downtown, very good env, and nice staff, maintenance quick, recommend to others.
Maintenance Request We turned in a maintenance request and wanted to be sure to recognize Jermontee for leaving a notice on the door that he had been in the apartment completing the requested work. Thanks so much for your courtesy and skills! George and Jeanne
Great to live in high point I hope to have a one bed room apartment :) It is a very good env
Let’s Do It Again We are nearing the end of our 15 month lease. Reflecting we have been extremely happy with the manager, administrative staff, and the responsive and talented maintenance staff. We have decided to make Highpoint home for another 15 months. We signed to stay yesterday.
Maintenance response Always quick great response to problems Being older , it is nice having that service when needed.

Thanks for the review! We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Please let us know if we can do something to make your experience even better!
Very cheap construction. Just on the day I moved in: the front door didn't lock properly, the smoke detectors kept going off, the toilet didn't flush, the shower was clogged and leaking, the washer left clothes dripping wet, and a handful of lightbulbs needed to be replaced. I'm also right below the building's AC units so my apartment is always rattling. But even worse than that are the constant events at the Columbus Commons. They can have concerts at any time during the day, both on weekdays and weekends. Including from 11am to 11pm on multiple weekdays just in one week! They constantly blast weird music, even when no one is there, and have no respect for people living downtown. I've barely been able to enjoy a nice evening in my own home since moving here. Working from home has been horrible. You cannot rely on this apartment and have to live by their schedule. It seems like there's always something disruptive going on. I highly do not recommend moving here.
Property Manager at Highpoint on Columbus Commons, Responded To This Review
Hello and thank you for the feedback. Our location is unique, being on the Columbus Commons, some love the access to food trucks and entertainment but we understand that may not be for everyone. As the colder months roll in, the events will slow down and so will the AC usage! We respond to all work orders with 24 hours, so please don't hesitate to enter your requests for any maintenance help. We love to hear from our residents and encourage you to reach out to us directly with any additional questions or concerns. Thanks again, EM
The building is poorly constructed and managed. The hallways smell like garbage most of the time, the stairways always smell like dog pee, half of the residents and some of the staff do not wear masks and no one enforces it. The fire alarm goes off a few times a month in the building. There are MUCH better options elsewhere in Columbus.

Highpoint is an excellent apartment community. The location is unbeatable. As a resident you have access to concerts, events, the river and festivals that occur in downtown columbus all within walking distance. Additionally, the bars in the Arena District and Short North Restaurant are about 1-2 miles away. You can ride the C-Bus for free to get there if you aren't in the mood for a long walk. The actual apartments are very spacious, updated, and have underground parking. Kitchen and bathrooms are large as well. As a young woman, I have never felt unsafe here. All access is monitored and a security guard is on site. There is a rec room available for reservation for your own events. The only negative is there is obvious patch up work done in the apartments from a maintenance perspective and the apartment building is not accommodating for moving in or bringing home groceries. Also there is no visitor parking except for free parking meters on Sundays. So many residents and guests have been towed!
