Great building with a great staff! A couple things that could be improved upon...more garbage dumpsters...better control of the HVAC in the hallways on the residential floors...fixing the windows that freeze up in the winter

The resident experience has been great overall. The community is well-maintained, and the amenities add a lot of value. The management is responsive, though there’s always room for slight improvements. Overall, a very positive experience!

Very nice apartments when you need something fixed there is no wait for it. Love the rooftop. Beautiful views the gym is very nice. Steve in the office are very helpful. I think parking is a little too expensive.

Quiet and nice amenities. Residents need to do a better job of breaking down cardboard boxes placed in the recycling bin. Also, residents need to do a better job of not allowing their dogs to pee right outside the back door. Overall, nice experience so far.

I am a current resident. I do not recommend living at Highpoint if you work from home or value reliable internet access. While I am writing this review, I am at 40 hours (and counting) with no internet access at all in my unit and no idea how long it will be. Four entire floors are completely offline and residents are furiously posting in our Livly app. It is certainly not the first time the internet has gone down at Highpoint. Highpoint only offers an “AT&T Connected Community” system. A single network shared by the entire building. ISP’s have increasingly pushed these connected community programs because they’re a quick, cheap way to pad their subscriber numbers and lock in bulk customers… at the cost of significantly degraded service quality, privacy, and security. Even when the internet is “working” at Highpoint, you can expect random disconnects, obnoxious buffering while streaming, and generally slow speeds. Especially in the evenings when everyone is home and competing for the same bandwidth. For the cost of renting here, it is crazy that the property owners are too cheap to install individual fiber lines which are far more reliable, private, and secure. It is 2024. Internet access is an essential utility. More than 30% of Americans work from home. The only correct response here is for Management and Owners to install independent fiber lines per unit so that Highpoint residents are not stuck depending on this “connected community” garbage with no alternatives. Please provide residents with the “luxury rentals” that you advertise and charge us for. Other than that, it’s a decent place. Friendly staff. Nice roof and gym. Wonderful location for walking to a variety of excellent take-out food and other local basics. Farmer’s Market is almost directly across the street on Sundays. Honestly, if you don’t mind randomly missing work deadlines, getting dropped from meetings, or using your phone as a mobile hotspot all day while you pay premium prices for non-existent internet service, you’ll love it here. This would be a 5-star review if providing reliable internet was not so utterly basic and essential. Cheapskate property owners wanted to save a buck and now residents pay the price.

Almost every other apartment we toured had at least one of these three issues: rude/poor management, smelly/old building, cheaply built units. At Highpoint, we were immediately blown away by how clean and modern the building was. Every floor/room in the building smells clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful with any questions and problems we've had. The amenities here with a gorgeous view of the city is the cherry on top of an amazing experience we've had so far.

Our first year here has been great. The property is clean and well managed. The staff is always friends and the rooftop is perfect for hosting friends or just relaxing.
Everything has been very nice. Only complain is that it is sometimes hard to get hold of the management office. Staff was very helpful with the move in especially disposing of empty moving boxes

I love living in a beautiful and well-cared-for building full of friendly people. It’s exciting to see all the new local area businesses and restaurants opening within walking distance. And I love living a stone’s throw from a world class and award winning library in Skokie. I’m happy to call Highpoint my home.
Living at Highpoint has been an absolute pleasure. The community is vibrant and inclusive, with regular events that make it easy to connect with neighbors. The apartment itself is modern and spacious, providing a comfortable haven to unwind after a busy day. Plus, the location is convenient, with easy access to shops and restaurants. Highpoint is an amazing place to live. The apartment is just like brand new, and all the utilities and appliances work very well. I rarely hear may neighbors, except in the hallway, since the sound quality is very good. The onsite resident team is very kind and very responsive to questions and needs.

For the past five months, I've resided at Highpoint in a one-bedroom unit with my partner and our pet. Our experience here has been thoroughly enjoyable. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a safe and well-maintained environment through regular cleanings, paintings, and maintenance. Having explored several other apartment options before moving in, Highpoint stands out incomparably. The amenities are unparalleled, and the location is ideal—being less than half a mile from the train station, with a high-end hair salon across the street, a nearby coffee shop, and convenient access to an Aldi and fresh food market. Furthermore, additional retail stores and restaurants are just a short drive away, and food delivery services are readily available.

The Apartment is well maintained and I feel very safe in this apartment. I would request to have more number of community building activities to be conducted to meet and greet other residents
Great building with awesome amenities and amazing views. Maintenance team is incredibly responsive! We have renewed for another year and look forward to it!
All the amenities are very nice, and everyone is so nice in the apartment! It is perfect place to live if you have a job around here. Love the coffee machine as well!
It has good exercise gym and beautiful lounge on 12th floor, also the lounge has ping pong and pool table that we can play and relax. The out side view of lounge is great too. I even can see the Chicago down building from lounge.
