The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Highlander Apartments
I'll start of with, I am not usually one who leaves bad reviews, most of them are positive. But the way we were treated here left me with no other choice but to warm others to stay away. We moved into these apartments with an open mind after reading several negative reviews of the property. The place is cheap. The walls are thin as paper; you can hear the conversation in the next unit over, the bathroom flush is clearly heard every time you neighbors flush. The units have not been updated in a while. The stove is still from the 70's, the refrigerator is the loudest one I've heard so far in my life. But the worst part of the whole experience was after we moved out. When moving in, we were told to put down a "Refundable" deposit for the unit. We cleaned the unit, vacuumed everything spotless. The unit was left in better condition than when we moved in. We were in a different city too far to complete a walk through with the manager, but after they did the walk through we got a call saying the unit was very well cleaned and we will receive the full deposit. A week later, we received the itemized charges for the apartment saying that we needed 2x vendor cleaning and replacement of all drip pans on the oven totalling the full deposit amount. After emailing them asking why all the charges and saying I have pictures of the clean apartment the response was "it's required by the law, sorry and thank you for cleaning the apartment". The bitter taster will stay for a while after being told everything was fine and we are getting the full deposit but in reality they were keeping the whole thing. Word of advice: don't do the same thing I did and stay away from these units. You get what you pay for, in both the apartment and treatment from the management.
These apartments are very beautiful. A pool and a workout room are available here as well as a park and a basketball court. The apartments are spacious, although the way the roof is built makes the living room very hot during the day because the ceiling has a big window that let's all the heat in. It has a glass sliding door in the living room that leads to a small balcony. It even has a small chimney. Even with all the amazing things these apartments have, the rent is a bit too expensive for us.
