The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hidenwood - Hiden Place Apartments
I’ve been here for 4 years in a couple different apartments moving from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom, the 2 bedroom had a wasp nest in the ceiling in my kitchen that took them a week to get rid of, and both upstairs toilets were leaking literal pee and poop into the ceiling in my bathrooms. The one bedroom was disgusting when I moved it, they did not clean it at all from the previous tenant who was clearly a heavy smoker, there was mold all in my apartment and it is causing me so many health issues and they said it was handled but it wasn’t, bought a mold test kit, shocker still mold in the apartment. I’m so sick of this place, do not move here if you enjoy your peace.

The one bedrooms don’t even have washer and dryer or ceiling lights yet they keep increasing the rent. Maintenance is fast the leasing office is nice but it is not worth the price and they keep raising the rent.

The one bedroom is small but just enough for 2 people and a dog. Maintenance is pretty fast and professional. The ladies in the office are nice and direct. The neighborhood is pretty quite and chill. I've stayed there two years and its been peaceful.

Maintenance is terrible. They only put bandaids on the problem and don’t actually fix them. They show up when they want to without notification. They did maintenance on my apartment that required sanding drywall and needless to say there was dust EVERYWHERE. The property manager said she would pay to have the carpets cleaned after the incident but instead just took my deposit because I did not have the carpets cleaned. There’s trash everywhere. The apartments closest to the entrance of the property are the only ones with assigned parking. It’s been like that for years. It’s so they can say there’s assigned parking but the rest of the complex doesn’t have them. The appliances including the HVAC system and thermostat are older than I am (I’m 47). The pool was never available for use when I lived there and I was there for 3 years. There are potholes everywhere. This place is a joke. Do not move here. You will thank me later.
Within the first year of living here I can tell you that I will not be renewing my lease. First of all, When there is something wrong in your apartment you expect and when you call the maintenance they will come to your apartment at least sometime during that day am I right? But it turns out that they all show up for days, weeks, and even months. It’s crazy to say that especially if it’s very important like if your Fossett isn’t working and you’re waiting months or weeks for them to come fix that that doesn’t look good. I’m tired of having to call and tell him the same exact thing over and over. And all they tell you is the maintenance people they have a lot of people to go to. Which I understand that but my problem is if I’ve told you that there is something wrong and it’s been weeks in months then no obviously you’re not making sure that your maintenance people are coming to peoples apartment who really need it specially as an emergency. I’m also tired of not having a parking spot how are you going to say in your pamphlet that you give people assigned parking and even when you come to them they tell you and then once you move in there is no assigned parking. So when you start calling them and asking them hey when are y’all going to do the sign parking they give you the same answer. Which is,”We have to call a company to come out to our apartment and repaint those assigned parking before we can give people assigned parking.” But that hasn’t happened within this whole year. Another issue that I’m having is if you have neighbors and they’re waking you up every day at 2 o’clock 3 o’clock 4 o’clock in the morning and they become your alarm clock now and you start calling the management and let them know hey my neighbors are waking me up every single day by just talking and yelling and I do nothing about it it can be very frustrating especially when you’re trying to go to sleep would I want to hear my neighbors wake me up as my alarm clock when I have my phone to wake me up instead as my alarm clock when it supposed to. And anytime you have questions or concerns and you go up to the main office or you call them they seem to ignore you like you’re not there and I don’t like that because I feel like clearly if someone’s calling you need to answer that phone or if someone’s entering your office don’t get up and walk away and then don’t come back for an hour or 30 minutes like what are you doing it took you an hour or 30 minutes it’s like you purposely didn’t wan
I love my apartment! I love the management and the maintenance! They are all kind and they truly care about us as resident's and the property itself. They take care of the property by making sure everything looks great and is in working order. I appreciate the great communication between the office and us renters,we are given plenty of notice for everything! The apartment complex is quiet and I feel very safe!
You get what you pay for when you come to Hidenwood Apartments. Though the price per month might be the best in the area the amenities within the apartment are not top tier. It is a constant battle with the front office trying to have things within your apartment fixed. You will be lucky if anything within your apartment is replaced whatsoever. The interior has ac units, stoves, and fridges that are all 10-20 years old and break constantly. The maintenance staff are left trying to fix broken items that long should have been replaced. With that said the location is great in the area and you have a lot of things around you. Just be weary of what you are getting yourself into.
No other neighborhood, will place you in the center of everything. This apartment community, is less than walking distance to every taste in restaurants, theatre and the visual and performing arts. It is pet and bicycle friendly, with emergency and hospital services just around the corner-literally! Not to mention local college and high school football, for the sports fan in your family! The foot traffic is pleasant, with nostalgic nuances of neighborhoods from long ago. Several banks, a florist, yoga, and bicycle repair are just some of the amenities nestled in this cluster of conveniences. The staff here are available and friendly with several community events within the complex that brings the neighbors together as a community family. For big city convenience and small town spirit, here is where your heart belongs.
