Regarded as the Horse Capital of the World, Lexington is home to a number of horse farms and all kinds of equestrian events. The second largest city in Kentucky, Lexington maintains a small-town feel and progressive atmosphere thanks to an involved community and the presence of three colleges — the University of Kentucky, Transylvania University, and Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
There is something for everyone in Lexington. Sports fans enjoy the horse races at the Red Mile and Wildcats basketball games at Rupp Arena. Outdoor enthusiasts delight in the city’s thriving cycling community, as well as hiking the many trails in and near Lexington. History buffs relish access to the Mary Todd Lincoln House and Ashland: the Henry Clay Estate. Art lovers savor the plentiful art galleries, including Lexington Art League, Institute 193, and the Lyric Theatre and Cultural Center. Shoppers appreciate having the largest mall in Kentucky, Fayette Mall.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hideaway
I would definitely recommend this place! Candace was such a great help and made the move-in and application process a breeze. If you’re looking for a place where management makes you feel at home this is the place. The amenities are also a plus! I love my new apartment and I can’t say thank you enough!
It's simply a dump. Can't even open the windows! Owners were terrible!
Highly recommended! I have lived here since April and they have a resident for life with me. Bob, Jesse, and Roxanna are all so sweet and will work with you in any way. They keep everything in good shape and they always greet you with a smile. You can tell their main focuses are community and family, unlike 99% of the places in Lexington. Not to mention the fact that it’s so affordable! You’d be crazy not to move in here.
This complex is amazing! They have a new set of washer and dryers, they keep the yard well cut, and the newly finished pool area is outstanding! It is a nice and quiet area as well.
Hello everyone out there renting and buying... I just recently moved out of an amazing apartment complexes called hideaway at treetops... great community and wonderful people... I unfortunately moved jobs and had to relocate but one day I hope to go back because I had nothing bad to say about this place... it was efficient, maintenance worked hard to help when they could, and it’s fair in pricing... I recommend living here!
