I really enjoyed living here to start off the staff is amazing! They make communication accessible through all channels and do everything they can to accommodate you. Whenever I call if they don’t answer they make sure to call me back in a timely manner. I love how they respect us that’s really important to me. I like how they curate events and have food trucks to bring the community together. The area is clean and my neighbors and build in general is respectful. Whenever there is an issue maintenance takes care of it right away. The gym is always clean and all of the machines are up to date and work. The pool is clean as well. I love how this area is close to pretty much everything.

Just moved in at the beginning of this month, and this has been by far one of the best moving experiences of my 20 years of renting! Great customer service! Amy was very knowledgeable and professional, and she and her team worked around our situations (timing, schedule...) to help us with our moving... Added to this, this place is amazing! The lake and surrounding trees make it a joy to relax and breath fresh air! (So glad that this is non-smoking community!) Looking forward to a long and happy stay!!

I have written a review on Hidden Lake Apartments before. My wife and I just signed our 18th lease and are happy to call Hidden Lake Apartments our home. If you are looking for a well managed, clean, safe and attractive place to live Hidden Lake is all of that. Wonderful staff and great upkeep on the entire property. We enjoy a wonderful pool and GYM. The property has many trees and 2 small lakes "with fish". Hidden Lake is great for younger adults and we believe it is a wonderful place for older tenants also. In the need of an apartment check out Hidden lake apartment complex, great staff and very peasant surroundings, close to all amenities, there's an apartment size suitable for one and all. Prices very fair and in accordance for other apartments in the vicinity.
I really love it here. The greenbelts, the yards and the peaceful surroundings sold me on this complex plus it is convenient to highways and stores.
Very picturesque, quiet clean and everyone is very friendly. I have only been here a short time but so far I have been happy and satisfied with everything.

Beautiful apartments, friendly staff, and extremely pet friendly!
Hidden Lake was the 1st and only complex I visited! Its located in an excellent area, very secluded and quiet, yet you have HEB Plus, all the Retail Stores and restaurants around. Within minutes of The Rim at La Cantera, you cant beat the location and the rent is very reasonable for the location. The staff is very attentive and have been great!
This place is beautiful. Coming from New York City aka the concrete jungle, my husband and I were really looking to live somewhere with trees and a good area for our two dogs. We couldnt believe we could find a place like this especially at the price
I do love it here very much! Everyone is very helpful and friendly! Its peaceful and relaxing, the grounds are kept up very nicely.

Office stuff especially manager is awesome! Maintenance staff is very fast! Overall everything is great!
The apartments themselves are nice but when I lived there management was terrible. They were rude, would roll their eyes, and gave a lot of attitude. They knew by my name and apartment number and when I locked myself out of my car (push to start and the keys were in my purse in the car) they wouldn’t let me into my apartment to get the spare key. I understand it’s a liability but my license was in my car with my stuff and since I didn’t have it I had to pay $300 to a locksmith. Again, they knew me by name and apartment number. Then when my roommate and I moved out and they did the inspection, maintenance literally just looked around and said “looks good” without really looking, however, he went straight to the corner of the carpet in the living room and said we spilled something and needed to replace the carpet. This would make sense if he did that to all the rooms, he didn’t. He went straight to that specific corner. The reason I say this is because my roommate and I stayed in our own rooms, we didn’t spend time in the living room or dining room. When they did the “pre move out inspection” I wasn’t notified and when I got home there was a note on the counter and so were my undergarments. Like I said, the complex itself was great, but management (when I lived there) was terrible and inconsiderate.
Wow!!! Not sure were these negative reviews are coming from. Must be the competition is jealous and trying to sabotage. I have made this my home for almost a year now. I have been an apartment dweller most of my life. This is an exceptional management team and nothing surpasses their maintenance. With speedy fixes and quick follow-up’s. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful consistently. I walk my dog three times a day, I have never ran into hostile or scary people. Feels very secure and safe and a very friendly community. I have made more friends in this community than any other apartment community I have ever lived in. And the staff and maintenance always has a treat for my little furrbaby! So I seriously don’t understand the negative reviews other than people who are disgruntled or who should not be living here in the first place. Good riddance. I am a stay at home caregiver so I am here a lot. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and location is everything. You don’t have to drive far to get to almost anything you need. Swimming pool is crystal clear, the gym is great for all your workout needs. Very large spacious apartments. I rent a two bedroom two bath and it is perfect for our needs. Clean no bugs and we even elected to add a garage. Great place to live, if you don’t check it out based on bad reviews then you are being missed lead and will miss out on an opportunity to live in a great community. As a very happy resident I suggest you come and see for yourself. A

We moved in 2 weeks ago and it has been a complete nightmare ever since. When we first walked into the apartment, we noticed a horrible smell like dirty socks or wet dog. I vacuumed the carpet thinking it would go away. My canister filled up in every room with dirt, animal hair, and cat litter. We were told that the carpet had been shampooed but apparently it had not been vacuumed before they cleaned it and all of the dirt and hair had just been soaked and left to sit. On day 2, we noticed what we thought were gnat, but they turned out to be fleas. On day 3, we asked to be let out of the lease. The complex refused and now we are stuck in this nasty place.
We've been here almost a year now and love it so much we're upgrading when our lease is up! Always clean, very friendly, and beautiful all around! Definitely the best area as well. Easily the best apartment we've ever seen/lived in.
I've only been here for a few weeks now, but I have been very impressed so far. The complex is very quiet and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance request are handled in a timely manner. I also enjoy the seclusion of the park like setting the complex offers. Great place to call home.

I have lived at Hidden Lake (HL) going on 3 years now and I still love it! The location of the complex is convenient and the grounds are maintained extremely well. The pool is extremely beautiful and the amenities are very nice. The location is unique because I actually feel like I don't live in the city. The location of my apartment on the green belt is perfect! The executive staff along with the maintenance staff are incredibly friendly and responsive to my every need. They have back up staff that are apparently accessible 24/7 and I actually always feel like I am talking to the onsite property management. I have only had to call on them on rare occasions but when I have they have responded and taken action in a very prompt and professional manner. I feel very good about my decision to make HL my home and plan to stay here for quite some time. Thank you Jennifer, Amy, Michael and all of the staff for making my home such a great place to live!
Hidden Lake Apartments--well, the beautiful lake is now truly a "hidden lake." It was there, and now it's gone! The cabinets are sub-par, the flooring is really cheap (and coming up in many spots), the carpet is cheap, the apartment wasn't clean when I moved in (food all around the stove on the wall, horrible paint job...so, the luxury is "missing." That was the negative. The positive: Lovely treed area, awesome staff, beautuful pool and fitness room, not noisy, and grounds are well-kept.
