Heathwood Village

I have lived here for sometime and am very happy with maint and the quality of my home. I have done just that, made it my home. They let me paint, and hang things. I have decorated my back patio with Christmas lights, it is my fenced in zen area. I am very lucky to have found this gorgeous, safe community to live in.

Do not move into this place management is terrible maintenance does a half jack job and they want to charge you to fix terrible plumbing issues they refuse to fix correctly, overflow of parking, the apartment complex was trashed and never cleaned. Would not recommend moving in

I am proud to call Heathwood village my home for almost 5 years. We started out in a 2 br and transferred to a 3 br. They have a pool that is monitored by staff and a secure weight room. They are quick to take care of any maintenance issues or any other issues that may arise. The entire staff is very friendly, with my favorites being Tammy and Fred. The grounds are well cared for on a daily basis and flowers provided at no charge to all residents in late May. They are also a pet friendly community.

My husband and I were looking for an apartment that was in between Zanesville and Columbus. After tons of searching we found a great home! We love having so much space! Maintainance is really good about keeping up with requests and doing lots of updates. We live in a safe neighborhood that is very close to a playground, the pool, fitness center, and elementary school. I would feel comfortable raising a family here. :) -David and Whitney

My husband and I have lived at Heathwood Village 3 different times. We have been there 4 years this time. Tammy, the Manager helped us easily pick a home and painlessly get moved in. The staff are very sweet and helpful. This stay has been the best because as we moved out last time, Tammy was promoted to Manager and has done a wonderful job. Tammy knows her business extremely well. It feels like home!

I have lived in this complex for over 5 years. I love the neighborhood and the people who live in it. I have never lived near a better group of neighbors. My apartment is very nice and the maintenance crew at Heathwood do a fine job at making sure they have everything in working order and they do it very quickly. The ladies in the office are very nice and extremely understanding. They always have a smile and they make it a nicer place to live. The pool and the grounds at Heathwood are always neatly groomed and well kept. This complex is also pet friendly. There are no other apartment complexes I would want to live in in this area. Heathwood is family friendly, close to all the schools and shopping and overall a WONDERFUL place to live. I have found my forever home.

I rented a small two bedroom, 1.5 bath from this place last year and while the rent was okay in the beginning ($665) they wanted to up the rent by $100 the second year with no explanation at all. The apartments on either side had a family of 9 people to our left and a family of drug users to our right. We brought multiple complaints to management with no results or imitative. For the price, the apartment windows were very poorly insulated which cause our gas bill to be outrageous. The bathrooms had cracks in the tub and the carpet (apparently was cleaned upon us moving in) had dead bugs underneath the vents. Management was a joke, maintenance men came at their leisure and for what else was available in the area, it is way too expensive. If you are the type of person that loves a loud, drug dealing, dirty environment then Heath Hood Village is your place to be!

The staff is beyond amazing and that's just part of what makes this a great place to live. I feel like my needs and my wants truly matter. When there is an issue, they are attentive and expeditious and they are appreciative and care about me as a tenant. Enough about the staff, the apartments are spacious and well kept. The grounds are maintained so you can be proud to call this place home. No matter where you go, nothing is perfect but this is the best apartment I've ever lived in. Oh, and by the way...the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. A wonderful place to raise kids and the schools are great. Don't bother looking any where else.

They have many unit's/buildings available from 1-3 bedroom with full basement's. Washer dryer hook-up. Plenty of closet space in every room! And a swimming pool. A huge park that's not owned by the apartments. But is located directly in the center of the property, Hitchcock Park It's called. The staff are always friendly. The Elementary School is literally right across the street which has been great. Indian mound mall is super close. Plenty of food and shopping all in walking distance. Very affordable too. Pet friendly with "doggy stations" that provide fresh waste bag's for your Dog while walking them....Nice surrounding neighborhood too!

My family and I were put in a tough situation and needed a home, so I talked to Farrah, one of the office ladies, and she said she had the perfect home for us! So, my husband and I looked. It was perfect for our needs! The space was great, clean, nice yard in back for our son, private parking and a garage and basement! Farrah walked us through the application process, payment and eventually getting the keys to our new home! They work with you, and at the time, we needed that. Every time I had a question, she was always accessible and responded in no time. Always happy to help! I am sure I had more than most; I never felt like I couldn’t ask, which is wonderful!!! We had to call maintenance on the weekend, we had just moved in and needed assistance… He was there, literally in 3 minutes, on a Saturday! We have lived in our home at Heathwood Village now, for about a month. We absolutely love it!!! Great size apartments, affordable, wonderful office personnel, great location. If you're looking for a place to call home, in a small suburb and great schools… Call Heathwood Village---- They will find YOU the perfect home, too!

I had the most pleasant experience working with Heathwood Village. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were friendly and attentive and always got back with me as soon as possible. If I had any issues (which I didnt) they were right there to take care of it for me. For anyone searching for a place to live, Heathwood Village is the place to go!

My experience with Heathwood Village thus far has been excellent. The staff was very helpful and efficient on answering any questions I had during the application and move in process. I am very pleased with my choice of living at Heathwood Village.

For the first time in a long time my son can go out and play with his friends (and we have lived in "good" neighborhoods) we don't have to worry about him. Great community, great location, great staff, and safe, which as a parent, is priceless! We are very pleased with our choice to choose Heathwood Village!

The staff at Heathwood are wonderful. They have done a great job making us comfortable. Our apartment is huge!!! The pool and park are also wonderful features.

I've only lived here for about a year and I really do love these apartments. The maintenance is great and the staff are wonderful. Unfortunately just recently we had problems with neighbors (noise and litter wise.) There was constant loud banging on the walls from the kids next door and the people across from us occasionally litter the front area and are very disrespectful but that's just normal when you live in apartments. The pool is a walk away and very calm on the week days! Pets also have a big field to walk in. So overall i'd say 4/5. =]

I've rented for years & I leased apartments for a year in Toledo, so I've lived in & seen apartment at all price ranges. With that said, Heathwood Village is absolutely one of the top apartments in the area! The office staff is wonderful to work with, the maintenance workers are on top of things (which is hard when there are so many apartments) & the area is so convenient! It's nicely updated & surprisingly quiet too. My fiancé & I love it here!

Heathwood Village is an awesome apartment community. My neighbors are respectful and the neighborhood is peaceful, I feel safe and at home here. The office staff is always helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff is helpful and professional and always makes sure the job is done correctly and in a timely manner. I am a previous tenant and have recently returned to live in this community again. Highly recommended!

For my first apartment experience, I was nervous about finding the right place. The office personnel and the maintenance crew have been awesome at answering questions and taking care of maintenance concerns. The location is great. So close to restaurants, shopping,businesses and parks that one can easily walk to within 10 minutes. The apartments are clean and have a lot of storage space. It is relatively quiet during the week. The weekends can be noisy with increased weekend traffic and people movement. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay so far! I also want to mention that the ladies in the office are the best. They are always in a good mood and eager to help in anyway they can. Any suggestion I would make is that it would be nice if there was a social committee that could hook residents up with common interests. I would love to have a walking group, reading group, cooking group or just a group that helps others out. Everyone seems to keep to themselves and it would be nice if we could meet each other and form some bonds with common hobbies or goals. It just might be a nice way to meet others in the "hood".

The location of the complex is great. It is right near the stores, restaurants, etc. All the staff, from office to maintenance, are friendly and helpful. There is a nice park and a pool for the kids too!

We just moved in last week, and compared to many other places that we have looked at in the past Heathwood was the only one that stood out - because mainly of the animal acceptance. We have a rather large dog, and most people / places will not accept any dog over 40Lbs. Here at Heathwood there was no issue with our larger dog. This was a major issue for us and this determined where we chose to move. So far, everyone has been nice and courteous. The office staff is excellent and social - they made us feel right at home. The minute that we walked in we did not feel pressured into renting, we felt comfortable and welcomed. I would recommend this place / community to others.

The office staff has been the most helpful I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. Carrie was quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. Fast courteous maintenance staff and the area around the building is nicely kept. I would recommend these properties to anyone one of my friends!

Moved in a few days ago from Pennsylvania and we absolutely love it here. Beautiful apartments, excellent location; close to everything and right across the street from my kids' school. We have a seven month old bullmastiff and Heathwood Village let us keep her with no problems. The staff is great, especially Carrie. Couldn't be happier we moved here.

I have lived in Heathwood for over 4 years and enjoy living here. The office staff is usually very quick to address any issues and the maintenance staff are all very friendly and efficient. As for the location, it is super convenient to most of the best restaurants, stores and parks in Heath.

I picked Heathwood Village to move into when I sold my house in May for a couple of reasons...One being the location and two I could keep my Rottweiler. The apartment was not nice at all. Scratched, scuffed and marked up floors and countertops, screened back door doesn't go all the way up to the top of door frame, space for insects and hot/cold air can get through back and front doors, wet basement. I had to put down my Rott and now they say I can't have a boxer?! I don't think its fair to tell an existing tenant they can't have a certain breed of dog when everyone around me have Rottweilers, boxers, pits, etc. This should be a policy for new tenants. I do not believe my Lease Agreement says I have to have a certain breed, and I certainly haven't signed anything saying this. And, for the price I pay a month this apartment should be kept updated with new flooring, central A/C, dishwasher and garbage disposal. The Apartment as is is certainly not worth the money. Especially now since I can't have the dog I want. The rest was worth putting up with.

The office staff is great, very easy to get along with and they have a sincere desire to help. I have put in maitenance requests and they are taken care of almost immediately, in some cases it may take a day or two at max, but there are a lot of apartments here. I moved out once, but there is no better Value in the area, I get more for my money and great quality here. I will be here for the foreseeable future and I recommend that anyone looking for a good quality apartment with friendly helpful staff come and check out Heathwood Village

We moved in approximately two months ago and until then, were very wary of apartment living. I have to say from the application process all the way through the move in and beyond, the management staff has been amazing. We have been pleasantly suprised with how quiet it really seems to be. The townhome is super spacious and am thrilled that we have enough room for a dining room table :) The grounds are maintained very well and everyone is really friendly. This complex has made an apartment lover out of me! We will definately be extending our lease.

The apartments are older, yes, but overall they're well maintained and they are making improvements. I have to agree with the other review about the screen doors, they looked nicer and were functional. I've had a great experience here, the staff is exceptional, and any time I've had a maintenance issue they've handled it promptly and courteously which is very important!

The management staff at Heathwood Village has always been super friendly and courteous. They always send someone to handle maintenance requests in a timely manner. They work to keep the grounds in good shape and litter free. I enjoyed my 1st stay at Heathwood so much I moved to and moved back 7 years later once my kids were grown. The only con I have about the property and the reason I rate it 4 stars is because we no longer have screen doors on the front and I love letting in the sunlight!

This is our fourth time living at Heathwood Village, over the past almost 20 years. The present management and staff are the best ever and make you feel like you are family. I called the office recently with a request that was a special favor to me and almost before I got off the phone, my request was delivered to my front door! We love the space and floor plan in our apartment. It feels like a house. There are plenty of floor plan options and price ranges. Also, the complex is located very close to everything we need and that saves time and gas money! It's great feeling "at home" and relaxed. When the maintenance workers pass you, they always have a smile and a nice hello. I like the feeling of teamwork the staff seems to have. Tammy is the best manager I have ever come across and I have lived in a few apartments over the many years. I hope the team stays here for a very long time :) Thanks for everything!

We have lived here for a year now & am proud to call it our home. I also lived here 13 years ago & enjoyed it then as well. We are hoping to transfer to a 3 bedroom in the future. I love the staff, they are always quick to respond if there is a maintenance issue.

We are from Columbus and moving to Newark, we did our due diligence and looked at 8-10 complexes within 5 miles of this location. We were drawn to this complex for the location, the value, the clean grounds and were impressed with the Tammy in the office and her staff and willingness to help us with our needs. Thumbs up!

Heathwood Village is a perfect fit. I moved in right before my divorce and I've not left yet. As a matter of fact, I was able to move from a one bedroom to a two bedroom townhouse without any problems. It's close to everything...shopping, schools, restaurants...you name it and it's probably within 5-10 minutes from here. The office staff and the maintenance guys are awesome and very accommodating for any work shift and will do their best to help you out. There are several events planned every year for the residents, an annual community wide yard sale, free flowers in the spring to plant in the flowerbeds, and we've even had a cook-out or two...with the entire staff grilling some yummy foods!! Heathwood Village is my place to call home and I plan on staying for a long long time!!

The office staff was always very helpful and friendly (they even left a small welcome gift!). The apartment itself was very up to date and I had very few problems with anything at all, but if a problem did come up maintenance was always very quick and effective. The Heath area has TONS of options for food but I did not find much in terms of entertainment other than the mall and movie theater.

The apartment I looked at was very nice and I am now planning on moving into it in a couple of weeks. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

When I moved here I had not been an apartment renter for over 35 years and didn't know what to expect. However, I loved my apartment with its large windows and hugh bedrooms with walk in closet and my front and back doors. But the best thing about Heathwood Village is how everyone who works there seems to care about us, the renters, and how they all work so hard to keep Heathwood the best maintained apartment complex around. It is always mowed, trimmed and bushes maintained and when the flowers are in bloom it is very pretty to look at, In the winter it is plowed and kept accessable for us and from what I have seen while living here the same consideration to apartment repair or upkeep applies. So in conclusion I would like to thank Tammy and the office staff as well as our maintnance crew for making Heathwood Village a wonderful place to live.
