The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Heathermoor and Bedford Commons Apartments
Bedford Commons has turned out to be a hidden gem! Such a large home for a great price. Move in process was nice and easy, literally took minutes. The staff has been more than helpful with whatever I needed. The home was clean and they had a cute little gift waiting for me in the home. I can't wait to use the pool this summer. So far, so good.

I was scheduled twice for a tour and the first time I got a call and said I needed to reschedule and the second time I was scheduled and they left the office early and no one would answer the phone.

Hello, we are sorry that your first impression of our property was not a more positive one. I do remember this appointment. We found it necessary to reschedule the first time because the call center accidentally scheduled you for a tour that would have occurred after dark - unfortunately we do not tour after dark but we do keep the office open to service our residents. At the time of your rescheduled tour, our leasing consultant was needed for an unexpected but urgent matter with one of our residents and stepped out of the office to assist. Our customers are important to us and we tried to get back to the office as quickly as we could. We are sad that we missed the opportunity to show you around our beautiful community and apologize for the inconvenience we caused you.
Would give no stars if possible. Was told at the beginning I would have a non updated end unit. Was sent my new address that was a more expensive middle unit that was updated. I went into the office to address this the first time I was told all apartments were rented and I could only talked to Brandon about the matter. So I went in and spoke to Brandon who told me someone rented the end unit I was told would be mine after I left! I'm not sure how that makes sense. This is all less then three weeks from my move in date. I was asked if this was a deal breaker. How is this not three weeks from move in day! Scrambled and thank god found a new apartment were the leasing office isn't extremely unprofessional. Was told done of my money would be returned since it was after three days of the application. They also told me they can't promise specific units... So what is the point of offering specific units! This place is a joke! Sure seems like a bait and switch to me! BEWARE!!
Property Manager at Heathermoor and Bedford Commons Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hello, we are sorry to hear that you are less than pleased. As you know, the home that you had originally targeted was vacant the day that you looked at it. Unfortunately before you applied and put down a holding fee someone else had already reserved the home (a situation that can happen when you don't apply immediately and want to think about it). There is no way for us to foresee to whom or when we might lease a home to someone. If the end unit was the home that you wanted, you should have applied immediately. Your money was willingly returned to you politely and without incident. For future reference, you may want to put a deposit down on a home that you like the same day that you view so that someone else doesn't apply and take it. Thank you.
After living at Heathermoor for almost a year, I was eager to move out and waited to write this review until after I received my security deposit because management is suspicious. I am not sure where to start. When I moved in, there was mold that took weeks and week to get thoroughly cleaned up. My A/C did not work properly for the first 2 months I lived there. It wasn't until the middle of the summer (July) and multiple neighbors threatening not to pay rent until they "fixed" it. Their answer after complaints every week were "there are 10 other people ahead of you with no AC, at least you can get your apartment with some." (And I am talking high 70s/low 80s at best). Utility bills for 1 BR run about $100, and up to $160 in the winter. The pool is green from lack of cleaning, the dumpsters overflow with garbage, and management is incredibly unresponsive (special shoutout to Stevie who I cannot count how many times looked me in the eye and said she would take care of it and did nothing). I completely believe reviews online about them keeping money, not responding to maintenance and everything else that is listed. If you are thinking about this place, do yourself a favor and move on! PS. If the management spent as much time actually assisting their concerned tenants as they did answering them on social media, there probably wouldn't be so many negative posts.

We greatly value our residents? well-being and satisfaction, and welcome feedback that helps us to enhance our residents? living experience and improve the service we provide at Heathermoor Apartments. While we regret that you were unsatisfied with your residency at Heathermoor Apts. our records do not match the events as described in this review. Upon review of the AMG work order given to us our technicians found no evidence of AMG in the home. We did find condensation and some cleaning that needed to be completed but no AMG. I also cannot find supporting evidence of the HVAC issues stated in your review. We did have some issues getting HVAC parts over the summer from our various suppliers, however, this issue was due to the switching of air-conditioning units from R-22 to the new freon as required by the EPA. We worked over the summer and continue to work as swiftly and quickly as we can to repair items in any one persons home daily. The pool did turn green for approximately 24 hours after a terrible rain/wind/thunder storm, this can be normal activity for a pool after a hard storm. Again, thank you for taking the time to submit your review, should you want to have further discussions please reach out to the Leasing Office at your convenience.
This is our first day and the experience is aweful. There were Lot of process follwed when we applied for an apartment. The deposit money is also very high. But the maintenance is very poor. When I entered the house the power wall socket is un finshed.Main window is not closing. When I put Washer water is draining into the floor the very first day. I am afraid to use any devices now. When I called the leasing office about the water draining washer, I was asked to call the emergency line. The representative in the emergency line told me that she can only raise a request and need to contact my leasing office again withe the request number. My floor is wet, and my cloths are stinking in the washer and nobody showed up to fix the washer. They made me feel like I made a big mistake by choosing them. Please stay away. The process here is only for the apartment and not for the residents
This apartment is a decent value for the location and price paid. The only problems I've really encountered are seasonal bugs: mainly centipedes and leaf footed bugs, and slippery parking lots and sidewalks. The appliances work but aren't the most modern. Management recently changed, so hopefully things get a little better. I had no problems with the previous management.

Thank you for your review! Sincerely, Management at Heathermoor Apartments
This apartment complex is very nice in a great area. The leasing staff is nice and helpful. They are not the quickest to respond to maintenance requests. The units themselves are clean with a decent amount of storage space. There are a tremendous amount of stores, restaurants and activities nearby.
