For a city that didn't even have a stoplight until 2007, Kyle has become one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas. Part of that is due to its location -- it sits just south of Austin on I-35, roughly an hour northeast of San Antonio. Today, Kyle doesn't just have stoplights -- it's also the location of Seton Medical Center Hays and several other medical facilities, as well as Austin Community College Hays, Austin Community College-Hays Campus, several shopping plazas, and a terrific downtown.

Kyle is home to beautiful parks, a golf course, and several community festivals and events. After moving to a Kyle apartment, be sure to attend the Founders Parade, Kyle Hogwash, and Kyle Field Day. Kyle's 600 acres of park space includes Steeplechase Park along Plum Creek and the Lake Kyle and Plum Creek Preserve.

For the most part a pretty chill place to live. Just getting emails or phone calls back from office staff is impossible. Also feel with the amount of pest here in Texas it would be beneficial to have hallways cleaned on a regular basis.

Maintenance is impressively quick to respond and fix anything that’s broken, and the staff are genuinely pleasant to talk to. I’d rate the management a solid 5. The only downside is the occasional dog poop left around, which reflects more on some pet owners than on the property team.

These apartments used to be nice and safe. Until the past year cars started getting broken into and left with no tires. They vandalized my car as well. It just doesn't feel like home anymore.

When we moved in 3 years ago it was so different, everything was well maintained now the gates are always broken, people drive through here like it's a race track. Come close to getting hit myself. No incentives to get you to stay.

I’ve lived here for almost 3 years. I haven’t had any problems until recently when my neighbor got a howling dog. I’ve had great interactions with the front office staff and maintenance is quick to respond.

I love these apartments I been here 3 years and resigned again. The apartments are nice and the maintenance is very quick with requests. The apartments are quiet. The pool options are great since there are 2 pools. There are a lot of people here with dogs but not a lot of people pick up after their dogs which is very frustrating and gross. Other than that the apts are great the layouts are amazing and spacious for the price!

**Apartment Review:** We recently moved into our new apartment and, although we’ve just started unpacking, our first impressions have been positive. The staff are exceptionally nice and welcoming, making the transition much easier. Our apartment, while not spotless, seemed about 80% clean, which is a good starting point. These apartments are nice for the price, there isn't much noise especially at night. They have valet trash and provide you with a trashcan which is nice. I like that they invite food trucks and have events here as well, also the two pools is cool.

I have been a long-time resident at Hays Park Apartment Complex, and my experience over the years have been great. To start with, the location is a major highlight. It’s close to shopping centers, restaurants, and schools, which makes everyday errands very convenient. The surrounding area is also relatively quiet, and the nearby park adds a nice touch, especially for those who enjoy being outdoors. The apartments themselves are spacious, and I’ve appreciated the layout and the natural light that comes in. Maintenance requests are usually handled in a reasonable time frame, though there have been instances where follow-ups were necessary. I have no complaints until my last month residing at Hays Park. A Hays Park employee (don’t know who because there is no accountability) didn’t properly pro-rate the rent for those moving out in September, it charged those that were moving out a full months rent. I had an extra $317.90 charged to me. I immediately notified the on site manager. I was told it would be fixed. Nothing ever happened. I went to the office several times only to be told the manager wasn’t in the office, was on lunch, and then went on vacation. I felt like the manager was avoiding me because she told me I would get a refund but for some reason never got my money back. So I got the contact info for an accounting rep. Same treatment, had to email multiple times just to get a response only to be told ONE MONTH LATER, they they still don’t have an update on the refund and when it will be processed. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY.

Lupe the front lady is very nice and sweet, she helped me by getting someone to fix my sink quick. The sink wasn’t working when I moved. There were a few things I didn’t like but nothing that a deep cleaning couldn’t help with.

I would give it a 3.5. We have had issues with dogs not on leashes attacking our dogs, no one picking up after their animals and no one cleaning it up so the area starts to smell and it’s very off putting. The staff is friendly as well as maintenance is. The amenities are nice and always clean although people need to follow the pool rules. We live near the pool and people are there all hours being loud and playing music.

Absolutely horrible

Have been here two years and cannot wait to move out this year. Do not fall for the facade- this place is disgusting, cheap, loud and the office could not give less of a **** about tenants. Might as well be a junkyard for dogs with all the loose ones running around, not to mention all the poop in grass and rock areas. *Warning* do not rent here! This place is a nightmare.

Management is horrible!!

After contacting management multiple times about the residents being noisy. They do absolutely nothing about it!! After emails and emails nothing gets done. I would NOT recommend these apts to anyone because of horrible management!

Noisy cheap apartments

Noisy property. Cheap building construction. Poorly maintained outdoor spaces. Dog parks are gross and no lights work. Poop litters they grounds everywhere

It’s nice (better than good)

Louder than I would like in my bedroom next to Bebee Road but as time goes by And with the steps I took to deaden the sound it is getting easier to deal with - hoping I don’t notice it after a few more months lol - I Love the property and the Apartment layout is perfects office stafF is friendly too. . A few repairs could be made in the dog park but they maintain landscaping nicely Otherwise - it’s the tenants that don’t pick I’m up after their dogs that mess things up. Staff is responsive and friendly. Maintenance team is great too - 4 stars for the noise but otherwise I’m a happy tenant now ??

I love this complex

I have lived in this apartment complex for almost three years. I have never had any issues with anything whatsoever. If I need a repair (which have never had, actually. I've only asked for air filters & someone to change lightbulbs) I just go down to the office & ask them to send someone. They are always there the next day. My apartment is beautiful & the prices are some you won't find anywhere else-- trust me I loooked (moved from Austin). On top of that there are NO pest problems whatsoever which is so comforting and my unit was brand-spanking-new. Sure, the staff has moved around, but that's pretty standard for apartment complexes. What really bums me out about negative reviews are the ones that mention our property manager, Jessica, specifically. When she came back to the office I was beyond stoked. She has always been the nicest person in the office & goes beyond expectations to make residents happy. For example, I rolled my car when I was first moving into the apartment complex. When she heard it was me, she actually called my dad to ask if I was okay & offered to come give me a ride back to the apartment complex. I have NEVER had anyone in an apartment office act like they cared about anything but getting my money. But Jessica sits over here working her bum off and still cares for the well-being of residents. This is my fourth apartment & the only one that I have actually been happy with. This complex is beautiful and I don't understand the complaints.

Sketchy Place

After living here for a year I look forward to the day I can move out of this dump. It looks like nothing is taken care of, the office staff do not care about what you have to say or your situation. You will love the loud music from the mobile home park next door...not. This is the kind of place where a guy broke in his own side window because he "forgot" his keys. Cars have been broken into. I do not feel safe here to be honest. -ANM

Run Don’t Walk!!

Whatever you do I urge you not to rent here!!! If I could give it negative stars I would. Read the past 10 reviews. How many are one star? I currently live here and the less than two year old building looks 10 years old. Management is incompetent and constantly revolving. It is my opinion that the leasing office would sell their soles to just get you to sign on the dotted line. It is my opinion that Jessica the current manager couldn’t care less about any future/past tenants, but I will tell you she is good at telling you what you want so you go away. I have to wait sometimes for days to get a return email or phone call. It is my opinion that they fake, very well I must say, that they care in the beginning then to just treat you like your invisible after you sign the lease. The trailer park next door BLARES music at all hours some days. I live in a one bedroom and pay in excess of $200 over market value compaired to brand new locations near by. The room I rent has cheap fake hard “wood” floors, cheap appliances and some of my cabinets rub/are not installed correctly. Electricity is also very expensive at this location both in Summer and in Winter. The reason I most want to leave is there are small dogs all over the property that bark constantly, so be aware if you work from home/like silence when you get home from work, this place may not be right for you. Please do you research and look elsewhere before you choose a new home. Here is your warning, you don’t want to be stuck in a lease like I am. Best wishes, Jake

Love, love, love Hays Junction

I have lived here for 2 months and I could not be happier. I love living in a totally new apartment where I am the first resident. The property is beautiful with fabulous amenities. The staff here is sooo nice and are very willing to accommodate any requests. The pool,workout facility and business center is very nice, as is the clubhouse. They are constantly adding to the property. I love that they have resident functions provided by the apartments. I don't plan on moving for a very long time. I would highly recommend Hays Junction.
