Brendon, Cherise, Meira, and Bryan are the most patient, helpful, and empathetic team. I've never come across leasing agents and community managers who are so kind and supportive. They're all very knowledgeable and committed to helping you find the perfect home. I really can't speak highly enough of them. And as for the building itself, it's exquisite. From the walk in showers and in unit washer and dryer, to the gym and stunning rooftop views, the whole building has everything you could need. Also, as someone who works from home, I really appreciate the large work from home area with several individual offices and conference rooms available. Compared to all of the older buildings in San Francisco that I toured, this brand new building is superior on all fronts. If you're looking for a beautiful new home in SF, look no further.
I knew Hawkins was different as soon as I walked inside. Brendon talked to me like a real person and not just an applicant. Cherise went above and beyond to help me understand every layout and amenity. Meira made move in day smooth and made me feel at home immediately. Luis fixed a small issue in my bathroom right away and did so with a smile. The water views make every morning feel relaxing and peaceful. The building is clean and organized and the island offers a calm lifestyle that is rare in San Francisco. I am very happy living here.
One part of me doesn't want to share this hidden gem because I don't want it to get overcrowded. But another part of me wants to be generous and tell others about it. So here is what I think about living here: 1. You won't find better sunset views anywhere. I haven't seen anything nicer than this. 2. I've never met so many smart, friendly, and interesting people in one place. If you are open, you can make a lot of friends here. Living in this community feels like having a paid subscription to a think tank, a premium bar, a co-working space, and a Masonic club. 3. You have two options for public transport: the ferry (the pass is included in your lease) - 7 minutes to the Ferry Building; and the bus - 12 minutes to Salesforce Transit Center. 4. Modern, beautiful units with good appliances. 5. The staff: Brendon, Cherise and Meira are incredibly welcoming, kind, and fully integrated into the community. They aren't separate they're part of it. And if something needs to be fixed, Luis handles it like a pro and super fast. Luis, special thank you! I'll save you from paying a cancellation fee on your current lease and won't say more.

I’m not a resident at Hawkins, but I visit a close friend who lives there and I’m over on Treasure Island all the time. Taking the ferry over is honestly one of my favorite parts! The ride is quick, smooth, and the views alone make it worth the trip especially on a nice day. Hawkins has become a regular hangout for me, especially with the weekly game nights. The vibe is always fun and welcoming, and you can tell the building really leans into building a sense of community. I’ve also been to a few of the concerts Gold Bar hosts with live DJs, and those nights are always a blast. Even as a visitor, I always feel right at home here.

Building a building is easy but building a home is hard. There’s something about this island and especially the Hawkins, that makes people actually come together. It wasn’t planned or forced, it just happened. And for the first time in years of living in places like Palo Alto, San Francisco, and Hillsborough, I feel at home. The difference here is the way the management team responds to it. They don’t see residents as an entity to be managed. They noticed that something rare was forming, a real community, and instead of getting in the way, they chose to protect and support it. Every idea, every small suggestion, gets listened to and acted on quickly. It feels like the building is being built with us, not around us. I don’t know how many people can say that about where they live. But it’s the truth here. As a citizen of the world who never wanted to create roots anywhere, this place changed everything for me and my family. I genuinely believe this island and its community will become one of the most interesting corners of the Bay Area and maybe even the new face of what Silicon Valley looks like next.

We recently discovered Hawkins while looking to relocate for a new job in the City. We couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we toured the property, it was clear this was a community built with care and attention to detail for the tenants. The staff we’ve worked with, have been incredibly welcoming and professional. Brenden was no nice from the first inquiry on the phone and throughout the application process. He’s always there to get everything done for you and fun to work with. Cherise showed us 10-15 different units and was so generous with her time and patience, she’s very kind. They both go above and beyond to make the move-in process seamless and stress-free. Every question I had was answered promptly, and I always felt like a valued prospective resident. The amenities are truly luxury-level: ferry, modern fitness center, rooftop lounge, cubicles for work and so many places to relax in the common areas. The design of the apartments is both stylish and functional, with high-quality finishes and thoughtful layouts that make it feel like home instantly. The location is another huge plus, offering easy access to the Embarcadero via ferry, dining, shopping, freeways and a brand new park. Both Oakland and San Francisco are minutes away. All of this while still maintaining the quiet, comfortable atmosphere of island living. Overall, Hawkins delivers on everything you’d expect from a luxury living experience. I've been living here for the past 45 days and can only say good things about it. It really feels like we are building a small community and the team working behind it is fantastic. Also, Treasure Island has one of the best views of the bay and the city. Very little bureaucracy moving in and not needing a security deposit was super helpful. Another positive point for me is how secure the mail system is. Lastly, the leasing team, Brendon, Cherise and Meira have been so welcoming and helpful throughout the whole time I've been here and even before I moved. PS: I also loved the welcome package.

Life at Hawkins is pretty great. I toured Hawkins as well as its next-door competition, and the choice between the two was easy — Hawkins offers a better, more attractive apartment in a well-appointed and better-designed community than the competition. I love my Hawkins apartment with its spacious entryway, high ceilings, large kitchen with tons of cabinet-storage and Samsung Bespoke appliances, a beautiful walk-in shower in the main bath, on-site storage, and a secure underground parking garage, all with attractive lease rates and incentives. The staff at Hawkins is friendly, helpful, professional, and capable, and the property is consistently clean and well-maintained. The views from my home at Hawkins are gorgeous, overlooking both sides of The Bay and the gorgeously newly developed areas of Treasure Island, a redevelopment effort that is already shaping up to be fantastic. There actually wasn’t any ‘choice’ to be made between Hawkins and its next-door competitor because there was no contest at all - Hawkins offered me everything and more I was looking for in an apartment home and I’m pretty thrilled to be a resident here.

From the very first moment I reached out, I received exceptional care and support from Brendon, who completely transformed the moving experience for me. The location is convenient, with easy access to transportation, food delivery, and essential services. Security is excellent, and I always feel safe here. One of the greatest blessings of living at Hawkins is the view of the water. Watching the sunrise and sunset each day brings a sense of peace that is hard to describe. It feels magical. I also appreciated how easy it was to settle in, thanks to helpful services and thoughtful housewarming gifts that truly made me feel cared for. Hawkins is more than a building.
