Located about three miles southeast of Downtown Escondido, Kit Carson is home to one of the largest parks in the San Diego area. More than just a natural habitat, the 285-acre Kit Carson Park serves as the main gathering place for residents who want to spend time outdoors or catch an event in its spacious amphitheater.

Rentals are largely clustered on the northern end of Kit Carson, especially near Escondido Boulevard. Westfield North County lies just south of Kit Carson Park, offering the community a broad range of shopping and dining opportunities close to home. Several wineries and vineyards are situated just south of the neighborhood, while the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is just a few miles east. Interstate 15 forms Kit Carson’s western border, connecting the community to Downtown Escondido, San Diego, and beyond.

We love it here

This community has been the best in the past two years we’ve been living here, management is amazing. Reese is always there when we have any concerns or any questions. Jennifer is amazing. We just met her not that long ago and she has helped us in so many ways. Rick, the maintenance guy he’s the best anything we need to get repaired at our apartment he gets it done right away, he has such an outgoing personality, actuallyall of them do. This property makes us feel safe. It’s always well maintenance always clean. If you are looking for an apartment this is the place to go. And if you have kids, they are going to love going into the office and getting snacks all the time, my kids are there most of the time(:

An Outstanding Community

The community is well-maintained, clean and inviting. The staff is commendable in their demeanor and personable in a very likeable manner. Reese is an absolute standout gem for the community. Jennifer and Rick were equally outstanding as well. It was all we needed to join and become participants in the community. We thank them.

I enjoy living at Haven76 because I like the location, I really like my neighbors, it's safe to live here. My kids and I enjoy snacks at the leasing office. It's so clean too. I love the lights strung back and forth between the buildings; it makes the place so beautiful at night. I also like Sprouts, Jimbos, Major Market, and Trader Joes nearby.

Amazing property with excellent service!!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Isabel, Rick, Reese & Will at Greystar, and I can honestly say that they’ve been a fantastic team to work with. Starting with the application process to my move and all that followed went with extreme ease. They’re always responsive, professional, and quick to address any concerns or issues that come up. Best moving experience I could have ever hoped for!

So, so glad that I ended up here! The housing market is crazy right now, as if moving isn’t already stressful enough. Haven76–and Reese specifically—made this the most friendly and seamless move I’ve ever experienced. Not to mention that the area and apartment are simply beautiful. Favorite apartment we've lived at!

Apartments are the best! The appliances are modern/up-to-date and everything always worked properly. Staff is so attentive if there was ever an issue, they made sure to always get things resolved. After moving every year for almost 8 years, we can definitely say Haven76 was hands down the best place we've lived at. Would've lived here longer if we weren't re-locating to a different city. Vacation Feel Apartment Living

Can't believe how nice this place is, even after a week after being here! Reese helped us through the whole moving in process and was super helpful and informative. Building is new (2016 I believe), pool and spa are amazing. Community is great.

An Amazing 3 years at Haven76 Escondido

We lived in the beautiful 2-bedroom apartment in Haven76. Our initial plan was to be there for a year while we looked for a new home; however, that one year turned into more than 3 years. Not only is the property well-maintained and convenient -- we can eat anything and buy anything within a 5-minute drive -- the staff members are absolutely amazing. Over the years, I've not hesitated to reach out for help. On a 3 week overseas vacation, I reached out to Will about our concerns of Amazon packages left outside our home. Not only did he retrieve our package, he ended up retrieving all our packages throughout the time we were away. Rick fixed everything for us, from beeping fire alarms to the hot water tank and air conditioner. He'd get things fixed immediately or provide a temporary solution until things are fixed. When we unexpectedly had to terminate our lease, Reese was phenomenal in coordinating our move-out with the new tenants move-in and kept us updated throughout the process.

Loved Our Stay at Haven76!

We had a wonderful experience at Haven76; only moved out because we were able to finally get a home. Reese and other management did an awesome job keeping everyone informed and responding to our questions and needs. We met many very friendly, very nice residents. I've lived in many apartments, and this was one of the best. One of the cleanest apartment communities! When carrying trash bags to dumpsters there can always be spillage, but Haven76 did an excellent job keeping the stairwells and hallways clean. Most people were very good about picking up after their pets and following pet rules. I was glad the management would contact people they knew weren't following the rules because that just made it better for the responsible pet owners and all non-pet-owning residents. We have a big lab mix and were so happy to find Haven76 because so many other places had weight restrictions. I appreciate how management stayed on top of keeping the community looking neat and clean and safer. Another benefit, Amazon and other deliveries would leave your package right by your door! Can't beat the location either!

My first impression of Haven76 was through aparments.com, it seemed to have great amenities, a nice layout of the apartment, and was very close to my new work location. I emailed Haven76 and was contacted shortly within a few days by Reese in early October. She has gone above and beyond throughout the entire process. She emailed me letting me know the available apartments in November timeframe, and let me know I can be put on a waitlist for when apartments become available in December, which was my preferred move in timeframe. She called me in October letting me know about the available 1 bedroom apartment for December, thoroughly explained to me the costs, what was needed to reserve the apartment, etc. She answered all my questions, and she was honestly a huge contribution in my decision making because she was very reliable, has responded to all my calls and emails, and has made the process of moving in as smooth as possible. Move-in day, I came late, but luckily Reese was still there to provide me my apt keys. She was so welcoming and made me feel at home immediately!! I have been living in Haven76 for one month now, and I can say that the community is quiet, the people seem nice, the apartment itself has everything I need, I love that it is dog friendly, and the gym has a good amount of equipment compared to other apartments I have visited. I think the only thing that would make it even better would be full access to the gym 24/7 without having to walk out a gate to get to the other side (for safety purposes), a larger grass area for dogs especially since it is a dog friendly apartment complex, and elevators. I know that none of these things can probably be changed, but those are just some things that have crossed my mind since living here. I love that they host events and have food trucks come by, that is such a nice touch that most apartment complexes do not offer. Overall, Haven76 is a great place to live, super close to the freeway without all the loud noises you would expect, great amenities, and AMAZING RESPONSIVE management! Best Apartment in Escondido!!!

The apartments are clean, quiet, modern, and spacious! There are lots of well kept amenities. The front office is also very nice and helpful. Any issues that we had have been resolved quickly especially when working with Reese. I would highly recommend checking it out for yourself and seeing what an amazing place this is.

These apartments are perfect!!!!!

I've lived here almost two years and I love them even more when I moved in day one(current resident). I have a 1b 1b on second floor. The layout is perfect, huge balconies, updated and modern kitchen appliances. washer/dryer in apt. Secure access, gated, needs key fob to enter complex. quiet and bright lightening throughout all rooms! LED lighting, 24/7 emergency contact. fix anything fast, the leasing office staff are amazing and soo nice and helpful. using plenty of party spaces for guests, and tons of extra parking right off the street. very clean complex, and gardeners keep up appearances. accept dogs and cats. office holds onto delivered packages until pickup. awesome clubhouse( hosted a baby shower this past February) WORTH EVERY PENNY
