Overall good experience We’ve had a great experience here, management is very attentive and helpful. The apartment is beautiful and has a great view. We’ve had a couple of maintenance related issues but they always come fast and make an effort to address our concerns.

Love living here Such a quiet and quaint community. Love the homey feeling of the apartment and the view of Morse Reservoir. Michael in the office has always been amazing and I’ve had zero issues with neighbors or maintenance.

The pros are that since going through a change in maintenance folks our new maintenance guys are really friendly and knowledgable unlike the last. The fireplace, walk-in closet, natural light, and storage are great. However, the location is 15-20 minutes from any real grocery store, they don’t seem to spray for bugs outside and my dog caught fleas here despite being on flea and tick medicine, neighbors will honk or rev their engines any time of day or night, and the complex itself will raise rent every year and also have hidden fees like needing to rent or buy a washer or dryer ($65 a month to rent a few years ago), and a random monthly $35 utility fee which is crazy because there are no amenities or utilities to warrant this. Ultimately, if you can’t afford rent going up $100 when you need to resign next year I wouldn’t move here. You can find better luxury apartments for a similar price point in better areas of Indianapolis or its suburbs.

Managing co more interested in remodeling old apartments, charging more for rent, chasing out ‘old’ tenants. Lived here 4 years. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!
I am just finishing up my year lease and cannot wait to leave. While I love the view and the environment, the office staff changes and living conditions aren't the best. I have had multiple issues with maintenance coming in without informing me prior, which is an issue, what if I was in the shower or something? Fixing things is also not a priority it seems. For almost a year my air conditioning had problems, they would come and "fix it" and a week later the same issue was happening. Finally about a month ago, 11 months into my lease, they figured out what was wrong with the air and fixed it. I also lost all of the food in my fridge because my fridge went out, which I called about the day it happened, and they told me they were unaware of the extent of the issue and just "thought I thought it was going to go out" NOOOO, it was out and I lost $200 worth of groceries and was not reimbursed a dime (it took nearly two weeks to get a new fridge). This may be just bad experiences I had, but also as can be expected living close to the water there is a ridiculous amount of spiders (I understand this is what it is, and is because of location), but I believe it is something to note in looking into places to live. Amenities are basic, and could use updates. I believe there are coal grills that can be used, but other than that you cannot have a grill unless you are on the bottom floor, for obvious reasons, I just am not sure the quality of the coal grills. Most apartment complexes now have updated outdoor spaces and even the pool area seems outdated.
These apartments are super affordable for the location and what you get. The property is really clean and any issue we had after moving in was fixed within a day. The neighbors and people who live here are also super friendly! The manager Rachel is awesome. She was really helpful and made the whole process less stressful. My favorite thing about these apartments are the HUGE walk in closets in the bedrooms.. They're amazing also the fact that its right on Morse Reservoir. Altogether its a great place to live 10/10
Property Manager (Rachel) is terrible! Takes over two days to respond to emails, was over 30 min late to every appointment we had with her prior to moving in! She had over two months before we moved in and the apartment was NOT ready come move in day which really put us in a pickle. Move in day was Friday, she was telling us we had to wait until the following Tuesday! That was unacceptable to us and she was able to get us in Saturday after we threw enough of a fit (but still had open work orders since not everything was complete!!) Also, make sure you read the lease and don't just sign away!!! If I could give this place a zero, I would! Every person in my building smokes (and smokes in the common areas) -- can't even have the windows open without smoke coming in to our apartment :/ it's 2016....what apartments still allow smoking in their buildings?? Also, there's evidence of mold (that they maybe just painted over!) I'm going to see about getting some air quality tests done!
A wonderful place to live! 1970's buildings properly maintained with larger rooms than newer properties. With docks on Morse lake for boaters, a great pool, playground for kids, mature trees, paved walking paths and an equipped exercise room for those who want to stay fit. This pet friendly residence is a joy to live in! It has a rural feel with great amenities and is close to town for all of the entertainment, shopping and services one might need. Friendly and helpful staff complete the picture of a good place to live!
