Located about 20 miles north of Downtown Boston, Andover is a classic and historic New England gem first settled in 1642. Andover features a beautiful downtown shopping district, complete with historic architecture and cobblestone walkways. Andover extends from the Merrimack River southeast to roughly the Andover Bypass. It is home to the historic Phillips Academy, a preparatory school established in 1778, making it one of the country's oldest high schools. The oldest home in Andover, the Chandler-Bigsby-Abbot House, was built sometime before 1673.
Merrimack College sits on the east side of Andover, making the city popular with students. Other destinations include the Robert S. Peabody Museum of Archaeology, the Addison Gallery of American Art, and Indian Ridge Reservation. Harold Parker State Forest covers more than 3,300 acres across Andover, North Andover, and Reading. Outdoor activities include camping, hiking, biking, and fishing.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hamilton Green
Very cooperative & supporting management team. Recent management team took effective & efficient steps recently to organize the mail room. They also took essential initiative to organize trash area providing separated areas for landfills & recycling. Most importantly, the team did an excellent job by installing smart automated lock system called “ butterfly” that not only provide easy building access but also support enhanced safety & security. Finally, the maintenance team are also very proactive, helpful, handy & skillful and fix any issues quickly. Overall, we like our stay in Hamilton green very much & would recommend it with no reservations.

If you need to break your lease, be cautious! You have three options: No1 options as they highly recommended, will probably cost you about 10,000 dollars!!! You need to pay 2 months' rental as fine plus 2 months' rental plus any "free" month they offered. totally: ~5 months' rental (nearly 10,000 dollars) For options 2 and 3, you have to pay back any "free" month they offered. Fine is 1/2-1 month's rental, much less (phew~~). But you have to pay until the apartment is rented out or till the end of the lease.
Want a peaceful living experience? Stay away!!! They play outdoor music non-stop, creating a continual noise disruption for everyone! I can hear their awful pool music inside my apartment even with all the doors and windows closed. I've let the management know that their music is a disruption and it continues to play (even though no one even uses the pool area, so music is totally unnecessary). Such a disappointment. Add that to the fact that these apartments are basically on top of I-93 highway and you have a total lose-lose experience. You can do a lot better for your money in the greater Boston area.
My apartment is cheap for its size!! I give it 4 stars
