The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Grove Hill Apartments
Been here about a year. The garbage is full and overflows. From what i hear the maintenance man lets his friends use the dumpster hear. The parking lot has so many pot holes, your tires will get ruined.
The apartment pictured above is a model unit to lour people in. Your place will NOT look like that. The halls haven't been painted in 40 years. When it snows you will be trapped in your spot! The rent goes up every year and if your late a few days evictions start.
I lived here for two years, during that time I had reoccurring issues with maintenance. My bathroom ceiling would leak from the apartment above me to the point where urine was dripping on my bathroom floor. Maintenance addressed this a total of 4 times within two years. Each time putting a bandaid on it instead of addressing the underlying plumbing issues. Each time this was address my ceiling was yellow/brown a few weeks after the issue was “fixed”. The parking spaces are extremely close to one another. My car has paint from my neighbors car due to how tight the space is. Lastly, when I was moving out I sent the property manager/landlord several emails reminding them of my new address in order to receive my security deposit. I was left unanswered for weeks. I finally received a response when I sent another emailed and mentioned CT tenant rights regarding security deposit’s. They do not care about tenants. They just want your money. If you end up moving here please be smart and know your rights as a tenant! Do not get taken advantage of. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone .
DON’T LIVE HERE. Currently looking for a new place to live. They don’t care about their tenants. Lived there for three years and the landlord/ property manager is so unprofessional. I only stayed here because the price is right but the unorganization is insane. My building caught on fire over the summer and I contacted the landlord asking questions as to what I should do and they never responded. I’ve had incidents with neighbors that I tried getting resolved with the landlord but once again no response or action was taken which led to me having to get the cops involved. They don’t care about the people living there as long as they get their money. They can’t be bothered with anyones needs. Terrible place. Not to mention theres been so many car break ins in their parking lot but yet no action was taken. Once again DONT LIVE HERE.
I renewed my lease recently and I’m glad that I did I love that I have my own parking spot and that everyone is very friendly and the staff is amazing. I’m going on my 2nd year here and I truly love it. I love that I have a lot of convenient places to shop.
I am a current resident of the Grove Hill Apartments and just gladly and recently renewed my lease. It is very conveniently located in West Haven to the VA Hospital, Interstate(s), Post Office, stores and Beach. The Staff at Grove Hill is always ready and willing to assist with any matters that may arise. The onsite laundry facilities have just been remodeled and are not only clean but efficient and convenient. The neighborhood has been enjoyable as well and neighbors always have a friendly hello. I would highly recommend these apartments if you are currently searching.
