We moved in after a family tragedy. Kristin and Rosa took very good care of us. Lately, the property has been improving and is looking great! We would stay longer but we really need a 3 bedroom. Very nice option!
This place has gone down hill fast. There is mice everywhere. Entry doors to the building don’t work. Washers and dryers always out of service. You can call and complain and nothing ever gets fixed.
After 20 yrs & 3 months we have said goodbye to Country Faire/Grays Point apartments. My children & I have enjoyed our time here. Management has been amazingly wonderful. Lisa is patient & kind and so is Kriston. They take the time to explain anything you have a question about. They are friendly yet also know how to handle rude people in a professional manner. Maintenance is awesome. Ceasar, Julian & Glen are always on time. In 20 years I have hardly needed maintenance but when I did they were always right there even in the pouring rain. My family and I love you all. Thank you for 20 wonderful years. The rating is for service, rent is a little high.
these apartments are well maintained very nice so many of them are newly remodeled and more being remodeled ,,the staff is wonderful and easy to work with easy to talk to ,my grandkids loved going to the park,I've lived there for 7 years and the only reason I'm moving out is because I'm moving in with my significant other in his house I would recommend this complex to my friends and family!
My family & I enjoy living here. Many amenities like the pool, parks, basketball courts & fitness center are great! Apartments have been updated which are really nice. Whenever I have something that doesn't work I just call the office and maintenance comes quickly. The office staff are always helpful and friendly. My neighbors are really nice. My children attend Woodland schools in Gurnee. Downtown Grayslake is also very nice with restaurants and bars. Overall is a nice place to live.
The new company that took over has done a great job in making this a nice place to live. Lisa and her staff have always been very helpful. All in all I give this complex a high rating.

We've lived at Grays Pointe now for a few years and we are very happy here. The location is good, it's quiet, the grounds are well-maintained, and the office staff is great. Any time we report a problem, they are quick to deal with it. Rent is affordable and they are constantly doing upgrades and renovations. We chose Grays Pointe over living on base and it was a great choice. It's an apartment community that is very diverse--singles, couples, and families! Everyone is friendly and it's a community that feels safe. We don't have any complaints! We highly recommend you check them out!

Apartment flooded and they took their time getting to it. I know the maintenance man pretty well because he has been here so many times to fix things. We just had to throw our wedding photos out because black mold is growing through our wall and ate through our photos. Reported it and they were not very concerned. Reported other mold growing out of the floor and they said don't worry about it. This place is an expensive living nightmare! Save your time and find somewhere better, you will thank me in the end.

I hate living here! Will NEVER renew lease! The hallways smell and are full of children running around until 3 am or later. The stairs have been "Under construction" for about two weeks now. They are just replacing the carpeting on them. They started two weeks ago and i havent seen or heard from them since the second day. The carpet is only half way up the stairs. The rest of the stairs are just the wood planks with rusty nails sticking out! Once you enter the apartment you will first notice the bee problem. Since I have moved in I have killed 37 bees and counting (yes, I made sure to keep tally and pictures). When I spoke to the office about this problem the woman pretty much told me to stay inside. I told her the bees WERE inside and she brushed it off. Simple repairs take weeks if not months to complete and countless phone calls. It's ridiculous that they would leave all the repairs in the buildings and units undone, but give themselves a brand new office and club house. The tennis court had no net until yesterday (when it's too cold to enjoy). The apartment was far from move-in ready when I moved in. The water wasnt working properly, the dishwasher didn't work at all, all the appliances would rock back and forth, the closet doors were falling out of the tracts, the "fancy" washer and dryer in-one they have inside the units only allows a load of about two shirts and every single time used, the clothes end up damp at the end of the dry cycle. WORST LIVING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! and the best part... THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME A COPY OF MY LEASE!!!!!!
I have been with Grayspinte for 6 years and I have a good tenant history when it comes to paying my rent. Probably I was late once. Well you cannot make an honest mistake in this company.They will not waive late fees for you, even once. I know it's a policy.Bigger company or banks like Chase wave some late fees once in a while. But this company they will never do that. Yes the rent are affordable, but also nice people who treat you fair means a lot for me. Specially that I know that I have a good payment history. Kristen who works in the office, she is very accommodating and nice to talk to. They need people like her.But Lisa the manager she will never give you another chance . You cannot reason with her. See they know that I always pay my rent in time. It's is so sad because I was planning to renew my lease, but for this reason I am not. I am going to give my seven years of rent two other company.

I am sorry for your issues. We try to resolve issues as they come into the office.
Glad I left, sheesh, prices sure went up... Repairs in common areas take forever to be repaired (prepare to call multiple times). Sorry, but I expect the outside lights to work especially when I leave for work when it is still dark. Drugs, rodents and roaches were a problem. Management only did so much. Treating the units with the problem doesn't help the problem unless you treat the WHOLE building!! Garbage is always blowing around and dumpsters tend to overflow. If you are thinking of living here, please drive by at different times of the day to see who hangs around the building where you are thinking of renting. When I lived there, certain renters who had nothing to do all day long had their friends/family come and go all day long, loitering in the hallways and parking lot, no one minding the kids.
This is my 4th year at Grays Pointe and am very happy, especially since the new ownership/management came earlier this year. There is a great cross-section of people; young, older, singles and families. I have a 1 bedroom and have ample living/storage space. My neighbors are friendly and helpful. As a senior, I am very aware of safety/security and have never felt unsafe or intimidated. The new owners are being very ambitious about updating and enhancing all aspects of the complex. The staff are always friendly and helpful. When I've needed any maintenance/repairs the response is always quick and professional. Whether you're looking for great restaurants, shopping, nature paths or bike trails - it's all a short distance away.

Love living here its a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom plus have a storage unit it's roomy the managers here are awesome they do whatever they can for you if something is broke they fix right away the area is clean you are alow to have pets for a one time fee and it's reasonable most of all is very quiet and peaceful here I would highly recommend people to live here
