The community of Clemens & Munsinger Gardens covers a large geographical area, forming a rough triangle between the east bank of the Mississippi River, Route 195, and Highway 169. The west end of the neighborhood comes to a point in the riverfront are of Saint Cloud proper, where the eponymous gardens are located.
The community contains a healthy mix of affordable and upscale rentals throughout, with many apartments and houses close to the urban core catering to Saint Cloud State University’s student population, and more tranquil and isolated houses deeper into the suburbs.
Residents enjoy convenient access to the region’s unspoiled natural beauty as well as its thriving cities: Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge is a popular venue for hiking and camping, and the Twin Cities are close at hand as well as downtown Saint Cloud.

Property Ratings at Granite Shores
Granite Shores has been a wonderful place to live! It’s within walking distance to eateries and shops in historic downtown Elk River. It has a lovely community room that overlooks the beautiful Mississippi River. The building is very clean and has a very friendly staff!
Granite Shores advertises this building as “luxury”. That may have been the case at one time however, it’s not anymore. The manager/building owners do not put any effort into basic maintenance, cleanliness or up keep. Resident complaints fall on deaf ears. This could be a great place to live, as of now; it’s not!
Granite shores is a pretty decent place to live. There's no obnoxious neighbors and the staff is very friendly! The common areas and community room are always clean! Its probably the most pet friendly place I've ever lived there's even a pet wash room! And the heated underground parking is amazing in the winter time! But best of all the apartments themselves are very well maintained and very modern looking from the black cabinets, to the granite countertops with all stainless steel appliances and the wood floors they are truly beautiful homes. The rent is a little steep but if you can afford it its certainly worth it.
