Grain Belt

Grain Belt Apartments is centrally located for culture and entertainment. It is near downtown yet close to the green space along the river. The management and maintenance is capable, accessible, and quick in response to my concerns.

I’ve had a wonderful experience living at Grain Belt Apartments in Northeast Minneapolis. Collin and Marissa in the office are always friendly and helpful, and Anthony and Sean from maintenance are prompt and reliable. The property is clean and well-maintained, the residents are welcoming, and the location in Northeast is perfect—close to so many great venues, parks, and restaurants. I’m happy to call this community home

I just moved in and still learning and adjusting but my experience has been very good so far. The building and apartment is very clean, neat and modern. Love laundry in the apartment. Safe, quiet neighborhood but close in to downtown Minneapolis and the neighborhood of Main Street at Hennipen and university.

Living at Grain Belt apartments has been great so far. It’s in a great location. The community is quiet but not too quiet. I feel it is a great value.

The move was fast and easy. Collin help us out with the perfect floor plan and telling us information about the property, and Marissa the manager went out of her way to be able to make my move comfortable and stress free. The whole team I can see takes pride in their building they are managing so well at.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and intentional! They truly care about the people at this property. The property manager went out of her way to make sure we had a smooth move in. The leasing agent, before we signed, stayed after office hours just to provide us with information and answer a couple burning questions we had. I greatly appreciate this staff for the hard work they do to ensure every tenant feels safe and secure in their decision in living at Grain Belt. The area is very quiet compared to anywhere in north east and the property is perfect for pets! It is well kept and the staff are more than happy to receive honest feedback without any kind of backlash.

It was once a decent place to live, but I will have to move out once lease is up. Heard lots of tenants mention some break ins with their vehicles and in the surrounding area, and the apartment does not feel nicely built for what they are charging. Noise is frequently an issue

This apartment is cheaply built and not worth the prices they are charging.

The complex is great and has been quiet. We have multiple friends in the apartment and going to and from is easy. The common rooms have coffee, tables and vending machines. It's close to restaurants and bars and a lot of other apartments.

Living at the Grain Belt has been a fantastic experience. Outside of the noise and traffic of downtown but close enough to get there in a moment's notice. Close proximity to parks and MPLS' river walk paths. Just a great location.

The Grain Belt was a comfortable and nicely located apartment home in NE Minneapolis. I enjoyed my time as a resident. Management is friendly and helpful and the building is well maintained.

Slightly over the top, but, I'd say this... In a once nice neighborhood, a once average, but pleasant, apartment complex is now left neglected in an increasingly dangerous neighborhood.

I reviewed every option in our price range between the Twin Cities, and we couldnt be happier with our decision to make Grain Belt Apartments our home. The homes and amenities are clean and always stocked. The staff is all very professional and great about communication. The residents are welcoming. It just truly feels like home all around.

Grain belt is located in a wonderful part of the city. Easy access to 94 if you need to commute to work. There are a ton of great bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as easy trail access along the river. The location is clean and peaceful and surprisingly remote, it doesnt feel like youre right in the city stuck in an urban jungle.

My experience so far at GrainBelt has been professional, welcoming, and comfortable. Ive been welcomed by the staff, all my questions are answered in a timely fashion, and the community spaces are clean and accessible.

I moved in last year and I enjoy the location a lot. The management is easy to work with and are very prompt in responding to my needs. They have a nice gym that is good for general use but if you are a more serious gym person it may not be enough for you. The apartments are very nice and modern, however I think in terms of dollars per square foot it's a little on the expensive side. There are a lot of local restaurants and things to do and a local grocery store within walking distance. Overall, I have enjoyed living here and have no real complaints.

I received a statement t last year that said my rent was increasing by $1k per month. No one is proofreading for this type of mistake.

This is the best apartment in the best location I have ever lived in. The amenities are top notch, the buildings are gorgeous inside and out. The units are quiet. The staff is friendly and responsive.

Grainbelt apartments are great! In a hot spot in Northeast Minneapolis with close proximity to 94, Northeast Neighborhoods, North Loop Neighborhoods, and the rest of the city. A clean, secure space, with a great community. Spacious apartments, plenty of shared amenities, and a great staff.

It started off fantastic when it was new and rapidly began declining. The grounds and community areas (hallways, elevators, walls) have steadily gotten worse. It has potential but it needs work, time and money to bring it back.

Just moved in to the Grain Belt Apartments. Looking forward to making my home here. The move in process was good, from touring the apartments to signing my lease and finally moving in all went well. Management was very responsive and answered all of my questions as I had them. Kristin is always cheerful and very helpful.

Prime location, unique amenities, newer property. Safe and clean!

My apartment was unihabitable upon move in. There was severe water damage to the bathroom causing the wood to rot. There was a strong ammonia odor throughout the unit with numerous brown stains on the carpet. Broken glass and wood were found in the dish washer. The dryer was clogged with lint. Used take-out containers were found on top of the kitchen cabinets. The walls and doors had scuffs and splatter marks. The sliding screen door did not close properly. I am extremely disappointed in both the cleaning crew and management for not properly cleaning the unit and addressing the issues prior to my move in. I was also not allowed to tour the unit until after I signed the lease and provided all payments. Absolutely unacceptable. Currently working with the management team to resolve the matter. In the mean time I have no place to live until the apartment is fixed and properly cleaned. I am told it will be at least a week. I have never had such a poor experience with an apartment complex in my life.

I loved living at the Grain Belt apartments for many reasons including the fact it is so quiet and the new staff are wonderful. They go above and beyond for their residents and if there are ever questions you have they get back to you right away. I was ill in my apartment for a while and they would bring packages to me knowing I was unable to get to the office to pick them up. This meant a lot to me as they were very busy. Anytime I had questions they answered them promptly and were very friendly. I used to live downtown Minneapolis next to the football stadium and it was so loud I had to move away due to sirens and ambulances. There is not a noise ordinace in the city and with hospital right there you constantly hear sirens and police cars. I wanted to live in the city but away from the noise where it was safe, accessible to highways, near bike trails, and close to restaurants. I am SOOO glad I decided on the Grainbelt Apartments as it has everything I need PLUS a STELLAR view of downtown. You can get to the center of downtown in a 5 minute uber but you are close to nature with bike trails. Being in Northeast Minneapolis is wonderful and the Grainbelt is so accessible with amazing amenities (gym, lobby, secure garage, updated appliances with wonderful views of the city. Look no further as this place has everything!

This apartment has great use of space for only being 838 square feet. We have an awesome view of downtown Minneapolis. There isn't a big lot for parking. Street parking is available, but it's pretty packed. A great area for walking around and doing things. There is always something to do in this area. Great apartment and area for the money!
