Estabrook Park is a commercial hub and residential area about four miles north of Downtown Milwaukee. There are rentals options for every style and budget here, but there are many affordable apartments located here as well. The neighborhood is anchored by its namesake park. With the Milwaukee River running through the greenspace, Estabrook Park provides a serene refuge for residents. The sprawling park has trails, a skate park, a dog park, and several sports facilities. Residents also flock to the park to enjoy the Estabrook Beer Garden, a seasonal sport serving up German fare with occasional live music. Along with housing Columbia College of Nursing and the Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin, there are multiple business offices, stores, and restaurants in the neighborhood. The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is about three miles away so it’s also a good option for students, faculty, and staff who want to be close to campus and plenty of amenities.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
