I wanted to love this place - units small but lovely. Great location & amenities, i thought.... However, management is a disaster. Smells like weed 24/7. Garbage rooms full and overflowing constantly. Residents treat the amenities terribly. Pool is unusable on weekends given that some residents treat it like a private club - bring many/many guests - play loud music, drink, smoke weed, ets. Gym never gets cleaned properly (machines NEVER cleaned once in 16 mos). Garage filthy - construction materials, etc, just piled in corners, garbage cans overflowing. Everyone here is extremely young, and think they can treat it like a college dorm. Don't go near this place. It is awful

I enjoy living at Glasshouse. I can walk to work in less than 20 mins, my apartment is lovely and the view is stunning but I didn’t give it a 5 because you can hear your neighbors and there is no free guest parking.

Exterior cleaning could use some help but overall the amenities are nice. Staff is super helpful and nice! Plenty of parking in garage. If any maintenance is needed it is resolved day of or within 48 hours.

Glass House really lives up to it's status as a luxury apartment. The amenities are great, the maintenance team responds to issues almost instantly, and the folks in the leasing office and at the front desk are incredibly helpful. The apartments are also gorgeous and spacious. If I hadn't bought a home, I would definitely still live at Glass House!

Glasshouse is perfectly located near restaurants, transportation, and the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. The property is kept clean and I feel safe. The staff is super friendly and go out of their way to make me feel at home. Of course, the view can’t be beat!

Great location and people that work here. Maintenance staff works super hard. Vaping in the elevator is very gross, and the trqffic/train noise can be alot. But overall, nice place!

What we liked: Positive experience with the leasing office, prompt response to any service requests, great location for walking downtown, pretty lounge area, well-equipped gym with a lovely view. We got our full deposit back when we left, no problem. What we didn't like: We took a level-1 courtyard unit with the intention of spending more time outdoors. But each unit pipes its dryer ventilation into the courtyard so our chairs are constantly covered in lint & dryer sheets from other units. It was therefore also impossible to sit outside if anyone else was doing laundry. The train noise! There is nothing they can do but we felt lied to. Don't believe them when they say the trains don't blow their horns! Especially during the summer it got up to every hour, right by our window. During lantern fly season the exits to the apartment complex were plastered (!) with dead lantern flies. Not cleaned for many weeks until there was a showing. Poorly maintained compound - the gym would frequently run out of wipes & the machines are not maintained, so many things are falling apart after just 2+ years of use. The treadmill belts are streaked with sweat stains. The garage is also really dirty.

I’d recommend Glasshouse generally. I do think it’s overpriced for the area, but it’s close to the city, and the amenities are solid. I do wish someone from maintenance would fix the peloton bikes in the gym.

The people that work at the Glasshouse are the most helpful, nice and caring individuals I have ever witnessed at an apartment. Specifically Mackenzie is always there when you need her and has the answers to solve any of my problems. Overall there is no where else I would want to live and there is no better serving team than that at the Glasshouse. If you are considering a place near Pittsburgh, the glass house is absolutely the way to go. And by the way it could not be a more beautiful property with the best amenities I have ever seen. Lastly, the culture in the Glasshouse is one of community - you can’t beat that.

The staff and maintenance team here at Glasshouse are top notch! They are all very friendly. The location can’t be beat either. Everything I need is a short walk or bike ride away. I absolutely love that I have such easy access to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail!

The best apartments ever!!!!! I just recently moved in and I absolutely love living there. Super peaceful and nice. I can't wait for the pool to open in the summer so I can lay out there with the beautiful view of the city!

My overall experience at Glasshouse thus far is positive. There are a few things I wish would change about the community. I've found that the hallways are not as well maintained as they could be. Management decided to lock the trash room doors in the garage, but this means that residents have minimal access to the recycling stations. Thus, the trash rooms on each floor and the space outside of the trash rooms in the garage have become overflowing with garbage.

Glasshouse is a beautiful place to live. The amenities are great and everything is always very clean. The concierge is always quick to respond to any concerns. The maintenance staff is amazing.

I moved into Glasshouse Pittsburgh less than a month ago on a first floor unit. One or two bugs would get inside my apartment everyday but I figured that was tolerable for a first floor unit. The past couple of days have been much worse. The bugs started to number over 10 everyday. I bought and applied anti bug repellent, but it did nothing so I submitted a maintenance request. I also walked into the leasing office to discuss the issue and was quickly talked down to. I told a male leasing agent how the bugs were getting all over my apartment and they were found in groups. My father walked into my bathroom this morning and quickly saw six bugs together. That is not an acceptable situation and is not natural for a first floor apartment. However, when I was trying to tell this agent that my father found over 15 bugs today and he kept on repeating that some bugs are normal in an apartment. I felt ignored and that he was trying to diminish my problems and turn it into me just being a girl who hates bugs. Then he continued to try to turn the buildings problem into my problem. He mentioned how they could be getting into the glass door from a hole, and I asked if they checked units before move ins. He said they did check for potential issues in this area. I then asked how there are already bug issues and he proceeded to suggest that it could be my fault. He said I could have damaged the walls when moving in furniture. I did not have furniture. I ordered all my furniture off Amazon, so it came in small packages so no wall is hit. I have a bug problem and a staff member who was anything but helpful. This building is expensive and none of that was okay. I would not recommend this location.
